Often times in BL (and dramas in general) there are various friendship groups around the main characters but none of them has felt so real and organic as the juniors in Secret Crush on You. Toh, Jao, Som, and Daisy love each other so much and while it was evident in the first two episodes with just how far they are willing to support Toh, it was the scene in episode 3 where they all huddle on the ground and cry together that cemented just how…real and lovely their bond is.

Where 3 goes, 4 goes as well. Wherever one goes, the others will follow. You don’t have to do this alone because you have us, always.

It’s comical to watch these four get into wild shenanigans. They share a singular brain cell most of the time but when it’s time to be real, when someone is showing raw vulnerability, the others in return give it right back. In the first episode when Toh cried over the gift being throw in the garbage, Som, Jao, and Daisy were crying right there with him. Just…ahh!! The empathy, the love, the support, their friendship!!
