For this I play through all arpeggios in all keys. Each arpeggio is only performed in one direction so the next day I begin in the opposite direction Two videos: 1) Day one - arpeggio series starting at the bottom with C minor. Each arpeggio alternates. Also, since I’m changing to the next #arpeggio at the top, my mind is most alert at the most challenging part of each arpeggio. Additionally, changing from one arpeggio to the next makes it clear how the upper position hand shape changes from one to he next. I practice “leading” with the left hand and having the bow simply “ride along” as follows: 2 videos: 1) Practice only with the left hand (no bow). Listen to each note as a “pitter patter” Economize the motion and avoid hammering the strings.
