what do you think would happen if Dazai met someone who also had a nullification ability? Idk if this has been covered in the manga because I don’t read it, but would they cancel each other out and they would both be without their nullification? Or would it be more of whoever touches the other first? Would both keep their ability? Idk I just randomly thought if this lol

I think people who commented the post came to the most reasonable conclusion– it would form a singularity. On what kind of singularity, it's hard to tell? I'm far from being a singularity expert since I'm not that knowledgeable about the novels; but as I like to think of them, they're unpredictable effects that are caused by two same abilities interacting, so there's no way to foresee what's going to happen without directly testing it. I imagine it wouldn't be a far guess for them to nullify each other, it would feel on brand with the essence of No Longer Human. Or perhaps they would create a black hole? Half joking, but as of 55 Minutes, abilities' singularities have already caused the creation of weapons of mass destruction.
