Zest trotted over to Guzma, tail wagging rapidly as he held a black thermos in his jaws. Its contents held some Tapu Cocoa made by Victor. The elderly hound whined softly, wondering if Guzma would like to share some of it with him. 

He knew today was kind of a bad day for the former gang leader that he considers close family, so being the good boy that he is, he wanted to try and make things at least the tiniest bit better for him! 

Zest isn’t wrong - Father’s Day is hard for Guzma. Nothing can undo the atrocities that he has endured at the hands of his biological father, after all, no matter how much the Bug specialist, his Pokemon, and his found family may wish it.

“Aww ... Hey, Zest. Do you want to share that Tapu Cocoa with me?” He gently strokes the Boltund’s fur, smiling in spite of the notifications he has from Guzmania Sr.’s persistent calls - all from pay phones and other such numbers that Guzma couldn’t exactly permanently block. “Thanks, bud. You’re a good boy! Hey, if you want ... I’m going to Nanu’s later, because he’s my Dad now, you know? If you don’t mind cats, maybe Victor will let you come with me.”

There's a Sableye with multicolored gems on its back sitting beside the Pokémon Center in Po Town without a care in the world, it's been trying to lick the paint off the walls thinking it's some kind of candy for the past hour. 

It doesn't seem to mind the grunts staring and commenting about it as it just clicks and lets out garbled screeches every so often before continuing it's endless pursuit for funny tasting wall candy.

Guzma decides on the spot that he absolutely loves this Sableye - partially because the gremlin energy radiating off of the Dual-Type reminds him of himself, mainly because he has a hunch this is the very Sableye his brother has mentioned before.

She carefully removes Guzma's glasses to pat his fluffy hair before placing them back on, don't wanna knock them off! She then pats Goli before carefully picking up Rocky to pat pat him too! She's gonna carry him around for a bit while she goes to pat her uncle's other Pokémon, she'll leave no Pokémon un pat!

Guzma and his Pokemon love Mushi normally, of course, but it’s so sweet of her to visit them just to express love and affection. Hence is why he’s chuckling, and why his ‘Mons are making their various happy chitters, barks, et cetera.

She always wanted to believe some parents deep down really did care for their kids...but she wasn't naïve and knew that wouldn't always be the case.

You're an wonderful person, a strong and good-hearted man who I am incredibly happy to call my son. I don't care what you did before, what you're doing now is all that matters to me, and Victor and I are so proud to call you family."

Guzma returns Isabelle’s hug. As Victor’s mother, she might as well be his, too, which is why it makes him feel better whenever she calls him family, or whenever she affirms that he didn’t deserve what his biological parents had done to him.

“Thank you,” he says, managing a smile. “I’m trying to be a better person, you know? And I’m lucky to have a family like you and Victor. I’m lucky to not be their son anymore.”

@britishpokechap​ asked: Mushi has decided to prank her big brother Goli and Uncle Guzma by setting little paper swanna all over the house. No one knows when she did this, how she managed to do it so quietly or how she managed to escape without anyone noticing her but she did and now Guzma's home has been invaded by the massive paper swanna army. Do not fear them as they are only made of colorful paper.

Goli cheerfully, and quite gently, plays with the paper Swanna that are nearest to him.
