komaeda : he thinks he doesnt deserve to give you gifts but he does anyway. he would get make you a little clay figure of you and him. he messed up alot while making it but you can tell it was made with so so sooo much love.

gundham : he would get you a rose, but he says its not just any rose. he says its “ a bloomed flower, filled with the powers of the beings in pandemonium! acquired by yours truly. “ do you understand what that means? barely, but you love him so its okay.

kazuichi : he makes you a robotic version of your pet or your favorite animal. he spent weeks making it, making sure its perfect for you. he stayed up late wiring and cutting metals just to make the perfect robot pet for you.

11:52pm, April 27

cold air, late night, messy kitchen. sink filled with pots and pans and youre wiping down every last spot of icing thats left on your kitchen counter. “ happy birthday komaeda! “ written on the birthday cake.

tomorrow is your lovely boyfriends birthday and you wanted to make it special and hopeful for him. you stayed up extra late, baking him the yummiest birthday cake ever… however it was embarrasingly difficult. it made you realize you could never be a house husband.

anyway, you carefully put the cake on a plate, one that komaeda got you on your first anniversary. it was a pretty flower shape, the edges colored in your favorite color. komaeda was in your shared room, being forced to stay there by you so that you could make the cake without him seeing.

You cleaned up as much as you could before it reached 11:59pm, then you carefully walked over to the door of your shared bedroom. you knew komaeda was awake, he’s never asleep at this time. the second it hit 12am, you opened the door and started singing komaeda a happy birthday song.

each candle brightly lit with flames of hope, your voice softly singing him happy birthday. it’s all he could ever need really. he thanks you, telling you “ scum like him doesnt deserve it “ but he knows you dont think that way. you give him a little kiss as you make him blow out his candles.

“ well? what did you wish for? “ you ask, tilting your head curiously. he tells you that he feels as though trash like him doesnt deserve to tell you what he wishes for. you beg him for an answer. eventually you give up and you to just spend the rest of the night together eating cake. you fall asleep, exhausted next to him. he holds you close, whispering apologies for “ dirtying “ you even if you cant hear them. its silent.

“ i wished to spend every single one of my birthdays with you. even if we’re sworn enemies or married. i just want to spend them all with you. “
