(PNG) Frame 15 of the current animation for the J-turn.
Sooooo before I started posting I was experimenting with a lot of things. Namely using 3D animations and tracing over them in 2D to make a decent looking drawing that kept a style at least. Most of this was done by going frame by frame and tracing over each notable feature. This was the result.
(GIF) Progress so far on the J-turn animation.
Obviously it's not the best. Things seem to warp and distort as the chassis recoils from the door slamming. Timing isn't that great either. Fixing those sould be easy but I'm currently focusing on portions that are closer to the beginning of Compartment.
(PNG) Nicky looks decent in digital.
And again, all of this is a major work in progress. More will be released soon.
