#i'm sorry i saw those dumb 'she finally does something/has a personality' she's always had one! #she's always been strong!! you guys just go blind the second you see the color pink!! #LIKE i kinda hate how fem characters can't be strong unless they've got masculine traits (and those are not bad to have ofc) #she's unabashedly hyper femme and holds tons of compassion‚ intelligence‚ and empathy for her subjects and friends and even her enemies!!!! #she kicks butt IN the hot pink dress!!!!!! #the movie doesn't give her a personality it just puts her into more of an active role than she gets in the mainline 3D games #and yeah i know mario characters are typically one-note #so i can't rlly blame people for seeing the princess who's known for getting kidnapped and going 'YOOOOOO' #but still. the only thing the movie changed as her sing-song voice which i really loved #and god the movie hasn't even come out yet! #tldr: peach has always had strength! some people are just under the impression that feminine character = no personality #mario movie
