oh i forgot what i came here to ask.

dungeon meshi fandom, can someone give me a better insight into whether or not shuro was more prepared to revive falin than laios and marcille and friends?

like... shuro was going off about how they shouldn't have used dark magic, right? and everyone else was like "well if YOU were in that situation, you would have done the same". which, yes, agreed. but would shuro have gotten into that situation to begin with? all of them were racing the clock to get down to the lower levels before falin digested, but i assume they all knew that they'd need animal blood/tissue to revive her even if she wasn't fully digested. so like... what was the plan? did shuro have one? was he planning to bring her remains closer to the surface for the dungeon revivers/corpse takers/whatever they are? or did he somehow have a supply of animal meat to use? do you think one of his attendants had a bag of holding filled with meat or something?? shuro wasn't eating regularly but they clearly had food, so how much did they have??? were they ready to do a full resurrection????

8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?

I'm relatively new as a writer in general so every story feels like I'm not brave enough to try it haha ^^"

Though there are some stories I talked about with friends that I definitely wish I could write! One is a Pyre Cat!Reader AU. What is says on the tin: Pyre by Supergiant games, except the Reader is a cat. Everyone is baffled, hijinks ensue. Very much inspired by Stray :'3

A second one that is very dear to my heart right now is the sequel to my first fanfic series ever (woo!) Like. I joked about making a larger part three for it in the end note and now it's... Not even a joke and I am rolling various plot points around in my head. If one of these would happen this year (unlikely given I write uhhhhh slowly), this one is much more likely!

11. Would you like to try any new fanfic genres or tropes this year?

I mostly waddle around in the realm of Canon Divergence or missing scenes and for now I feel comfortable there haha ^^" Though I want to try to explore those deeper instead of just... Shorter scenes that I shake out of my brain and never expand upon haha :')

But I would like to try to write a time-loop fic because I had so much fun with those always, and maybe this year will be the one where I do so!
