Just finished Project Hail Mary. Friendship is our greatest gift and cooperarion is essential for life to exist and thrive.

#I'm glad it had a happy ending. would have loved some sort of report from earth and not just rayland's perspective #but it makes perfect sense. anyways. happy he's happy!!! and rocky too!!!! #can't stop thinking about how touch starved rayland probably is tho 😔 #i got 2 problems with this book. 1 is we never know anything about his family and know very little abput his previous life #we know just the exact amount about grace that was crucial to his characterization and not a single bit more #problem 2 is the book does fall into stereotypes. lightheaeted and i guess harmless ones but stereotypes still especially #with the russian characters which coming from an american author... yeah. but anyways. the characters are loveable the plot is fun #the science is nicely put enough to impress a science illiterate like me. good book. nice pace. drags a bit in the couple chapters before #the end but overall super enjoyable. hollywood release the movie asap so i can watch it with my family ok #laura reads
