And the day of our wedding, my dear Amanda (@sambaedmonton), @renidabahia, @drdancergirl and @paola_scholte surprised us with one-of-a-kind painting of Iansa and Xango by this amazing artist!!!!! It is beautiful indeed, but more importantly, it reflects the love and good energy our friends feel for us 🙂 A blessing indeed! The detail and symbolic meaning embedded in this beautiful painting is so special, like the heart of fire that embraces and contains the love and passion between Iansa and Xango. This painting will have a central place in our bedroom, together with the quartz crystal given to us by dear @myrahpenaloza and @robindra to amplify all the good wishes and positive energy bestowed upon our union by our friends and family. I've had my fair share of ups and downs in life and for every time the ship sank, there was an awakening, I did things differently and more aligned with my hearts calling. Each time I was broken open, I opened up even more to compassion, and boy oh boy, did I have to come up with some new and innovative ways to live my life. On the surface I feel really heavy hearted about the election that just happened, however deep down I know that this is almost necessary for our human family to wake up, this will mother innovation in so many ways, we will see more people standing up for what's right than ever before, because well, we have no other choice, that's how we seem to work, we rise to the occasion, I wish it didn't have to come to this, but it has and reality says, do the work, your work is more important now than ever. This past spring I co-created a live art installation with kundalini yoga and humans ready to transform! We held this weekend, called Moon|Sun|Fire at Latitude 53 Gallery. We were back to back with an installation representing the dichotomy of war and spirituality. This is the type of experience I have been dreaming to create and that was just the beginning. My how I've transformed in just 6 months, physically, spiritually and more!
