ngl you really don’t notice how pervasive the shipping brain-rot in fandom is until you’re scrolling thru a tag for a media in which you don’t “ship” anything

#tbh I’m loathe to say I really ‘ship’ anything in the first place I just like the dynamic of some couples #but i don’t particularly care if the characters actually wind up together in canon #and I’m certainly not gonna stomp my feet if they wind up with some1 else. it just ain’t that deep #but in like mando for instance.
