ahh i don't mind you asking at all <3 i am in a bit of a complicated place with tumblr, and i have been overly self-conscious about what i post, especially when it comes to selfships. so i've just kind of decided not to post them anymore (for now at least). i definitely wouldn't say i've stopped selfshipping, i just feel more comfortable keeping them to myself at the moment. and i was planning on changing my selfship posts anyway, so they were private for a while and i just decided i'd remove it for now! :) but hopefully i'll feel better about sharing again soon <3 thank u, i hope you're taking care too darling!!

CHAPTER FIVE - is this a date?

“osamu.” luma’s voice was shaky on the phone, as if they’d been crying. “luma-chan, what’s wrong?” dazai asked in a concerned tone. “i..i got into an argument with my mom,” they sobbed, feeling like absolute shit. and they still had to live through all of it.
“fuck. do you wanna come over?” he asked, almost urging. “mhm, yes,” luma hummed over the call. “okay, i’ll see you soon. or do you need me to pick you up?” dazai inquired, sounding stern yet calm to not upset them more.
“no it’s fine, i’ll head over now. thank you, osamu,” luma replied, sounding relieved. with that, they both hung up and luma began grabbing their things.
they slipped past their mom and exited their home. on the walk to dazai’s house, their stomach was filled with butterflies and all fuzzy. even with all their embarrassing moments in front of him, he still showed compassion for them.
a while later, they had arrived at his place. entering the house and heading to his room, they fell into his chest, sobbing their eyes out. he comforted them the entire time they cried, not letting go once.
“she’s one of the few people i have left, i can’t destroy our relationship,” luma sniffled, pulling away for air. because of their sobbing, they lost their breath a lot quicker.
“i’m sorry, lumi. i wish i could make it better,” osamu said kindly, seeing luma’s flushed cheeks over their nickname. his hand slowly reached up to wipe their tears. “shh, it’s okay. i’ll keep you safe,” he cooed.
the door creaked open, revealing mori—the leader of the port mafia. luma and dazai immediately backed away, keeping a respectful distance from each other.
“what are you two doing?” he asked, a creepy grin on his face. “nothing, just about to watch a show,” luma said, trying not to stammer. they were well aware of his…type, feeling absolute repulse for him. still, they had to respect him as their leader.
“mind if i join you?” he asked. “um, we’d like some private time now, mori-san,” dazai said, giving him a serious look. “alright,” he responded, shrugging and shutting the door.
luma let out a shaky breath. dazai silently scoffed at mori for giving luma so much anxiety. “can we go out, please?” luma pleaded, looking at him with such sorrowful eyes. “g—go out?” dazai stammered, eyes wide. “just get out of the house, your room is comforting but it’s suffocating right now,” they explained, looking around nervously.
“oh, yes of course,” he replied, nodding. they exited the room quietly and snuck downstairs and past mori reading a newspaper.
dazai wanted a small perspective as to what luma and their mother argue about, but knew it was none of his business. “i’m not sure if my mom loves me,” they admitted, almost like they read his thoughts. he glanced at them in shock.
“like, she did so much for me with protecting me from my dad and all but recently she can look at me sobbing and only get angry and call me pathetic,” they explained, choking on their words.
“you don’t deserve to be treated that way. you have a big heart and if people can’t respect that, then they’re not worth it,” he replied, gasping right after.
he knew luma’s feelings on talking about their mother in such a way, but he unfortunately let it slip, wanting to take it back.
luma nodded slowly, not fully believing it. people had said that much to them before but ended up betraying them in the end. it was a repetitive process, which made luma think they were too problem.
sure they weren’t the best person, but you couldn’t blame them. the world was cruel and twisted to them, causing them to do certain things that helped them cope, even if it might’ve been more toxic than what actually happened to them.
arriving at the bookstore, dazai had promised he’d cover the costs of their manga, but luma planned on not buying much out of respect for him and his money.
they both headed to the manga section. luma’s mood instantly brightened when they saw a new volume of their favorite manga—cheeky brat. the story consisted of a playboy falling for his basketball manager and senpai. he was a bit of a pervert but luma was into that (minus the non-consensual perversion).
luma squealed. “finally a new volume’s out! this is my favorite manga,” they explained to osamu, who nodded.
he glanced at the first volumes on display, grabbing one of them. “what’s it about?” luma explained the plot to him in detail, remembering just about every bit of the storyline.
“but the guy’s a pervert though who kisses her without her consent, just a heads up,” they quickly warned. he nodded in response. “but other than that, they’re my comfort couple, i love them both so much!”
hearing luma’s gushing made his heart flutter. he looked down at the cover, wondering if luma found the male love interest attractive. “i swear i dunno if i want yuki or shou,” they said, as if they read his mind again. so they did like both love interests.
yuki was pretty enough to make dazai assume luma would have a crush on her, as they did with almost all women. even if they were fictional, it still left an ache in his heart.
“ugh, can’t stand couples.” they both heard murmuring come from two girls passing by. “i know right? like get a fucking room,” the other girl laughed, walking away with her friend.
“is this a date?” luma asked, trying to hide their eagerness for it to actually be a date. “um, if you want it to be,” he replied, smiling at the thought. “okay, i don’t mind,” they whispered, cheeks flushing against their tan skin.
“can i…hold your hand?” osamu asked hesitantly, wanting to take back his words until luma nodded with a smile and clasped his hand.
they walked down the manga aisles, picking up volumes that either they needed in a series or ones that interested them.
“oh, i ended up picking up too much, here let me—” “it’s fine, luma, i’ll just use mori-san’s cash. we both know the bitch deserves it,” he explained, chuckling. “o…okay,” they trailed off, nodding slowly.
dazai smiled at the excited expression luma held, them now knowing they would get all the volumes they wanted. usually, they hated overusing other’s money. but if it was mori’s money, then screw it.
as they purchased their items, the employee thought they were a couple. “you guys make a cute couple,” she assumed. “oh—we’re not dating,” luma told her nervously.
“my apologies, i shouldn’t have assumed,” she quickly said, shaking her head. what was with people thinking they were a couple? it wasn’t like they had a loving gleam in their eyes when they looked at each other, or the hand holding, or the flustered expressions when they held each other’s hands. definitely not.
exiting the store, both smiled to themselves that they finally went on a date. they wouldn’t want one with anyone else in the world.

1. it’s hard to choose just one but daffodil is still my favorite thing I’ve written even tho it’s been almost a year (a year… oh g o s h….) i sometimes reread it and smile at it bc I still love the world I made. an honorable mention would be the lost luma series as a whole, it’s still a world I created and loved so so much 🙈
2. HHHHHHH angst with sad ends or major character deaths…. honestly… idk bc I’m just so supper sensitive and attached to the characters I write.. it hurts me more than I ever expect it to hurt the readers 😭😂 I wouldn’t completely write off the possibility tho.. I may experiment and try it, I have written a couple things in my drafts that have major angst and major character death before but man it was hard on the heart I tell ya 😂
3. OMG NO THIS IS HARD! ummm I like a lot of tropes, personally I love fake dating!aus, exes to lovers, I also like enemies to lovers too the angst is just always so good. NOW as we all know I love fantasy!aus of all kinds, for those I’d say werewolf, witch, vampire and royal aus perosnally are my favorites. it’s always fun to read new interesting ones tho that I wouldn’t normally read!
4. without a doubt the first two people that come off the top of my head are: @sleepylixie and @moonlit-han . their stories really make me swoon.. lily and salena have a gift truly with words. I automatically feel like I’m being thrown into their words they’ve pained! I also can’t get enough of @dreamescapeswriting and her lovely writing! honestly the way m writes is so wonderful. Regardless of length I can always smile after reading her works

xiao - omggg they’re the most sweet and intimate thing ever in our relationship. whenever im stressed, he runs a bath for me. he lets me lay against his chest as i vent to him about what’s bothering me or we chat about something uplifting. he likes to massage my shoulders and thinks im very pretty with my hair in a messy bun <3
scara - mans was not okay with taking a bath together at first, which i understood and gave him time. when he was finally opened to the idea, i tried to make it as comforting to him as possible. i even set up candles and his fav movie to try to ease some anxiety <3

xiao - bro wants to go all out, but didn’t know how to at first. so, he asked my friends for advice, which, they didn’t really know much since i don’t vent to them often. but they said to do his best and honestly anything from him is perfect enough. he likes to, as previously answered, run a bath for me, we watch our favorite anime together (we sometimes rent perfect blue if i have the right headspace). usually i like to heal at home but sometimes he’ll take me out to see the city/town i live in <3
scara - says “take ur damn meds”💀ok but fr if it’s someone or multiple ppl affecting me negatively, he’s very much dead set on wanting to kick their asses. i have to tell him to be civil and to not let them bother us. “but if they’re bothering you, then that’s a problem to me!” he says. most of the time, we watch our fav anime and chill <3

Almost 6 days ka ng wala dito sa bahay. (Nasan ka ba kasi.) haha Bigla tuloy kitang gustong yakapin. Diba April 28, 2017 Biyernes, nang umalis ka dito sa bahay at tuluyan nang nagsarili at tumira sa totoong resthouse mo dyan sa Naic, Cavite. Hindi ko alam kung bakit sobra kitang nami-miss ngayon. Kukurutin ko na talaga yang piggyface mo sa sobrang gigil ko sayo. haha Nakakamiss talaga yung pagtatalo at pag-aaway nating walang humpay araw araw tungkol sa problema ng mundo, noh? Diba noh? I miss you like hell, mudrax. XOXO

Ka-miss. One time nga naalala ko nung bumaba ako galing ng third floor tapos nadatnan kita sa baba na tulala ka sa Tv kahit nakapatay naman yun. Umabot ata ako sa 2minutes na tinitignan kita upang malaman ko talaga kung nanonood ka o ako yung bulag na wala nang makita sa screen ng Tv. Natakot ako dun, Ma. Buti nalang hindi ka nakangiti sa mga oras na iyon. Tawang tawa talaga ako nun, sakit sa abdomen. haha

Sa trabaho, sa gala, at sa oras ng wala akong ginagawa, and even If I was the busiest person in the world, I’d always find time for you. Tatawagan kita palagi, magmurahan po tayo ulit. Miss na miss ko na po yung ganung moment. Bibisitahin kita diyan weekly.

Bali nga pala, don’t worry, nag-assign ako ng mga malulupit na anghel to watch over your house. Please lang po. Baka pati naman yung mga anghel na pinadala ko diyan, awayin mo ah. Wag mo na rin silang utusan masyado, mababa lang ang TF na binigay ko sa kanila. Dalawang lalaki yun at isang babaeng anghel, kapag may ginawa silang milagro sa loob ng kwarto mo, sabihin mo saken, Ma. Tanggal kagad sa serbisyo yang mga anghel na yan.
Saka lagi akong to the rescue para sayo. Kaya kong takbuhin Pasay to Naic basta para lang sa seguridad mo diyan. Gusto mo tumambling pa ako eh. haha joke. Lapit na rin ako bumili ng tsikot. Makakabili din po ako niyan.
Sa ngayon, hindi pa talaga totally secured ang bahay mo. Kaya palagi kitang ipinagdarasal. Halos everyday naman. Natatakot ako kung sakaling may sumalakay na masamang tao diyan at baka maitumba mo sila. Yun ang inaalala ko pero tiwala ako sa mga anghel na denistino ko diyan. I’m very sure na protektado ka.
Ang gusto ko, safe ka diyan, kinausap ko na din si Bro, papalibutan ka niya ng kanyang hedge of protection. Nandiyan siya para depensahan ka, iligtas ka, koberan ka, alagaan ka, at tignan ka bente kwarto oras. Wag ka lang pong pasaway.
Walang mangyayaring masama sayo laban sa kahit na anong demonyo o demonic spirit diyan. Believe me.
Nung kailan nga lang binisita ako ni Satanas, dumaan saglit sa kwarto ko, kaumay daw kasi sa impyerno, puro demonyo nakikita niya daw dun.
Gusto niya naman daw makakausap ng matinong tao. Di naman ako nagtaray sa kanya. In-entertain ko naman ng maayos. Kaya kung may mangyari sayong masama diyan, titimbrehan ko si Taning.
