Govt to sell 3% in Coal India for over Rs 4k crore
Through the offer-for-sale (OFS) process, the government will be selling a 3% stake in Coal India, with a floor price of Rs 225 per share. The difference between the floor price and Coal India’s Wednesday BSE closing price at Rs 241 is 6.7%. The OFS is scheduled to start on June 1 and end on June 2. The government would earn Rs 4,160 crore at the floor price.

Sevilla beat Roma on penalties to win record-extending seventh Europa League title.
Gonzalo Montiel scored the winning penalty kick for Sevilla in the shootout after the spectacular game ended 1–1 after extra time, exactly like he did for Argentina in the World Cup final against France. The Spanish savagely punished the Italians.
When Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio was found to have crossed the line too soon, the defender was given a second chance after missing with his first attempt. He made no mistakes with his second attempt, setting off joyful celebrations.
Yassine Bounou, a goalie for the Spanish team, saved penalties from Gianluca Mancini and Roger Ibanez during the shootout, but the Spaniards were perfect in their own execution and scored all four of their own goals.

The Income Tax authorities launched coordinated searches across different locations in Tamil Nadu linked to state Electricity Minister V Senthil Balaji on Friday, police sources said.
The raids are currently underway in Chennai, Karur, Coimbatore, and other places.

The clash broke out in Karur when I-T officials came to search the premises of Balaji’s brother Ashok. Balaji’s supporters allegedly vandalized a car.
Close relatives of the minister and some contractors were also among those whose premises were being searched by the tax authorities.
