#not that i think he doesnt deserve it or w/e i just had no idea #michael chabon is/was a rlly prominent litfic writer i hear his name all the time but paradoxically i never hear abt any of his books #literally the titles of his books dont even sound vaguely familiar to me #i float around these two theatre orgs and the only thing i ever did was play a very minor tech role in one show a year ago #but ppl always assume im very involved in the orgs and ask me which shows im working on and stuff #there are a Lot of concurrent shows being worked on between these two orgs so i think every person just assumes #that im working in every show that they arent #i know a Lot of ppl in these two orgs but i am really not doing anything for either org #perhaps it is like that w michael chabon floating around the world of prominent authors #everyone just assumes his books are important in whatever circles they arent in or something
