Atlas Barnabus:  fierce anti-royalist, the unexpected fourth member of the party. Invites themselves along to retrieve the cure for their sickly boyfriend. Servant to the Spider.

Andrew Peep: prince and heir to the throne of Glalis, volunteered on this adventure. Morbidly obsessed with and anticipating his death at every turn. Magicless.

Dolly Cardinal: royal necromancer and assigned bodyguard to Andy. Takes no shit, quick as a whip, always down to joke until someone is nearly dying. Servant to the Crow.

Samantha Abiodun: assigned healer and navigator on the journey, the only reason no-one dies. Fascinated with societies and cultures and how they all function. Servant to the Axolotl.

Featuring enemies to friends, a patron-based magic system with gods who have no problem getting involved in their servants lives, the exact lengths you would go through to save someone you love, and a funny little ghost.
