like seriously, asian ladybugs are bad news. they're good at killing aphids yes, but also like every kind of native bug and caterpillar. They've almost completely outcompeted native ladybugs to the point where at least a few are now on the endangered species list. seriously, do not buy ladybugs to release online. Nearly 100% of the time they're the invasives and you're just undoing years of native population buildup by releasing them.
