You are not alone on loving my ramblings because I actually answered most of these here! 😆 I didn't answer 22 though, soooooo…

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?

I’m not an avid reader of PPG fic because 99% of it is about a series of ships I deeply dislike with all of my heart (no hate towards those who love it though, let them continue to thrive 🙏) but I‘ve seen a lot of different takes on Blossom and her personality… mostly bad ones that don’t understand her at all, which, boooooo. I think most of the time with the rare fics I’ve liked, people for the most part kinda sorta get her in fics set in the canon timeline, and I think that’s because with those fics the authors are trying their hardest to replicate the canon voices (an example being with a lot of the fics from the Pokey Oaks Fanfic Library). So good Blossom can be done, I know it can! 😭 It’s just rare!

Also, despite my dislike of a lot of the ships Blossom gets foisted into by fanfic writers, there are a very rare few fics in that genre that I haven’t hated. I feel like there are a LOT of common problems with shipping + Blossom (with all of the more popular pairings that I’ve seen)… but I was beginning to write an essay about all of that here and had to stop myself because it was actually getting super long, so… for the sake of not launching into a ginormous rant I’ll leave it at that! 🤣

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Too many favorite things to count but one thing that’s pretty big’s gotta be her special ice breath. ❄️ I just love that she has this awesome, unique superpower that’s so connected to her that fans get upset whenever later iterations have given the power to the other girls, which is like one of the telltale signs that the people in charge of them don’t actually care about the show/characters.

I also love that one of the first things she did with it when she got it were to 1) flex 2) by doing nice things for everyone with it. 😆 I love how it ended up showing off two big parts of her personality: her motivation to be the goodest do-gooder to do good AND her proclivity to brag and be full of herself.

ALSO it’s such a fitting special superpower because, snow bones about it, Blossom is very… cool. ☃️ (The haters may not agree, but that’s how icy it!)
