Text
“Book Snow would NEVER leave in the middle of Pure as Driven Snow!!!!” …correct. He wouldn’t have… because he viewed it as the ultimate evidence of his OWNERSHIP of her. He completely ignored any message she wrote in her songs (even though she SAID she only sings when she has something to say) and just viewed them as evidence of which boyfriend she was thinking about. He looked at “everyone’s born as clean as a whistle” and “I’ve got three and twenty” as proof it was about him, instead of what it CLEARLY WAS, which was an affirmation of Lucy Gray’s positive perception of humanity in spite of everything she has suffered. But sure. It’s SO romantic that he liked “his” song.
