i also had a dream? a drowsy hallucination? that i had nen. it was like a defensive type that had the requirement for the host body (me) to be asleep and then my body would change into inorganic material that would be worked on and like. build my defenses and could also autoattack people nearby or people far away if i set the condition without falling asleep. i guess my body was being worked on my some sort of nen beasts? technically. it was supposed to have the appearance of me being alseep, but if you used like gyo i think you could see the little nen beast poking out from my body and moving around while they worked. don't ask me what category this ability would be under i have no idea lol
