Jamie looked at Ray in surprise. He was never bothered when people insulted him or said mean things to him. The blonde was already used to all this since he was very small. He didn't care about the negative words anymore. But it was rare for him for anyone to care. The only one he knew to care was his best mate Mako. Knowing that there was someone else who seemed to at least notice it made his heart melt a little.

On impulse he put an arm around Ray's shoulder and gave it a squeeze. "Oh mate, no need to worry! I'm dumb enough not to understand their words. To me it comes out as bla bla and I just ignore it. But tell me… Do you want me to blow them up? Just a little bit? I don't kill them if you don't want to… But just scare them what do you think?" The junker smirks at Ray.

"Compared to the rest of the realms, Seido has been stable. Thanks to the Senate's policies, the rule of law, and the competence of my troops, our internal security problems are minimal." They weren't completely without struggle in Orderrealm. There was somewhat of a deadlock between the government and Darrius' insurgents. A deadlock, however, did not mean peace - it meant a smattering of violence every once in a while. It was almost becoming routine. And if it became routine, was that then a type of order?

When Matias asked Hope if she’d like to join him and his crew on some treasure hunts, she figured any not? Add a bit more spice and adventure to her life.

Currently, what she wasn’t expecting, was to be held hostage with a rival crew who just so happened to be searching for the same treasure. But Hope knew Matias was clever, and had a plan for any scenario that could go wrong, including now.

“I’m telling ya’ll, just let me go now, and he’ll go easy on you. I don’t even have the treasure! I couldn’t fit it all in my jacket pocket!”

Hope was tied up, hands behind her back and right rope around her torso.

“We know you’re lying, Lassie!” The rival captain shouts, before slapping her in the face. A red mark was left there. “Where is he?!”

“Now. . . Now you’re in trouble,”

Bob waves right back, delighted to see his first trick or treater! A tip of his hat and he nods. Instead of letting them pick however, Bob takes it upon himself to choose for them! Why? Well-- it creates a sense of surprise, and it makes him feel more involved in the interaction.

His first initial thought was to go after whoever did this to him, but what truly mattered right now was Ray's wellbeing. He hurriedly brought him a towel to wrap him up and dry him off. "What happened? Who did this to you?"

Lucio snorted, hands fidgeting with his coat. Lena had dared him to do something steam or clock punk themed for his outfit for the night; everyone chose something supernatural or period specific. He's pretty sure he saw pre-French Revolution era on one woman; the skirt of that dress was fucking huge.

Little did Lena know, however, he loved media within that genre and could whip something up in less than a day...

Because he may have already had the stuff for it.

He thought he looked damn good tonight.

"Yeah, well, they didn't make theirs like we did...so that's their problem." Maybe if they repurposed some of their stuff for it, it would have cost them at least half as much, if not more. Or perhaps if they picked a less extravagant theme...

"But of course you have daedric princes," Sanguine stated with a light and amused tone, almost condescending.

"If you want to learn more before I curse you right here on the spot for thinking to use me as an encyclopedia, might I suggest leaving my sight and picking up a book!"

His tone was notably less friendly there, but he quickly followed it with a hearty laugh.

"Hahah. I am joking!" He assured, back to a seemingly jovial spirit NOT laced with animosity. "I have a FAR more fun suggestions! Once I have some libations, at least."

                  With the amount of excitement Ray had expressed in wanting to show him a so-called “surprise”-- really, what was with these people and their penchant for “surprises”?-- he had found himself drawing blanks as to what would arouse such a fuss as the other agent insistently lead him back to his own private quarters.

Any guesses were certainly quite far from an aquarium-- though, in retrospect, it made a great deal of sense.

                 He leans in close to inspect the creatures within more closely,  tracing a gloved finger against the glass sympathetically as he regards them. “Oh, they’re beautiful...! They are so small! ... What do they eat...?“

“... I, ah... I wonder if they miss the ocean... Aquariums seem... a tad sterile.“
