A Little into You (Junkyu x Reader) (Ch. 35)
Chapter 35 - Back to reality Word count: 4.4k words Genre: Fanfiction, PG13, Comedy, Romance, slight Angst.
A/N: Hello~ I’m back with chapter 35! Drama lesgoooo >< I’m jk, i miss you all! Hope y’all enjoy this one 🧡💖 i miss reading y’all’s comments too! Take care and love y’all <3
It had been a day after your Treasure friends had returned to the city, and now it was your turn to leave.
Dongyun helped put your luggage into the trunk of the cab that your boss had sent out to Haenam to go pick you up—as he had promised when he had sent you away last week.
“Ahh, this sucks,” your childhood friend sighs out loud. “Sure I can’t have you to stay for another week?” he asks.
“You tell that to Joonyoung-ssi,” you said as you rolled your eyes. “Oh wait, I mean, Mr Bae;” you corrected as you remembered that your boss’ mum was standing not far from you and Dongyun.
Dongyun chuckled at your action, him wrapping an arm around your shoulder. “Gosh, I was getting used to having you around too,”
“I know. But hey, your semester break is ending soon too, no? You won’t be here either if I stayed any longer you know,”
Dongyun was about to answer you back when he felt someone pinching his forearm, making him yelp.
“Ahhh! Aunt Nari what was that for??” He unwrapped his arm from you and rubbed the spot that got pinched on his other arm.
“Hmph. You had the nerve to put your arm around my girl here when you rejected her countless of times now,” the lady grumbled, making you laugh out loud as your friend gets nagged upon by her.
“Now—I didn’t reject her. I rejected the idea of marrying her and being matchmade with her,” he corrected Aunt Nari.
“Aigoo! Exactly the same! Now, don’t stand too close to Y/n. I’m gonna take good care of her and make sure my future son-in-law wouldn’t have to worry about being jealous of you two,” she nagged as she pushes Dongyun to the side gently.
You scrunched your face at what you heard. “Ew who are you matchmaking me with again this time?”
“Hey! Be nice! It’s that gentleman friend of yours of course! Jaehyuk-ssi will definitely take good care of you, you know.” She beamed happily just by the mention of Jaehyuk. Wow, he must’ve really impressed your Aunt Nari; you thought.
Dongyun burst out laughing as he heard this. “Hah, Aunt Nari is shipping you with another guy aside from Junkyu!”
“H-hey! You don’t have to say it out that loud!”
“Hm? Junkyu? I was talking about Jaehyuk, Dongyun-aa. Did you clean your ears properly this week?” Aunt Nari responded, missing the point of what Dongyun had meant earlier.
“Nooo I was saying—”
“Okay, okay hold it up you both. Let’s not talk about my love life any further, please?” you stopped them before their discussion could escalate. Gosh, why are they so interested in your love life though?? If you had let their conversation gone any further you wouldn’t be surprised they’ll be talking about naming your future kids too. You shuddered from the thought.

YG Building (Treasure’s Practice Room)
Junghwan entered the practice room with his bagpack hanging on one side of his shoulder. He was still in his school uniform too, implying that their manager had just fetched both him and Jeongwoo from school.
“Oh, Junghwan! Where’s Jeongwoo?” Jihoon greeted the maknae when he sees the boy entering the room.
“He’s just stopping by the convenience store downstairs,”
“Huh, he better not get any more ramen cup. He’s had two yesterday.” The leader complained to himself.
“Enough about that, hyung,” Junghwan said as he approaches Jihoon who was sitting on the floor.
It seemed like they were all just chilling in the room. Probably waiting for the rest of their members to arrive before they begin with practice.
The only ones in the room right now were Jihoon, Hyunsuk, Junkyu, Yoshi and Yedam. Including Junghwan that had just arrived of course. The rest were probably hanging out somewhere else in the building.
Junghwan places his bag beside his hyung, sitting beside him right after.
“Hyung, how was the trip at Y/n-noona’s hometown? Did you all have fun??”
“Aigoo, why are you asking me? You should ask Jaehyuk since you guys live in the same dorm,”
“No way. When he arrived last night he immediately entered his room,” Junghwan pouted. “Instead, when I asked about how the trip went, he replied with ‘Later~’,” Junghwan imitated his Jaehyuk’s singsong voice, making Jihoon laugh.
“So yeah, tell meeee,” Junghwan pleaded.
“Alright, alright,” Jihoon said as he laughs. “I can show you pictures I took there,” he picked his phone up from the cold floor, unlocking his phone screen to open up the gallery.
Junghwan scoots over close to his hyung excitedly, ready to see pictures of the places you grew up in, not to mention pictures of you; he hoped. He hadn’t seen you for over a week and he had missed you terribly in that short period of time too.
The both of them focused on Jihoon’s phone with him telling about the places from the pictures. He showed your school, your favorite bakery, the local convenience store where you and Dongyun posed with V signs in front of it, the beautiful fields that you had brought them on tour through.
Hyunsuk, Junkyu, Yoshi and Yedam listened as well to Jihoon’s description of the pictures—even though they weren’t looking at the pictures themselves, they smiled as they listened to him talk.
Junghwan listened attentively; almost like an innocent child listening to a bedtime story as he stares in amazement at the pictures Jihoon showed him. He was amazed by the place you grew up in, the places you liked. In fact, he was amazed how such a small town had produced such a wonderful person like you; his favorite noona.
While he was happy looking at the beautiful sceneries and places that Jihoon had took photos of, he couldn’t help but wonder if his Jihoon-hyung has pictures of you as well.
“Oh and these roses! These are—”
“Hyung,” Junghwan interrupts Jihoon as he was happily talking about the potted plants in his picture now.
“Yeah?” The hyung stopped talking.
“Do you…have pictures of Y/n noona?”
“Of course. There’s one just now, right?” Jihoon said as he swiped back to the picture of you and Dongyun posing in front of the convenience store.
Junghwan shakes his head, “No, no! I can’t see noona clearly in this one. Besides, she’s posing with a dude I don’t know of,” he whined, a little tinge of sulkiness sounding in his voice.
“Easy, here you go,” Jihoon tapped on his phone to zoom on the picture, your face now more visible on the screen.
“Hyuuunngggg you know what I mean!” Junghwan was at the point of groaning in frustration at this point.
Jihoon laughed at the maknae’s reaction, along with the rest of the members in the room. “Sorry, sorry. I was just kidding.” He ruffled the kid’s hair.
“I don’t think I have any other pictures of her though to be honest. It’s just this one.”
“Oh…”
“Oh wait—” Jihoon said as he remembered something. He remembered taking a group photo with you last night before departing back to the city.
“There’s one we took before we left last night. Aunt Nari helped took the photo,” he swiped to the most recent photo in his camera roll, showing the young boy beside him the picture of him, Junkyu, you, Jaehyuk, Dongyun and Hyunsuk posing in front of their black van.
“Aww Y/n-noona looks so small beside you guys!” Junghwan smiled as he looks at the photo. But then, slowly, his smile fades as he zooms in on the picture.
“Hyung…why does noona look like she had been crying? And Hyunsuk-hyung too,” he added as he moved to look at everyone’s faces in the photo.
“Hyung?” Junghwan asked again when he realised everyone in the room going silent.
The maknae looked around the room, trying to read his hyungs’ expressions, noticing how Yedam and Yoshi were as clueless as he is. His Junkyu-hyung looked like he was thinking about something as well—probably curious on what Junghwan meant when he noticed you and Hyunsuk’s post-crying face in the picture.
“Okay Junghwan, let’s just…uh, continue looking at other pictures, okay?” He heard the younger leader beside him say, making him turn to look at him.
Junghwan nods his head slowly, deciding that maybe this wasn’t the time to question his Hyunsuk-hyung’s guilty expression a moment ago, along with his Jihoon-hyung’s awkward response in trying to move on from the subject they were on.

PEWA Groups (after lunchtime)
“Y/n!” Soomin squealed as she sees you enter through the office doors.
You smiled at your team leader, feeling glad to see her after some time. She beckoned you to approach her desk, so you did just that.
“Soomin-unnie, hello,” you greeted her with a smile once you reach her table.
Soomin, instead of responding to your greeting, extended her arm to give you a pinch—making you scream.
“H-hey! Watch it,” you flinched away from her, making her grin at your reaction.
“Good to have you back, Y/n. Also—what’s with not replying my texts??” she was leaning back into her chair, her arms crossed against her chest as she stares at you.
“Uh, thanks for welcoming me back?” you stated sarcastically before continuing, “What? No, I didn’t get your texts,”
“That’s silly. I didn’t text the wrong number, did I?”
“Well…you kinda did,”
“Huh? I don’t get it,”
You shook your head, thinking of it as a hassle to explain to her about your boss giving you a junk phone and confiscating your own phone.
“Look, just come with me to Mr Bae’s office, please?”
Soomin looked at the opened books and files on her table; figuring that she could take a short break away from them. She was growing tired of reading the same chapters anyways.
“Okay sure,” she replied as she got up from her chair.

PEWA Groups (Mr Bae’s Office)
*knock knock*
Joonyoung heard the subtle knocking, recognising the voice on the other side of his office door—obviously being his mother’s favorite student; also someone he’s grown used to looking out for. If he had been in a closer age range with you, the both of you would have hit it off like real siblings—he thought. But of course, there will always be a gap between you two. The both of you were purely connected through work—and only work. Aside from his mother of course. But Joonyoung didn’t mind it at all. He had already treated you like family anyways. He was just happy his mother has a girl companion since the only children she has are him and his brother.
After giving the instruction to enter his office, he sees your small figure showing up from the opening of his office door. And then Soomin appeared behind you.
“Oh? Soomin? I didn’t expect you to be here,” he said.
Soomin smiled apologetically. “I was just accompanying Y/n, uh, since she asked for it,”
He turned to look at you, questioning you with his gaze.
“Yeah, I did. Actually, I brought her here ‘cause I wanted you to explain to her that you confiscated my phone and gave me this stupid junk phone to survive with all the while I was in Haenam,” you huffed, slight dissatisfaction sounding in your voice.
Joonyoung chuckled at your serious expression. “Hmm. That’s true,” he said simply.
Soomin looked at the both of you confusedly. “Erm…so…Mr Bae took your phone away…? Which is why you didn’t reply to my texts…?”
You fold your arms against your chest and nod. “Exactly.”
“Now now, I saved Soomin’s number in that ‘junk’ piece of phone you’re holding right now, didn’t I? Now don’t blame me if you didn’t contact her,”
You bit your bottom lip from his response. Damn. He definitely said some truth.
“O-okay but I didn’t want to use the junk phone. I want my phone,” you frowned.
Your boss lets out a sigh and pulls out the bottom drawer of his desk. He picks up your phone and held it out—expecting you to take it from his hand.
You marched up towards him, grabbing your phone from his hand and then placing your junk phone in return.
Your boss smiled as he keeps the so-called ‘junk’ phone you kept complaining about back into the bottom drawer—not looking at it at all.
“Wha—it won’t switch on!” you panicked as you pressed the power button on your phone several times.
“Well, duh, I never charged it. It was kept in the drawer since the day you left for Haenam.”
You frowned even harder. “With all due respect, Mr Bae, sir, I charged the junk phone even when I didn’t even use it,”
Joonyoung shrugs and ignored your glare towards him. Instead, he turned to Soomin. “Right. So I only confiscated her phone ‘cause I know how much she would be stalking our company’s forum page and she’d probably sneak online to see all the nasty comments being said to her—only to let herself get hurt. Seems like a good idea to take it all away from her and send her away while we clean up our sites, no?”
Soomin nods in agreement, earning a shocked gasp from you to see your team leader siding with your boss’ actions towards you.
“Not gonna lie, that does sound like something Y/n would do,” she chuckled as she glances over at your still-shocked expression.
“No worries there though, we’ve cleaned up the sites and we’ve put up notices not to let any staff speak of that unfair incident that happened. We got you covered, Y/n,” she continued.
This time, you weren’t gaping or frowning at all. Instead you felt moved by your boss’ and team leader’s action. They have been protecting you. They didn’t want you to be affected by what had happened.
Just what did you do to deserve such good people in your life?
“Oh gosh, are you gonna cry about it?” Soomin teased you as she noticed your expression softening now.
You shook your head. “N-no,” you lied as you tried your best to suck your tears back into your pooling eyes. “I just…” you paused. “T-thank you…both of you…”
“No worries, Y/n,” Soomin smiled.
“Yup. I told you before, didn’t I? We’re family.” Your boss said this time.
You nod your head at the both of them, tears still pooling in your eyes.
“Ah, right! Since we’re here—” Soomin said in all of a sudden. “Hey boss is it okay if I steal Y/n away from the office for a while to get some errands done?”
“Sure. She’s your team member. Do what you guys want, as long as it’s not a crime,” he chuckled.
“Thanks!” Soomin beamed at your boss before turning to you. “Come on, Y/n. We need to get some stuff done before work ends,”
“Huh? Oh, s-sure,”
 *
“Noooo! I don’t want to be the third-wheel again!” You whined as Soomin tried to persuade you to leave her car.
“Oh come on Y/n! It’s gonna be a short while! We’re just returning the access cards,”
“Puh-lease. You’re gonna go meet your boyfriend while at that too. As if I don’t know,” you refute, knowing her intentions very well at this point.
Soomin grinned at you. “Hey, it’s not like I get to see him every day, you know. Besides, who knows you could go meet that kpop boyfriend of yours too,”
You felt your cheeks blush from what she said. “W-what? He’s not my boyfriend! We just…like each other that’s all. Besides—” you flipped your hair over your shoulder before continuing, “you can’t lie to me like this. You worked with Bomin-ssi every day for the past month! You did meet him every day before this, remember??”
Soomin rolled her eyes at your argument. “Enough, Y/n, we’re going in now.”
 *
YG Building
“Hi, I have an appointment with Mr. Bomin to return our access cards? Yup, from PEWA,” you heard Soomin inform the receptionist in the lobby.
You were standing a bit further away from her, grumbling to yourself about how underdressed you were if you were to even bump into your celebrity friends today. You were dressed in a dark grey tshirt, black jeans and your hair was tied into a low messy bun. You barely wore any make up too, silently thanking yourself for putting on some lip tint before heading to your office today.
You didn’t expect to be running work errands today, not at all. Instead, you thought that your plan for today was simply getting your phone back from your boss, saying hi to Soomin for a bit, stopping by your usual convenience store for some packed lunch and then heading home and just spending the day there before you get back to work the next day.
But noooo Soomin managed to persuade you to accompany her to YG’s offices.
You let out a sigh as your team leader walks ahead of you, turning back once to gesture you to follow her.
“Let’s go, Y/n. We’re heading up,” she said as you progressed your steps towards her.
The both of you scanned through the entry access point with the access cards you both had used for the past month; probably for the last time too, before returning it to Bomin in a short while.

YG Building (6th Floor / Bomin’s Office)
“Come in,” Bomin answered as he heard the knock on his door.
His eyes lifted from his desk and widens along with his smile when he sees his girlfriend entering the room.
Okay but his smile faded when he saw you entering closely behind her.
“Oh, you’re here too,” he said sarcastically.
Obviously he meant to say that to you.
“Tsk, she has a name, Bomin. It’s Y/n, Y/n, get it?” Soomin nagged at him.
Bomin cursed silently under his breath, remembering how much his girlfriend adores you, to the point that she would even get into arguments with him just to defend you. Fine, he might as well behave himself for a bit just so he wouldn’t upset his girlfriend, he thought.
“Yes, that’s right. So sorry, my mistake. Hello, Y/n,” he responded with a slight sigh.
You could hear the obvious dissatisfaction in his voice to see you here.
“I’m here to return our access cards,” Soomin reminded him as she waved the stack of cards in her hands.
“Right. You can place them on the table,”
Soomin did as she was told and then she stood back to the same position she was seconds ago.
“So uh, you guys wanna get coffee?” Bomin asked, his eyes glued to the screen in front of him now, his nose scrunching a bit as if he just read something he didn’t like.
“Uhh, sure?” Soomin said in an unsure tone. She turned around to look at you, wondering if you were up for coffee with her boyfriend.
“Uhh, you guys go ahead. I uh, I’m just gonna go say hi to my friends—”
“Great!” Bomin’s voice cut you off.
He seemed pleased to not have you tagging onto his time with Soomin lol.
Bomin was already on his feet and checking his pants pocket for his wallet when you heard Soomin asking you if you were really okay with her not accompanying you.
“Nah, I’ll be fine. Enjoy your time with…him,” you smiled.
Soomin smiled happily back at you. She immediately turned to Bomin who was already standing beside her, his arm on her back.
“Okay! I want some ice blended mocha pleaseee. Can we get some of those today?” she said to him.
And for the first time, you saw Bomin’s gentle smile.
“Sure. Anything you want, jagi,” he beamed at his girlfriend, forgetting that you were still there.
“Yay! Let’s go!” Soomin said excitedly, making you giggle at her cute behaviour. This is probably her cute side when she’s around the person she loves, you thought to yourself.
“It won’t be long, okay? Text me if you want to go back later on,” Soomin said to you before she followed Bomin out his office door.
“Sure, I will,” you nod at her.

YG Building (Treasure’s Practice Room)
“Hahahaaha again, again!!!” Doyoung laughs out loud as he records Jeongwoo dancing to this tiktok trending song.
“Okay calm down, hyung. That’s the third time you’ve asked him to do the dance,” Junghwan said to him.
“Yeah, but he just does it so cutely, no?” Doyoung said in between his laughs.
“Okay I’ll do it—but only one more time, okay??” Jeongwoo said as he points out a finger, indicating that it’s his last time doing the dance for the day.
“Okay, okay,” Doyoung nods as he giggles. His thumb was ready to press ‘record’ on his phone now.
Junghwan shakes his head at the both of them, though he was smiling at their antics. He proceeded to take a seat on the cold floor, resting up since both of his leaders had told them practice on their own today. They’re probably tired from their trip to Haenam too, he thought.
But of course, because their leaders have advised them to practice on their own, most of them ended up playing games, watching tiktok and doing their own activities; not that their leaders minded. Everyone probably needed the rest too.
And so, Junghwan was simply sitting cross-legged on the floor, taking in the scene of his hyungs relaxing and goofing around in the practice room—until he saw the practice room doors opening a little.
It seems like most of them were too busy minding their business to realise this so Junghwan sat up straight and wondered who could be entering at a time like this, especially since all of his members are already in the room.
And just as Junghwan was about to panic on his own—imagining that their CEO or any other higher staff were to peek on their practice today, he stopped moving when he saw the familiar face peeking into the room.
“Noona!” Junghwan shouted across the room, startling everyone, including you as you were halfway entering through the door.
Everyone immediately turned to look at the door, and you, as you entered fully now, closing the door behind you and facing them shyly after.
“Y/n! You’re here!” Jaehyuk exclaimed happily.
You nod at him and smiled at everyone, your heart pounding loud because having all 12 of them staring at you like this felt a little nerve-wrecking after not seeing most of them for a whole week.
Footsteps ran across the room, and then a pair of strong arms hugged you tightly, burying your head into his chest.
“Welcome back, I missed you, I missed you so much, Noona!” you heard the voice whispering above your head.
You pat his back gently, despite not being able to see his face right now. “Thank you, Junghwan. I missed you too,” you replied, your voice muffled against his school shirt.
“Aigoo, you’re gonna suffocate her to death if you don’t let go of her soon Junghwan-aa,” Jeongwoo spoke up, genuinely worried for your wellbeing.
Junghwan relaxed his grip around you, his arms now gently resting at your waist as he lets you turn to face the group again.
“I uh, dropped by to say hi since my team leader wanted to return our access cards,” you explained your presence there, with Junghwan still standing closely beside you.
“Ahh, I see.” Jaehyuk answered.
“Hyung, aren’t you gonna go and scream and hug Y/n too?” Haruto nudged Hyunsuk who was sitting beside him.
“Huh? I mean, I got to see her in Haenam already, so…”Hyunsuk replied solemnly. Though he still hasn’t got the strength to really look at you fully right now.
“Oh.”
“So…you didn’t bring any souvenirs for us then?” Asahi asked in all of a sudden.
You panicked, remembering that you did get them all something but you didn’t think you’d stop by to see them today; hence you not bringing their gifts along with you.
Junghwan sensed you tensing up beside him making him respond for you, “Heyy, noona must be tired out from her trip back, we shouldn’t be asking for gifts from her,”
“N-no! I did get you guys something! I uh, I just didn’t bring it with me. But I’ll let you know when y’all can come over and get it okay?” you explained.
Asahi shrugs at the both of you, “Sure, okay”
“Heh, Junghwan-aa, you haven’t left Y/n’s side at all now. And you’re answering for her questions too. What are you, Y/n’s boyfriend now?” Yedam teased their maknae for his clinginess towards you.
“EYYYYYYY” this earned him loud groans of dissatisfaction from his members, making Yedam laugh at their response.
Junghwan immediately lets go of you, his arms no longer hanging onto your waist now. He tried to explain to his hyungs that ‘it wasn’t like that at all’ but some of them started teasing him harder when they saw his face going red all the while doing so.
You giggled at their teasings, feeling sorry for the maknae as he fought for his ground on his own.
However, you tried to steal a glance over at the guy that you’re in love with and you couldn’t help but feel slightly disappointed that he wasn’t paying attention to you at all. Instead, he was busy staring at his phone in his hand.
Did he not realise you coming over? That’s impossible to say, since he’s not wearing any inpods or anything in his ears. Surely he heard you, didn’t he?
And while you were distracted with Junkyu, and most of the members were still busy teasing Junghwan, none of you realised the pair of eyes observing all of you in the room.
Haruto leaned back against the wall behind him, noticing how all of his hyungs that had gone on the trip to Haenam—not joining on the teasings nor were they looking like they were having a good time right now. Instead, they all looked upset about something, though he couldn’t pin on what the issue was.
His eyes looked over at you, noticing that you were looking distracted as well, even though you were smiling.
A soft sigh escaped his breath, wondering what had happened the time you all were in Haenam.
 To be continued…

A Little into You (Junkyu x Reader) (Ch. 17)
Chapter 17 - Some feelings.
Word count: 3.8k words
Genre: Fanfiction, PG13, Comedy, Romance.
A/N: Hello hello~ Chapter 17 is here! The story still has quite a long way to go, I hope you all don’t mind 🥺 Also! I’m working on more y/n and Junkyu interactions too (I need to remind myself this is a junkyu x y/n fic please omg fhdhhd) T^T Thank you for reading as always, love you all! <3
“Thanks everyone for the hearty meal today. I enjoyed it really well,” you said to them as you stood near their front door, along with them crowding the small area.
Well, everyone that is except for Junkyu.
“Aww y/n, you sure you can’t stay and hang with us?” Jeongwoo whined. “We could gather in Hyunsuk-hyung’s room and watch a movie on his PC.”
“What? Why my room??”
“Or! You could come over to our dorm instead! We can hang there too!” Jeongwoo continued, ignoring Hyunsuk’s question.
You shook your head as you giggled. “Thank you, but uh, I think I better head home. I mean, I’d love to hang, but maybe next time?”
“Okay…” Jeongwoo answered, slightly pouting now.
“Thanks for helping us out with the dishes as well y/n,” Jihoon thanked you, referring to how you volunteered to wash all the dishes after lunch just now.
“No biggie. I’ll see you all next time,” you smiled as you exited the front door.
“Wait! I’ll send you back,” Hyunsuk said as he reached for his shoes as well.
“Huh? Oh no, it’s fine! I live literally 10 floors below you guys, so it’s fine, Hyunsuk,”
“Nonsense! I won’t leave my lady friend walking alone home,” he said, slipping on his shoes.
Seeing that Hyunsuk was done putting on his shoes, you bowed at the rest, leaving them. Hyunsuk tagged along behind you.
Jihoon closed the front door and headed back towards the living room with the rest of the members.
“Oh? Kim Junkyu? You were here all the time? Why didn’t you say goodbye to y/n?” he asked when he realised that his friend didn’t say goodbye to you like the rest.
Junkyu sat on the sofa, looking slightly annoyed when he heard Jihoon mentioning your name.
“Yah, I’m talking to you,” Jihoon said to him.
Junkyu finally looked at him directly and opened his mouth to say, “Why did you have to give her my shirt?? That was my favourite one too!”
The younger members all exchanged looks with one another. They knew where this was going.
“Uh, kids! Let’s all go watch something on Hyunsuk-hyung’s PC!” Yoshi suggested.
With that, all the younger members followed Yoshi into Hyunsuk’s room, leaving only Jihoon and Junkyu in the living room.
Jihoon scoffed. “What’s the big deal? You were the one that ruined her shirt. Shouldn’t she be wearing your shirt then??”
“Okay but why the ASSC shirt?? You know I like that one!”
“Okay, I’m sorry. Clearly, it was my fault for handing her that shirt specifically. But, in my defense, I thought that it’s better for her to wear your old shirt rather than giving her anything new from your closet!”
Junkyu stood up from his seat. “Park Jihoon, next time, ask me first before deciding on your own!”
“Why are you getting all worked up over this?? Y/n is going to return your shirt anyways! Just like how she did with Hyunsuk-hyung’s shirt last time, remember??”
Junkyu sighed frustratedly at his friend’s response. To be honest, he wasn’t frustrated at Jihoon at all. He was frustrated at himself for lashing out like this. Again, he doesn’t know why he’s acting this way.
“Junkyu…why are you so angry at this?” Jihoon asked, gentler now since he noticed his friend no longer responding to him.
Junkyu walked up towards the window and stared at the view outside. He lets out another sigh.
“Do you…not like Y/n? Do you…hate her…?” Jihoon asked this time.
Hearing this question, Junkyu immediately turned to look at Jihoon.
“Wha…t?” he asked his friend.
Jihoon’s eyes looked completely serious as he stared at his best friend. “I said, do you hate y/n?”
“Why are you asking me this…”
“Because Junkyu, I need to know how you truly feel about her. If you hate her, then fine, I won’t bring her over or let you meet her anymore after this,”
“I…” Junkyu shook his head. “I don’t know,”
This made Jihoon scoff again. “Please. You do know. You’re just too scared to admit it.”
“Listen, Junkyu. If you don’t like her, just let me know. Because as your best friend, I wouldn’t want to force you to be friends with anyone that makes you feel uncomfortable--”
“Yes.”
Jihoon stopped talking. He blinked a couple times, surprised with what has left his friend’s mouth.
“What?”
“Yes, y/n makes me feel uncomfortable.”
“N-no way. You’re lying,”
“What if I’m not lying?”
“Junkyu…”
“Look, I don’t hate her okay! I just,” Junkyu lets out another frustrated sigh. “I just—whenever I see her, my chest feels tight, and I can’t seem to think of what to say—so yes, she makes me uncomfortable!”
“Junkyu…”
Junkyu sat back on the sofa, covering his face with his hands.
He took a deep breath and pushed his hair to the back with his right hand.
“Junkyu…do you like y/n?” Jihoon asked this time, more carefully.
Junkyu bit his bottom lip and blinked couple of times. He looks up at his friend that was standing opposite him. He stared at Jihoon, not saying anything.
Jihoon looked into his friend’s eyes for a while before saying, “It’s alright. It’s all good,” he walked up towards his friend and gave him a pat on the head.
                                                               *
“Thanks for walking me home, Hyunsuk. Even though you didn’t have to,” you said as the both of you reached your front door.
“It’s no biggie. Like I said, there’s no way I’d let you walk home alone,”
You smiled at him, thinking how nice of a person he is. You suddenly remembered how he also helped you, a complete stranger at the time, when you first met back then.
“Don’t stare at me like that for too long,” he joked, noticing how you kept smiling and staring at him.
You stopped smiling and rolled your eyes at him slightly, making him pinch your cheeks in response to what you did.
“Ow hey, chill it with the cheeks, okay?” you rubbed your now red cheeks from his pinch earlier.
“You’re too cute, y/n,” he said, grinning with his eye-smile that you like looking at. Whenever Hyunsuk smiles like that, you felt warm all over. His smile really works like an antidote for any negative emotions, you thought.
You smiled back at him and tapped your finger on his nose, which caught him by surprise.
“Pfft, you’re the cute one, silly,” you said, really meaning it. “Well, I guess I’ll head in. Thanks again for sending me home,”
Hyunsuk nodded at you. He watched as you entered your combination lock on your door and as you entered, you called out to him again, “Oh yeah, Hyunsuk?”
“Hm, yeah?”
“I’ll return your shirt soon, okay?”
“Oh? Oh that’s not mine. That’s Junkyu’s.”
“Oh?? I-I see. I’ll return it to him, soon.”
“Sure, no worries there, y/n,”
The both of you waved goodbye to each other and Hyunsuk headed back towards the elevators once you shut your front door.
                                                                                                                               *
Treasure Dorm #1
Hyunsuk enters his apartment and shuts the door behind him, locking it. He took off his shoes and arranges it on the shelf near the entrance itself.
Stepping into the living room, he sees Junkyu sitting on the sofa, while Jihoon stood right in front of him. The both of them were hugging each other, well, to be more precise, Junkyu was hugging Jihoon’s legs since he was still seated on the sofa.
“I’m so sorry for shouting at you,”
“No, no, I should be the one saying sorry,”
Hyunsuk tilted his head slightly, taking in the bizarre scene that’s going on in front of him.
“Uhh, are you both okay?” he asked, approaching them now.
The both of them let go of each other upon hearing their hyung’s voice.
“Oh, hyung! You’re back!” Jihoon greeted him.
“Yeah,”
“How was…y/n?” Junkyu asked, hesitating a bit when he said your name.
Jihoon wanted to giggle at his best friend’s shy attitude when it comes to matters concerning you, but he managed to hold himself from doing so.
“Ah, she’s fine. Oh! She said she’ll return your shirt to you soon, Junkyu-aa”
“She knows it’s my shirt??”
“Yeah, I told her so. Why?”
Junkyu shook his head, “nothing. I just—nothing.”
Hyunsuk looks around the living room, noticing the other younger members weren’t around and it seemed quiet in the house.
“Where are the kids?” He asked Jihoon.
“Oh, I think they’re in your room,”
“Wha--? Why? Ah, never mind that,” he said, deciding that he doesn’t mind it at all. “Anyways,” he added, making both of the ’00 liners look at him.
“Y/n said I was cute earlier,” he bragged, his grin showing on his face.
Jihoon’s eyes widened when he heard this. He immediately looks at Junkyu.
Junkyu frowned when he heard what his hyung said about you.
“A-aigoo, that’s normal! Y/n calls everyone cute!” Jihoon laughs awkwardly, afraid that whatever Hyunsuk said might hurt his best friend’s feelings.
Hyunsuk shook his head cutely, his smile still visible on his face. “This is different! She even bopped my nose, like this,” he said as he taps his finger on Junkyu’s nose.
Junkyu forced himself to smile back at his hyung who was still all giddily talking about you.
Jihoon sensed his friend’s dark aura exuding in the room so he tried his best to change the subject.
“Oh, hyung! Have you ever seen that documentary?? A Social Dilemma? I heard people say it’s good!”
Hyunsuk frowned at his friend, “I haven’t heard of it. And Jihoon, don’t interrupt me when I’m talking about y/n. Now where was I? Ah right, did you know? Y/n’s cheeks are so soft—”
Suddenly, Junkyu stood up.
Hyunsuk stopped talking since he was surprised by Junkyu’s action.
“I…I’m heading back to my room,” Junkyu said as he quickly leaves both his leaders.
Hyunsuk watched as Junkyu’s back disappeared into his room. “Huh…Junkyu seems…a bit down…”
Jihoon facepalmed and lets out a sigh. “Obviously, hyung. You need to read the room a little better next time,”
                                                                *
The weekend went by fast, dragging everyone back into their dreaded nightmare. Monday. You watched as everyone in the meeting room that your team has occupied since last week looked all demotivated and solemn.
“Hey, did everyone have a bad weekend or something? Why does everyone on your team look so down,” Chani whispered to you, as he leans close to you.
You turned to him and showed him a bored look as well. “The presentation…is taking wayyyy too long, Chani. Also, it’s Monday. Everybody hates Mondays,”
Chani rolled his eyes at you. “Puh-lease. I don’t hate Mondays. What’s with you all and the typical Monday blues. You’re all making it seem like Monday is the bad guy or something,”
You scowled at him and decided to just ignore him. You focused on the presentation being done by your team leader.
You watched as she presented the modules prepared by your company in such a classy and efficient manner. It matches her pretty face too, you thought. At times you wonder if Soomin herself knows how amazing of a person she is.
You rubbed your right eye, trying to shake off the tired feeling you felt. It’s not like you were tired by Soomin’s presentation though.
The truth was that, you had spent most of your weekend staring. Staring at the specific black tshirt that you had washed and dried and placed on the top part of your clothes rack.
It was Junkyu’s shirt. Junkyu’s. And you hadn’t even thanked him for it. You had tried drafting a short message on your phone but you couldn’t seem to press send. Why? Good question. Why?? You keep asking yourself this as well.
“I have a question,” one of YGE’s staff said as he raised his hand, interrupting your thoughts and also interrupting Soomin in the middle of her explanation.
“Oh? Uh, now?” Soomin asked back, perplexed that this staff actually had the nerve to interrupt her while she was presenting in front. Especially since everyone knows Soomin usually takes questions after whatever she presented was done.
“Yes, now.” The staff said firmly.
Bomin chuckled at his staff’s straightforwardness. “Alright then. Let’s hear your question since it seems to be so urgent. I’m pretty sure Ms. Soomin can answer whatever it is,” he says confidently as he nodded knowingly at Soomin.
Soomin shot him a glare instead, feeling upset that her very own best friend allowed that sort of behaviour from his own staff.
Soomin clicked her tongue. “Huh, sure. What was your question, sir?”
“Uh oh,” you mumbled to yourself.
“What, what?” Chani whispered to you when he heard you.
“Nothing…it’s just that, whenever Soomin clicks her tongue like that, it means that she’s annoyed,” you whispered back at him.
“Ahh, I see,” Chani said as he nods.
You watched the tension between Soomin, Bomin and the YG Staff increased in the room. Your team members were all focused on the meeting again now.
“Well, I’m just curious as to why we need to do these modules that you keep wasting your voice presenting on. Clearly it’s the same concept as those exercise books at the bookstores. Why should we, working people, commit to doing these modules? What, do you take us for high school students or something??” he laughed sarcastically after he asked this.
Soomin’s right eyebrow raised upon hearing this. She was clearly annoyed by this man’s question, you thought.
“It’s not the same. These modules were developed by our team yearly based on the feedback and analysis we did on our clients,” she answered back firmly.
“Pfft, I’ll say. I’m not letting this come out of my paycheck. This isn’t worth paying for,” the staff scoffed.
You felt your jaw tightened. Why is this man putting Soomin on the spot like that?? It’s unfair how he’s barking at her with his limited knowledge of your company’s planning for their staff.
“Huh, I see,” Soomin huffed. Everyone could see her expression has changed into anger at this point.
You noticed Soomin’s grip on the pen in her hand tightened.
Worried that the man would continue making her angry, you hurriedly stood up, surprising everyone in the room with your action.
“Miss Y/n? Is there something you need?” Bomin questioned you.
“If I may,” you said as you turned to look at your team leader, hoping she’d let you speak.
Soomin gave you a subtle nod. You nod back at her.
“If I may, sir. I’ll answer your questions regarding our modules from hereon.” You said, your heart pounding loudly now.
“Hah! A mere intern answering my questions! This should be interesting!” the man retorted sarcastically.
You bit the inside of your cheek, holding in your scowl. The nerve of this man! I’m not an intern! I’m a regular staff like the rest too!
You faked a smile at the man and decided to just explain back Soomin’s answers to his questions before this. “First of all, sir. I believe my team has emailed each and every one of you and your staff a copy of this module, right? Right, so if you did look through the module, you would know that the level of exercises we gave has a scaffolding technique in which you will be doing the exercises based on stages. And if you did read the module, you would know that the tips and notes given were all generated from our past analysis so you’d see how these notes aren’t accessible anywhere but from only our company.”
The man frowned at you, upset with your explanation that everyone including his team members agreed upon.
“Oh, right. I don’t know where you’ve been all this while but I clearly remember on the first day of our meeting we handed you all a contract form to be signed. And the contract clearly states that these modules were ordered by your company and not a single cent would be deducted from your salary. Oh but I guess you must have overlooked that part since you immediately signed without reading,” you added, a hint of sarcasm in your voice this time.
The room started talking all around, telling the man that you were right and that he should’ve minded his own business.
Soomin smiled at you, her tight expression softened as she was grateful you stood up to help her. Bomin shook his head as he watched everyone in the room talking out loud now.
Chani pulled you down to let you sit back in your chair beside him. He flashed you a proud smile. You smiled and nodded back at him.

YGE Building (Lunchtime – Rooftop balcony)
“You were so cool! How did you even have the courage to speak up?? Last I checked, you were the quiet and timid type,” Chani said as he spooned rice into his mouth.
“I couldn’t help it. That man was being horrid to my poor Soomin-eonnie,”
“Ugh, tell me about it. The whole team stinks,” Chani grimaced.
“Hey, you’re a part of that team too, you know,” you reminded him.
“Yeah but I’m just an intern. They’re all horrible twats, including Bomin-hyung,”
“Shh! Are you crazy!? You can’t just go around saying bad things about your team leader like that!” your eyes looked around, just in case anyone would hear him, although it was obvious only the two of you would have lunch in an open space like the balcony area.
“Nah, I ain’t scared of him or anyone here,” Chani said matter-of-factly as he takes a sip of his drink.
You shook your head at him as he grinned sheepishly at you, acting like what he said wasn’t serious at all.
                                                                 *
“Bomin-ssi, about today,” the staff that had stirred up the meeting earlier today said as he approached his team leader in his office.
“Today, my friend, you’ve really created a mess. You have no idea how hurt my best friend was,” Bomin said, leaning back into his swivel chair.
“I-I’m sorry. I just, I was annoyed with the program that’s all. Work was all tiring enough, and now we have to do exercises and modules??”
“That’s just something the company wants us to do. It’s for our own self-development too.” Bomin shot back.
“I know, and I’m sorry for making a scene today,”
“Hmm.”
“Oh, but the intern from today.” The staff said, referring to you.
“Hm? What about her?”
“She’s really something, huh? The way she answered was so efficient I almost thought she was doing a better job than Soomin-ssi does even though Soomin is their team leader!” he laughed a little saying this.
Bomin frowned upon hearing this.
Not realising that he had made Bomin more upset, the staff continued on. “We’re getting separated into groups starting tomorrow, right? I look forward to seeing the list. I must say, anyone who gets into that intern’s group would be really lucky, eh? She must be very good at guiding and teaching people.”
With that, the staff leaves Bomin’s office, leaving him alone to think further of what had happened today.
“Huh…” Bomin says to himself as an idea popped into his mind.
                                                                 *
YGE Building – 4th Floor (Meeting Room 6)
You entered the meeting room and looked around the room. The room wasn’t as big as the meeting rooms that you had always used with your team but you guessed it was okay since it could probably hold up around 5-6 people in the room.
Since you will be guiding some of the YG staffs for their exercises and modules for this whole week starting tomorrow, each person from your team was assigned with a particular meeting room. For your case though, you were the only person who had gotten the meeting room on 4th floor.
Closing the door behind you, you walk up towards the end part of the table, placing your bag onto the table. You leaned against the table and noticed that a huge mirror was placed opposite your view, making you notice that your full reflection was staring back at you from where you were standing.
You turned around and noticed the medium-sized whiteboard on the front end of the room, the air conditioner controller right beside the door, the bright white lights emitting from the ceiling…suddenly it hit you on what this room reminded you of.
Your eyes widened as you realised that the room reminded you of those interrogation rooms you’ve seen in the police movies you watched before this.
You shuddered from the realisation as it hit you. Shaking your head to yourself, you decided to step outside the room since being alone in here makes you feel a little scared.
You grabbed your phone with you and exited the door. Now you’re facing the railings that faced you to the open space below and the opposite side of you was the other part of the building facing you.
You leaned against the railings, facing the opposite part of the building and dialed onto your phone, texting Chani about the room you gotten for the groupings starting tomorrow.
 Chatroom (Chani and Y/n)
Y/N: The room looked like one of those interrogation room in those police movies. I feel like a criminal in question 🤡
Chani: LOL for real?? I’ll come visit you in a bit. Can’t wait to feel like a criminal 👀
Y/N: Bye, I’m blocking you for real this time 😒
You chuckled to yourself thinking about how Chani’s weird antics are always making you laugh. You let out a sigh and let yourself drift into your own thoughts again. You wondered how many staff you’d get to guide and tutor tomorrow… You couldn’t wait to start doing your job for real this time.
                                                                    *
On the other hand, while you were busy staring into space outside your meeting room, you didn’t realise the pair of eyes that were staring at you from the floor that was a level lower but oppositely facing you.
Junkyu rested his right hand against his chin, supporting it as he leaned in against the railings in front of him. Even from below here, he couldn’t help but feel his heart skip fast as he continues staring at you. He remembers Jihoon’s question the other day, when he was asked whether he likes you.
If he does like you, if what he was feeling all this while were him liking you, he wondered when did it all started at all? When did he really start catching feelings for you? To be honest he couldn’t even remember when he started feeling this way.
He blinked a couple times, his view not leaving your figure that was located on the floor above and directly opposite him. Your eyes were staring straight ahead but it looked like you were thinking about something.
“Y/n…” he whispers, the words being only audible for him to hear. “What if…I do like you?”
 To be continued…

A Little into You (Junkyu x Reader) (Ch. 14)
Chapter 14 - Watchers
Word count: 5.2k words
Genre: Fanfiction, PG13, Comedy, Romance.
A/N: Hi! Chapter 14 is here YAY! Hope you all enjoy reading this one, I missed you all here 🧡
YGE Building (PEWA Comms Team Tour)
“And if you look to your right, we have another unused meeting room, slightly smaller than the one we use—” Bomin said as he guided your team’s tour.
You were initially in the front side of the tour group but because you had to wait for Chani to tie up his shoelaces, the both of you ended up being at the back of the line.
“Oh? Another meeting room?? That’s the 6th one Bomin has showed us today,” you said.
“Yeah, but this one is hardly ever used. It’s kinda small. People say no one uses this because it fits around 5-6 people and that it’s just a small room with table, chairs and a random huge mirror covering half of the walls,” Chani explained.
“Huh, with this amount of meeting rooms you all have I’m not surprised that some rooms are unused at this point,”
Chani shrugged at your comment, not really caring about the tour to be honest.
“You, in the back,” Bomin called out to the both of you since you were both slightly far behind the tour group by now, “If you both are gonna dawdle, might was well do your own tour. I’m not going to repeat anything that I’ve said, so if you get lost or anything, that’s on you,” he warned before he proceeds walking in the front of the group.
“Sheesh, what’s he so cranky about? It’s not like I don’t know my way around here,” you heard Chani mumble to himself.
You kept quiet on your own, just wanting to focus on the tour and not get into trouble.
The group tour came upon the elevators, which means that everyone will have to split into two groups and take separate elevators to tour the fourth floor next.
While everyone was busy deciding which elevators they want to take, you felt a hand pulling you away from the crowd.
It happened so quick—one second you were with your tour group, few seconds later you were already pulled towards the door that was leading to the staircases.
Chani pushed the door open and pulled you with him inside.
He closed the door and lets go of your arm.
“Sorry if I pulled you away too roughly,” he apologised.
You were too surprised to speak, also confused as to why he separated you both from the tour group.
Chani lets out a loud sigh and sat down on the steps of the staircase that was facing the both of you.
You looked around you. The walls of the staircases were made of glass, which meant that people could see you both from below if they looked this way.
“C-chani. We should go back to the tour group,” you said to him.
Chani, who wasn’t looking you, lets out another sigh, “Nah, I think they’ve all boarded the elevators. You can take the staircase if you want to reach the fourth floor on time as them,”
You nodded and proceeded towards the steps where Chani was sitting.
You lifted one foot to step on it.
Your eyes landed on Chani whom was sitting beside where you were standing by now.
“Hey, you okay?” you decided to ask.
Chani kept quiet for a while, contemplating whether he should tell you what was on his mind.
You stood there, awkwardly, not sure how long you had to wait for him to say anything, really.
And just as you were about to open your mouth to tell him it’s okay for him not to tell you what he was feeling, Chani got up from the steps and stood in front of you.
“Hey, Y/n,” he said, facing you, his height making you lifting your head slightly to look into his eyes.
“Yeah?”
“Want to skip the tour? I mean, I can show you around without us joining the tour group,”
You looked away, thinking to yourself if this was a good idea.
But then Chani is an intern here, you thought. Surely he knows the way around this building, right?
“Hmm. I guess, having you as my tour guide wouldn’t exactly be a horrible idea…”
Chani smiled at this and was about to guide you out of the staircase room when you interrupted his actions,
“But—”
Chani stopped and tilt his head, waiting for what you were going to say.
“I will only join this tour you’re giving if you can make it fun and fast and make sure we reach where the others once they are done with their tour. Think you can handle that?”
“Hmm, sounds like a challenge,”
“Well, then—”
“Challenge accepted!” Chani beamed as he grabbed your wrist and pulled you with him to enter the main hall of the floor again.
                                                               *
 (Dance Practice Room / Treasure)
Hyunsuk lowered the volume of the music from their speakers. Turning around, he saw his members all panting and their skin all flushed from the dancing they did since the past hour.
“Okay, that’s an hour of non-stop dance practice! As promised, you’ll get an hour break before we practice for our second song,” Hyunsuk said to his friends.
All of them nodded at this.
Asahi immediately lays down on the cold floor, not moving since he was tired out from their intense practice earlier.
The rest of the boys hurried towards their bag, grabbing their drink and some grabbing their phones.
Jihoon walked up towards Hyunsuk, his phone in his hand.
“I think they did very well today, don’t you think so?” Hyunsuk said upon seeing his friend approaching him.
Taking a seat beside Hyunsuk on the cold floor, Jihoon hummed to his hyung’s question, “Yeah, I noticed everyone’s arms were almost in-sync with each other too,”
Hyunsuk smiled at this. He felt proud that their group was slowly but surely, growing really well.
“Ah, but I feel like something is off though,” Jihoon added in all of a sudden, making Hyunsuk turn his attention to his dongsaeng.
“Oh? Why? What is it?”
Jihoon shook his head. “Hmm, I’m not sure. But I feel like there’s something wrong with our kids today,”
Hyunsuk looked back at his members in front of him, all sprawled out on the cold floor, chatting and resting up with each other.
“Why so, Jihoon-aa? They look normal to me,”
“Well—”
Before Jihoon could answer his hyung’s question, Junghwan came up to Jihoon and Hyunsuk, an apologetic look on his face.
“Hyung…”
“Hm? What is it Junghwan-aa?” Hyunsuk asked.
“I uh, can I go to the restroom for a while?”
“Hm? Sure, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to go to the restroom,”
“Ah, okay, I’ll be right back, hyung,” Junghwan said as he hurried to leave the room.
But then, before he could step out of the doors of their practice room, he heard Jihoon’s voice calling him.
“Wait a minute, So Junghwan!”
Junghwan turned around, looking at his hyung’s face from afar since he was already in front of the practice room’s door.
“Come here,” Jihoon gestured for him to come back towards them.
Junghwan lets out a soft sigh and hurries towards his hyungs.
“What is it, hyung?”
“No, Hyunsuk-hyung, you see, this is the second time Junghwan’s been to the restroom in the last 2 hours we’ve been in this practice room,” Jihoon explained as Junghwan stood in front of them.
“Oh? Has it, really? I didn’t notice,” Hyunsuk said.
Junghwan could only smile at his hyungs at this point. Surely they didn’t notice, did they?
“But then again, I don’t see anything wrong with going to the restroom every hour though,” Hyunsuk added.
Junghwan nodded in agreement with his hyung.
Jihoon shook his head again at his hyung. “Yes, it wouldn’t be strange BUT if you noticed, Jaehyuk and Yedam have been to the restroom 3 times each since the last 2 hours too,”
Hyunsuk’s eyes widened in realisation by now. “Oh? Wait, really??”
Junghwan’s smile was slowly fading. He felt nervous now that Jihoon has realised his dormmates’ pattern of escaping practice today.
“Tell me, Junghwan, are you all escaping practice?” Jihoon asked their maknae, putting him on the spot.
“Pfft! What? No way! I have no idea what you’re talking about. I really need to use the restroom, hyung-aa,” he said slightly whining at this point.
“Aish, what are you saying, Jihoon? Let the kid go to the restroom. Besides, there’s no way our kids would ever skip practice. They’ve never done that before, you know that.” Hyunsuk said to Jihoon.
Jihoon lets out a sigh. “Okay, Junghwan, you’re free to leave the room,”
“Thank you hyung!” Junghwan said before running out of the room, a big grin on his face.
“Aigoo, Jihoon-aa. Don’t put our kids on the spot like that, pity them,”
“But hyung! Aren’t you concerned? They’ve used the restrooms more times than usual!”
Hyunsuk kept quiet for a while, thinking to himself.
“Could it be that they got sick after lunch earlier?” Hyunsuk asked, now feeling worried about his members.
“I’m not sure either—” Jihoon stopped when his eyes roamed the room and he noticed something.
“Wait, hyung—” Jihoon said. He stood up. “Hyung, why are there only the four of us here? When did the rest of them leave??”
Hyunsuk too, stood up when he realised that there was only him, Jihoon, Asahi and Junkyu in the room.
They both exchanged glances with each other.
“Could it be??” Hyunsuk said.
“Oh no, they better not!” Jihoon said, his face painted with worry.
Hyunsuk grabbed Jihoon’s arm and pulled him along as he heads towards the practice room door.
“Come on, Jihoon! We need to make sure they don’t get into trouble!”
                                                               *
“Oh, there’s y/n’s tour group!” Jaehyuk pointed out as he saw the group being led by Bomin not far from him.
Yedam, who was with him, looked over to see if he could see you were there.
“Huh, I can’t see y/n. She’s probably in the front of that group, huh,”
Jaehyuk nodded. “Yeah, and with her height, it’s impossible to see her over those tall people,” he snickered.
Both of them rest up against the handrails of the hall, looking over the tour group that was touring on the 3rd floor now, which was directly below them.
“By the way, do you think our leaders know that we’ve been out here keeping an eye out on y/n?”
“Nah, we make our trips to the restroom quick too, there’s no way they’d know.” Yedam said, full of confidence.
“True. I’m so glad we don’t have to rush back to practice now though,” Jaehyuk added.
“Yeah! At least we can watch over y/n for a little longer now,”
Now, the both of them were relaxing and just staring at the tour group below them when they heard a familiar voice.
“Yah! Chani, slow down! I did not agree for a running spree!”
“Hey, you said you wanted a quick tour, didn’t you?”
“Yeah, but I didn’t expect to run! I’m wearing heels for god’s sake!”
Chani laughed at your complaint. “Last one to reach the elevators, lose!” with that, Chani ran ahead of you, leaving you running on your own with the sound of your clacking heels.
Jaehyuk frowned to himself and turned to look at Yedam who was beside him. Yedam too, had a confused look on his face.
“Wait, doesn’t that sound like y/n?”
And sure enough, as if the universe wanted to answer him, they heard the clacking of your high heels running on the floor above them.
Yedam and Jaehyuk both lift their heads at the same time, hearing footsteps and high heels running from the floor above them.
“Wait, if y/n is up there with Chani…” Yedam said.
“…then that means, she and Chani escaped Bomin-hyung’s tour??”
“Oh no, this is bad. Hurry, Jaehyuk-hyung! We need to do something before they get into trouble!”
Jaehyuk pulled out his phone and dialed a phone number.
“Hello? Where are you right now? We need help,” he said into his phone.
                                                                *
“And there you go, the 4th floor,” Chani said as you both exited the elevators after the race that you both had earlier.
You stopped walking, catching your breath since you had to chase after Chani earlier. You felt your feet being sore from all the running you did in your heels.
“Ugh, this is the most tiring tour I’ve ever been to,” you groaned as you kneeled down to check on your sore feet.
Chani turned to you and grins, “Aw come on, you said you wanted it to be quick and fun—”
“Yeah I get it, I said that. But Chani oh my god, please, I beg—no more running please,”
Chani chuckles at your whine. “Fine, sure. We can roam this 4th floor at a slower pace since I’m pretty sure Bomin-hyung will be taking some time showing your team the 1st and lower floors,”
You showed him a thumbs-up and stood up properly, now feeling more rested and ready to continue your tour with him.
“Oh! This floor has some practice rooms too, so maybe we can check out one of them!” he said excitedly.
“Okay Chani,” you said, half-rolling your eyes at him since you know he probably wants to say hello to his celebrity friends in their practice rooms.
The both of you strolled through the hall, taking in the bright lights and clean-white paint on the walls of the grand building.
Your eyes glanced above, adoring the pretty, white lights that shone above the halls. You’ve always had a thing for bright lights (not the ones that sting your eyes—please) as it reminds you of the imagery of stars shining in the night sky.
“…only one room and we can tour the other floors next time, if you want,” Chani said.
He waited for your response but when you were quiet for a few seconds, he realised you weren’t saying anything to respond, so he glanced at you.
You were lost in your own thoughts, enjoying the pretty interior of the building, now that you were able to take in the sight slowly and not rushed as before.
Chani watched your expression, noticing how calm and happy you look at the moment. He smiled to himself, feeling glad that you weren’t regretting your choice of ditching the group’s tour earlier.
“Oh?” Chani said as he stopped in his tracks.
Chani stopping was what made you snap out of your thoughts and stopped your steps as well.
“Chani?” you asked.
“Oh? Oh, nothing. We can check this practice room here, y/n. I think this one’s unoccupied at the moment,” he said as he pointed at the door not far from the both of you.
“Sure,”
The both of you entered the huge, dark, practice room.
“Oof, it’s dark here,” you state the obvious.
“Duh, the lights are off,” Chani said as he walked over towards the light switch to switch the lights on.
As the lights turned on, Chani’s eyes were greeted with your scowl and he burst out laughing.
“What’s with that scowl on your face,” he said in between his laugh.
You rolled your eyes at him and turned away from him, “I know the lights had to be switched on, I was just saying the room was dark that’s all,”
Chani laughed again at your response. Shaking his head, he headed towards you.
The practice room had a large LCD screen on one side of the walls and the rest were covered with large mirrors, making the room look wider than it already was.
You saw your reflection in the mirror and you noticed your hair slightly messy from the running that you did before.
Walking up towards the mirror, you stared at your reflection and started fixing the strands of your hair that were messed up.
“You missed one here,” Chani said as he helped pull one strand to the back of your ear.
“Oh my god! Chani, don’t scare me like that!” you said as you turned around to face his grinning face.
“Ugh, what is it with you and getting scared easily?” he said in an annoyed tone, although he was smiling when he said this.
“I wasn’t scared. I was surprised. Get your facts right,” you said in the same annoyed tone as his.
“I think I heard you said you were ‘scared’ earlier though,”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “Fine, whatever.”
You took another look at yourself in the mirror and made sure that you looked all neat.
“So, where are we going next? Another practice room?” you asked the man that was already walking towards the centre of the room.
“Wow, you really weren’t listening, were you?”
You tilt your head and blinked a couple times, not understanding what he meant by that.
Chani chuckled at your expression. “I was saying that we could just tour one practice room and then head back to the others later. We could tour the rest of the lower floors next time. I mean, if that’s alright with you,”
“Huh…”
“I mean, at least we won’t have to keep on rushing and running around. Least I could do for your poor feet in those heels you keep mentioning since the start of our tour,”
“Hey! I’m not that girl from that Jurassic World movie, okay! I can’t run in heels as good as she does,” you huffed.
“Sure, y/n,” Chani smirks at you. “So? Last tour stop for the day?” he said as he spreads his arms, pointing at the room.
“Hmm, that’s not a bad idea I guess,” You said as you made your way towards him.
“Now…”
You looked at him questioningly, now that you were beside him.
Chani extended his hand at you, asking for your hand.
“What are you doing?” You said with a dumbfounded look on your face.
Chani snickered at you. “Wanna take a mirror selfie, Miss y/n?”
You scoffed at him, smiling a little at his dorky behaviour. “Gosh, you’re weird.”
“Hey, if the trainees and artists can take mirror selfies in their practice room, why can’t we, right?”
You rolled your eyes at him and placed your hand on his, accepting his gesture.
Chani pulled you close to him and just as he was about to take a picture of you both using his phone, THE WHOLE ROOM WENT DARK.
The both of you stopped what you were doing.
“Whoa, what?” You said, shocked with what happened.
“Stay here, I’ll go check the light switch,” Chani said.
“Whoa, no way! I ain’t staying here alone. Those who stay alone, die alone in zombie movies I tell ya,” you retort back at him and hurriedly followed behind him.
                                                                    *
“Did you think they saw us?” Doyoung said, half panting outside of the practice room you and Chani were in.
“Nope. I bet they were too shocked to even process what happened,” Jeongwoo said as he pat his hyung’s back, feeling proud of what he did.
Just then, Jaehyuk and Yedam were running towards them from the other end of the hall.
“Sorry for being late, we were upstairs since we thought they were still on the floor we last saw them,” Yedam said.
“What happened??” Jaehyuk asked, seeing that Doyoung and Jeongwoo looked as tired out as they were.
Doyoung and Jeongwoo exchanged looks with each other.
 Flashback (15 minutes earlier)
“How are we ever going to find both of them in this huge building??” Jeongwoo complained as he jogged through the hall with Doyoung beside him.
“I’m not sure either. When Jaehyuk-hyung called just now, he said they were on the floor above us,”
“Then shouldn’t we check the floor above??”
“I guess we could—”
Doyoung stopped talking as soon as he saw you and Chani exiting the elevators not far from him and Jeongwoo.
Doyoung immediately pulled Jeongwoo aside and made sure the both of them leaned against the wall, directly behind a pillar.
Both Doyoung and Jeongwoo waited quietly, as they heard your footsteps along with Chani’s approaching close to where they were.
Jeongwoo bit his bottom lip, silently praying that it wouldn’t be obvious that both him and Doyoung were stalking you.
“Sure,” you said as you followed Chani entering the practice room.
As soon as the doors closed behind you and Chani, Doyoung and Jeongwoo immediately went out of their hiding spot.
“What are they doing?? Why would they enter the practice room, alone??” Jeongwoo asked, now fully concerned about you.
“I don’t know! We can’t barge in on them, can we?” Doyoung asked him back.
“Should we take a peek?”
The both of them eyed the door handle for a moment, before deciding to just take a peek on what you and Chani were doing.
And surely, the moment they peeked through the door was the moment Chani had approached you while you were fixing your hair.
“Sheesh, look at him, being all touchy around y/n,” Jeongwoo grumbled.
Doyoung lifted his finger to his mouth, signalling Jeongwoo to keep his thoughts to himself.
Doyoung slowly slipped himself through the small opening of the door and hurried towards the light switch which was in the corner near the door, making it impossible for you and Chani to notice him there.
He turned to look at Jeongwoo who was still peeping through the door. His hand raised towards the main light switch.
Jeongwoo, who was watching over his hyung, shook his head at his hyung’s idea of switching the lights off.
But then, at the same time, both Doyoung and Jeongwoo turned their attention to you and saw Chani pulling you close to him.
And with that, without thinking any further, Doyoung immediately pressed the switch that made the whole room dark.
Jeongwoo backed away from the door, his hands covering his mouth in shock of what his hyung did.
Few seconds later Doyoung was already out of the room, his back resting against the doors and him panting after sprinting out of there.
End of flashback
“Whoaaa you guys are awesome!” Jaehyuk said happily to his dongsaengs.
“Oh? Wait, don’t you think they’d want to leave the room since the room mysteriously went dark??” Yedam asked.
Jeongwoo immediately turned to Doyoung, a panicked look on his face.
“Eyy, eyy, calm down everyone,” Doyoung said as he raised both his hands. He moved away from the doors and showed the door lock.
“See? The lock for this door is from the outside. I’ve locked it when I exited just now. No worries,” he said proudly.
Yedam, Jeongwoo and Jaehyuk all stared at Doyoung in amazement.
“Whoa! Doyoung, you’re truly a genius!” Yedam praised his dongsaeng, showing him a thumbs up.
As the four of them were happily praising one another, a familiar voice spoke to them.
“Just what exactly are you four doing here?”
The four of them turned around and saw Jihoon, Hyunsuk and Junghwan.
“Uh…” Doyoung said, not knowing how he should answer his hyungs.
“Sorry, hyung. They found out about our mission,” Junghwan said, pouting.
“Hah! Mission?” Jihoon laughed at his dongsaengs. “You mean, stalking y/n??”
“H-hey! We weren’t stalking! We were just…watching over her,” Jaehyuk whined.
“You guys…why are you all doing this?” Hyunsuk asked softly, not wanting them to think that he was mad at his dongsaengs or anything like that.
“Hyung! Listen, let me explain,” Jeongwoo stepped to the front, facing his hyungs directly.
“Aigoo, Jeongwoo-aa, I can’t believe you were in on this too,” Jihoon said in his nagging tone.
Jeongwoo shook his head and spoke again, “Nooooo, listennnnn. We did what we had to, okay? Chani was being touchy with Y/n!”
That made Hyunsuk, Jihoon and Junghwan all gasped out loud at the same time.
“T-touch?? You mean…they kissed??” Junghwan asked.
“Whoaaaaa, no, no! Not that far Junghwannie,” Doyoung assured his dongsaeng.
“J-just how…did he touch y/n?” Hyunsuk asked this time, concerned written on his face.
“You know, he touched her hair…pulled her close to him…” Doyoung said, his eyes looking up at the ceiling.
“So…basically the things we do with y/n as well??” Jihoon asked, stating the obvious fact that indeed what Chani did to you was no different than how the Treasure members treated you.
The four of them all avoided their hyung’s gaze, feeling bad for what they did and also for their paranoid behaviour.
Jihoon was about to open his mouth to say something when he noticed the door handles moving behind his friends.
“Okay but why are the door handles moving like that?”
Everyone’s eyes focused on the door handles moving.
“Oh, we locked y/n and Chani in there,” Doyoung said nonchalantly.
“Oh.” Jihoon nodded.
And then his eyes went wide, “WAIT WHAT??”
“Uhh, bye y’all, I was never a part of this,” Junghwan said as he ran off, leaving all his hyungs.
“Hey, Junghwan-aa, wait up!!” Jeongwoo said as he dashed off as well.
Doyoung, Jaehyuk and Yedam exchanged looks with each other.
“Nu uh, stay where you are,” Jihoon said as he walked up towards the door, unlocking it.
As soon as he unlocked it, Yedam, Jaehyuk and Doyoung immediately ran off in the same direction their dongsaengs had run off to.
“Yah! Come back here! I’m not done nagging at you all!” Jihoon said as he chased after them.
And just at that moment, Chani and you stepped out of the room, noticing Hyunsuk standing alone there.
“Hyunsuk-hyung! What are you doing here?” Chani asked happily when he saw his hyung there.
“Uh, n-nothing! I uh, I gotta go! Bye!” He immediately ran off, chasing after Jihoon.
You looked at the direction where Hyunsuk ran off to and simply shrugged.
“Huh, maybe they have some filming today,” Chani guessed.
“Hm, maybe.”
“Okay! That’s enough with the tour, I guess?” Chani said as he turned to you.
“You bet I want to end this tour. That room suddenly went dark and the doors being unable to be opened?? I’m telling you, Chani. This place is freaking haunted,” you shuddered.
Chani giggled at your statement. “Aigoo, you’re not scared, are you?” he asked, an eyebrow raising at you.
You shot him a glare. “I’m allowed to feel scared,”
Chani laughs at your serious expression and pinches your cheek, “Gosh, you’re so serious! I was just teasing you! Aigoo, what a cutie!”
“Hey, no, stop pinching my cheeks!” You said as you pushed his hands away from you, also half-smiling because you couldn’t stay mad at this silly fellow.
“Okay, okay, I’ll stop,” he grinned at you.
“So,” he wrapped his arm around your shoulder, “wanna head back to the top floor and wait for the rest of the tour group?”
“Okay but we cannot make it obvious that we ever left them, okay?” you reminded him.
“No problem, homie,”
This made you laughed again. You don’t know why, but every time you hear him say that word it made you want to crack up.
“Stop it, we’re not that close, ew!” you said in between your laughs.
Chani too, was grinning at you, until he saw another hyung that he knows approaching the both of you.
Chani greeted the two guys that were in front of you both by now, “Hyung! Hi! Are you all on a break?”
Your eyes looked up and saw…Asahi and Junkyu staring at the both of you.
You stopped laughing and noticed the cold expression on both of their faces.
Asahi nodded at Chani’s greeting, “Yeah, we’re taking a break from practice,”
“Aahh. Y/n and I have just finished our tour too! We’re heading back to the top floor now, take care hyung!” Chani said cheerfully. With that, he bowed slightly before pulling you with him to head for the elevators not far from where you all were.
Junkyu felt his nostrils burning from the fume that he was holding in. When he saw Chani wrapping his arms around you like that, it made him feel sort of furious. Which was ridiculous for him because why should he be angry at you?
What Junkyu doesn’t know is that, Asahi noticed his hyung’s dissatisfied look, and he even noticed Junkyu’s fist clenching.
Asahi followed Junkyu’s gaze that was sharply staring at you and Chani. A small smirk formed on Asahi’s lips, understanding what was going on with his hyung and you now.
                                                                 *
While the whole drama with you and Chani along with the Treasure members were going on at the floors above them, Yoshi, Haruto and Mashiho were spending their time at the convenience floor at the lower ground floor.
“Hyung, this one! This is the new flavour!” Haruto called out to Mashiho and Yoshi.
“Where?” Yoshi approached his younger friend and looked at the instant sseoteok cup he was holding.
Haruto held out the cup to his hyung, and Yoshi took it from his hands.
“Ahh, this one. I’ve tried it. It tastes…weird…”
“Weird?” Haruto looked at him.
“You know, like…slugs…”
Haruto stifled a laugh, “Hyung, you’ve eaten slugs before??”
“Ahh no, no! I meant—” Yoshi waved his hands, trying to explain himself.
“AAAAHHHHHHHH JUNGHWAN-AA DON’T LEAVE ME,” they heard a loud scream coming from the floors above them.
“What’s going on up there?” Mashiho, who was at the checkout counter asked.
Both Yoshi and Haruto shrugged at his question.
The three of them headed towards the entrance of the store and surely enough, they were able to see their friends in chaos, running around the 4th floor.
Their jaws fell when they saw how fast Jihoon was chasing after them, almost like a top athlete running a relay race.
“S-sparta 2.0,” Yoshi mumbled when he saw Jihoon sprinting towards his dongsaengs up there.
“Jihoon! Slow down! Kids! Don’t run!! You all might get hurt!” Hyunsuk yelled as he ran, a little far behind Jihoon.
“Whoa, I didn’t know we’re doing another runningman episode??” Mashiho asked, his face full of confusion.
The three of them looked at one another.
“AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!! YEDAM-HYUNG, RUN AWAY! JIHOON-HYUNG IS RIGHT BEHIND US!” This time they heard Junghwan’s loud scream.
“Oh? There’s Junkyu-hyung and Asahi-hyung,” Haruto pointed towards the other side of the open hall of the 4th floor. Both of them looked relaxed and were just watching the chase from afar.
“Wait, why aren’t they running??” Yoshi asked.
“Yah! Have they gotten caught?? Are we the only ones who didn’t know we have a TMAP filming today??” Mashiho asked, completely shocked and confused by the second.
The three of them ran towards the side where Asahi and Junkyu were standing from.
“Hyung! Are we filming today??” Mashiho called out from below towards Junkyu who was above them.
Junkyu furrowed his eyebrows, not really able to hear Mashiho since the screams and yellings from the other side of the floor was too loud. “What?? Pink toenails??” he asked back.
“He said, did we have a TMAP shooting today??” Haruto yelled with his deep voice.
“Ahhh. Noooo! They’re just having a chase, that’s all!” Junkyu yelled back at his dongsaengs below.
The three of them looked over at the other side in confusion.
“Chase? Aw man, why didn’t they invite us to play with them??” Yoshi complained.
 To be continued…

Treasure Scenario (Mashiho)
A/n: Hello hi everyone! Here’s Mashiho’s scenario! I think this scenario is one of the longest that I’ve wrote so far too ^^. I’m sorry for the delay in my JunkyuxReader fic too T^T Hope this is enough to make it up for you guys <3 Enjoy! 🧡
Scenario: You were watching a movie with your boyfriend, Mashiho, when you started to cry.
Word count: 1.5k words
“Mashi hurry! We’re going to be late to the movies!” You urged your boyfriend, Mashiho who was still casually grabbing his bag on the sofa.
Mashiho chuckled, seeing you all pumped up and excited to leave immediately when in truth, the movie would start in another 40 minutes. “Wait a minute jagi, we need to make sure everything is brought okay?” he said with a smile on his face.
You pouted. “I knowww but I also know that if I ever forget anything, I’d have you to count on,” you said.
Mashiho was finally heading towards you and the front door. You were about to walk out the front door when he pulled you into his arms, hugging you from your back.
“W-what is it Mashi?” You stuttered, surprised by his action.
Mashi leaned his head on your shoulder, his breath tickling your ears. You could hear him grinning in your ear with this. “Turn around, y/n,” he said.
Feeling confused, you listened to your boyfriend and turned around to face him. Your eyes met his, and you felt yourself blushing from his stare.
Mashiho smiled softly at you and held one of your hands in his.
“Mashi babe, as much as I love you and your romantic gestures, we really don’t have time for this.”
A grin formed on Mashiho’s gentle expression. “I’m not wasting our time. You are, jagi,”
“Huh? What?”
“Open your bag y/n,” he said, his grin still visible on his face.
You narrowed your eyes at your boyfriend and pulled your hand out of his hold, wanting to open your bag and see what was in it.
Gasp! You heard yourself gasped. “My phone! It’s not here! I gotta go get it—”
Before you could dash off inside, again, Mashiho grabbed your waist to stop you. You could hear his cute laugh emitting behind you now.
Your head turned to look at him again. “What? Omg why, what did I do now?” you asked in a whiny tone.
“I told you to check your belongings, didn’t I?” Shaking his head, still smiling, Mashiho pulled out your phone from his back pocket and handed it to you. “This was on the sofa.”
Pouting, you snatched the phone from your boyfriend’s hand and kept it inside your bag hastily. You hurriedly pulled him out of the front door of his dorm and locked the door behind the both of you.
“I get it, I’ll be more careful next time jagi! Now let’s leave for the movies!” You said as the both of you ran to catch a cab before you guys are late to the movies.
                                                               *
You both are now in the cinema, watching this sappy romantic comedy movie, in which you both laughed a lot while watching (but of course, these kinds of movies often start off happily), and even though Mashiho wasn’t exactly a huge fan of these movies, you were able to persuade him to watch it with you.
Once in a while your eyes would steal a glance at your boyfriend who was sitting on your right, making sure that he was enjoying the movie as much as you do.
Mashiho laughed at a couple of scenes and this made you feel really glad that he was having a good time genuinely and not just watching the movie for your sake.
You felt happy, hands intertwining with his, hearing his cheerful laugh beside you. You kinda wished that the moment wouldn’t end for you both today. Unfortunately for your part though, you were too busy checking on Mashiho that you didn’t realise you have been missing out on a couple of scenes.
By the time you were fully tuned in on the movie, it was already a scene that hits you right in the feels. It was a fighting scene between the main couple in the movie and both the actor and actress were crying like crazy.
This particular scene reminded you of your fight with your ex-boyfriend years ago, the one you dated before you met Mashiho. You had always been a submissive girlfriend, letting your ex have full control on how you should behave, how you should dress, when or where you were allowed to express your feelings—all those things eventually made you his living doll. It was only after you dated him for 2 years you realised that these were all toxic traits coming from him. It took all of your strength to end everything with your ex and cut him off from your life; also, half a year worth of tears of course.
“DON’T YOU DARE SAY THAT. NO ONE WOULD LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS I DO. WITHOUT ME, YOU’RE JUST A WORTHLESS BEING.”
Your eyes widened. Mashiho felt your grip on him tightened. You felt your breath hitched in your throat. Those words….those words were the exact lines your ex used to say whenever you both fought.
It feels crazy how those words could shake you like this. The actress was crying and screaming in the screen, and without realising, tears were flowing down your cheeks too.
“y/n? y/n are you okay? Jagi?” you heard Mashiho’s voice pulling you back to reality. Your hand wiped the tears on your cheeks. You took a deep breath before turning to your boyfriend beside you.
“Yeah?” you said, weakly.
“Hey…you seem…I was worried…” in which he genuinely did look worried. You could see slight creases on Mashiho’s forehead. He was holding your hands in his tightly, planting kisses every now and then on your hands.
You shook your head. “It’s nothing. I just, had some flashbacks that was all.”
Mashiho leaned in towards you and rested his forehead against yours. “You wanna get out of here, jagi?” he asked in a whisper.
You nodded and he immediately grabbed both your bag and his, guiding the both of you out of the dark cinema hall.
                                                               *
You were both now outside on the streets, walking past shops as the Sun shine brightly above the both of you. Mashiho’s hands are still holding yours tightly, not letting go of you for even a brief second whilst you both walk straight ahead without saying anything.
Feeling that it was too quiet, you opened your mouth to say something to your boyfriend, “Mashi, I—”
Mashiho interrupted you by stopping in his tracks and immediately pulling you into a hug.
“M-mashi, we’re in the middle of the streets,” you tried to pull away from him, but this only made his arms around your waist grew tighter.
Mashi pulled your head to rest against his shoulder, his other hand gently stroking your back. “Sshh, it’s okay jagi, it’s okay. I love you, I love you so much y/n.”
You felt your lips tremble. Unintentionally, tears began to flow down your cheeks again. Your hands grip his back tightly, trying hard not to let your whole body shake as you started sobbing.
“Sshhh there, there. I love you so much. Everything’s okay now. I won’t leave you, y/n.” he said softly in your ears, trying to calm you down.
You nodded your head against him. After a whole good 5 minutes of intense crying, you slowly began to control your breathing. Mashiho’s hand was still stroking the back of your head.
You pulled your head away from him and looked up into his bright eyes, lined with concern this time. Wiping your tears with the back of your own hand, you tried to give him a smile; a weak one at that.
Mashiho’s expression softened. A gentle smile formed on his handsome face. “You feeling better now, jagi?”
You gave him a light nod. “I’m sorry…I was just…my ex back then…” you couldn’t really put into words about what happened before you met Mashiho. You’ve always thought you had moved on but the particular scene in the movie really hit you hard.
Mashiho placed a hand onto your head again, this time patting it several times before saying, “It’s okay jagi, I understand.”
Your eyes looked into his again, searching, hoping that you didn’t offend him in any way for mentioning about your ex.
His gentle smile was plastered on his face. He leaned in and kissed you on your forehead. “Come on, let’s get some food and we can just get cosied and eat while we watch videos at home. Sound good for you jagi?”
You felt your heart swell at Mashiho’s genuine gentle treatment and care towards you. You smiled wider this time and nodded happily at his suggestion.
Mashiho took hold of your hand and intertwines it with his, leading you both towards the shop he wanted to bring you to. “And while we eat, you can tell me everything about that jerk you dated back then. He’s got nerve making my girl cry like that, and until today too, he literally wrecked your heart up didn’t he, jagi?” he mumbled, sounding slightly furious.
You nodded quietly, in which you knew he wasn’t even looking at you since he was busy guiding the both of you.
Suddenly, Mashiho stopped in his tracks, making you almost bump into his back. He turned around swiftly and looked at your confused face. His usual bright smile was there again, “You know what y/n, you’re the most wonderful person I have ever met. I love you so much!” he leaned in to kiss your cheek before pulling you with him to get food at the shop nearby.

A Little into You (Junkyu x Reader) (Ch. 6)
Chapter 6 - I Got You.
Word count: 3.6k words
Genre: Fanfiction, PG13, Comedy, Romance.
A/N: Hi! Here’s the promised Chapter 6! I enjoy comedies so yeah...as you can see I tend to add lame puns and jokes in my stories so fhdhdh T^T but yeah! I hope you guys enjoy this chapter and take care always! 🥰🧡✨
Your eyes widened. “H-Hyunsuk-ssi,” you said softly.
Hyunsuk nodded and smiled brightly at you. “Yes! It’s me! Oh my god it’s been a while!”
You blinked a few times, in hopes that this was just a dream but the more you blink, he’s still there right in front of you. You swallowed the lump in your throat.
“I..uh—” you tried to say something, but suddenly your mind went blank.
Hyunsuk was still smiling widely. He looked super happy seeing you right in front of him now.
“Hyungggg come on, just put that back. Seven is enough!” your head turned to see a guy half-yelling at another guy in front of the chiller.
“Oh, that’s Jeongwoo and Jaehyuk, arguing about banana milk,” Hyunsuk said, as he noticed your eyes looking at them on the other side of the shop.
You looked down for a second and looked up at Hyunsuk’s face again this time. You tried to think of something to say, but what? “Sorry for making a mess out of your management?” “Please don’t sue me,”??
Hyunsuk noticed you looking at him but you also looked like you were thinking of something else. “Hey…are you okay?” his face lined with worry now.
You snapped out of your own thoughts, focusing on this boy in front of you. “What? Oh no…no, yeah, I’m all good,” you tried to give him a reassuring smile. You shuffle towards the table that you usually sit at in the shop.
Taking a seat, you gestured Hyunsuk to sit as well, in which he followed as he pulled out the chair sitting opposite of you.
You placed your newly bought ramyeon bowl onto the table, along with your tote bag. “So…”
“You don’t look too happy to see me again,” Hyunsuk said.
“What? Oh my god no! I mean, yes, I am happy to see you! It’s been, what? a week? Or more? Yeah no, I am…happy…”
“Hmm…I’m not buying it. You don’t look happy. It’s written all over your face,”
You panicked on the inside. Have you offended Hyunsuk? You blinked a couple times more, trying to process what was really going on right now.
“Look, I’m sorry if I bothered you. I guess I bumped into you at the wrong time,” Hyunsuk said, his face looking like he really felt bad for talking to you.
“Wait!” Without realising, your hands had reached out to his arms’ sleeve. “No…no, stay for a bit. I should be the one saying sorry, Hyunsuk.”
Hyunsuk tilts his head slightly. “Eh? Why?”
“I…I’m sorry if what I did caused a ruckus for you and your group...”
Hyunsuk looked at you confusedly. What were you rambling about? Sorry? “Wait, what? You’re sorry?? Gosh, I should be the one saying sorry!”
This time, you’re the one that’s confused. “You? Sorry? Why??”
Hyunsuk looked back at his dongsaengs who were already heading towards the payment counter with a basket halfway filled with Jaehyuk’s favourite banana milk. He shook his head.
Turning back his attention to you who was still looking at him questioningly, waiting for what he’s going to say, a soft smile formed on his lips. “I heard from Jeongwoo that you ran away from him while he was trying to call me last time,”
“Huh? Wait, which encounter is that? I mean…I met him twice, I think?”
“He told us all about what happened at the trash container of the apartment.”
You scoffed. “Well, what a tatter-tale.” You pouted. “It’s not fair, he actually told all of you about what happened whilst I have been keeping my mouth shut about meeting you guys,”
Hyunsuk smiled his charming smile at you and leaned in closer to your face, “Why? Did you want to go around telling people that you met the famous Kpop group, Treasure?” he said in a teasing tone.
You leaned back into your chair, noticing that Hyunsuk’s face was quite close to yours. “What? No! I told Jeongwoo that I had no intention of telling anyone about any of our encounters. Why are you all so paranoid about what someone like me has to say?”
Hyunsuk laughed at your response. “I was just teasing you! Gosh, you’re kinda cute, aren’t you?”
Hyunsuk leaned back in his seat as well, “But what you did really hurt Jeongwoo, you know? He was really upset when you ran off from him the other day,”
“Look, I had no idea he was calling you. For all I know, he could be calling your lawyers, or worst—THE POLICE!”
Hyunsuk laughed out loud at this. This time, Jeongwoo and Jaehyuk was already by his side, carrying a paper bag filled with banana milk.
“What, what’s so funny? What did we miss?” Jaehyuk chimed in.
Your eyes glanced over his, then to Jeongwoo, in which, made you look away instantly, feeling embarrassed that you’re always meeting him in awkward situations like now.
Jeongwoo placed a hand over Hyunsuk’s shoulder, making Hyunsuk’s laugh slowly faltering.
“I’m sorry, I was just laughing at—wait, I never got your name. What’s your name, again?” Hyunsuk asked, suddenly realising that he had been talking to you without asking for your name (again).
“It’s…y/n…” you answered softly.
“Right! Y/n! So yeah, Jeongwoo-aa, did you know why y/n here ran off from you the other day?”
Jeongwoo shook his head. “No…I mean, I just wanted to call you hyung, I have no idea what her deal was,”
Hyunsuk laughed again, “See, so you see, y/n here, thought that you were calling some lawyers or police!” He got enveloped by his own laugh again this time.
Jeongwoo chuckled. “What?! Gosh y/n-ssi, what in the world?”
You rolled your eyes at them. Not only were they laughing at you, they were already talking to you casually as if you’re already friends with them.
Jaehyuk gave you a friendly smile and extended his hand to you, “Ignore them, they get humoured by everything apparently. I’m Jaehyuk, by the way. Nice to meet you, y/n-ssi.”
You exchanged handshakes with Jaehyuk and smiled at him. “It’s nice meeting you too, Jaehyuk-ssi.”
“Oh, and thanks for the banana uyu last time. Jeongwoo told us you gave it to him free of charge too.”
“Oh, that’s no biggie. He looked like he really needed one at the time,” you smiled. You looked at Jeongwoo and Hyunsuk who had already stopped laughing by now. “So…it seems that I don’t know much about you guys personally but from what I can tell here is that…Jeongwoo is quite the tatter-tale in the group, huh?”
Hyunsuk and Jaehyuk exchanged glances and held in their giggles, seeing that Jeongwoo’s face was turning red from what you said.
“Hey! In my defence, our encounters were always so random and full of surprises! I can’t not tell my close friends about what happened,”
You smirked at him, “Yeah sure, all 12 of them, right?”
Hyunsuk spoke up, “Well, let’s just say we’re all family. We barely keep stuff from each other,” he said proudly.
“Wait- so they know?? They all know about our first encounter??” Your eyes widened.
“Huh? Why? What happened when you both first met?” Jaehyuk asked, confusion written on his face.
Your eyes widened. That’s it! They don’t know yet! Your eyes landed onto Hyunsuk’s and there he was smiling cheekily at you, almost like he knew what you were thinking of.
“Oh, that.” Hyunsuk said in a matter-of-fact tone, but his eyes were still focused on your expressions.
Your panic grew inside of you. This man, this man is going to tell them, isn’t he?
Almost on cue with your thoughts, Hyunsuk opened his mouth to say, “Well actually, me and y/n met—”
You shut your eyes tightly. You waited for him to continue his words but suddenly everything went silent.
Wait, what?
You opened your eyes to see Jeongwoo and Jaehyuk looking at you with eyes wide open, their jaws dropping. You wondered why they were both looking at you like that.
That was when you realised, your palm was placed against Hyunsuk’s mouth.
“Oh my god! I’m so sorry!” You said as you pulled your hand back to yourself.
It seemed that you were so terrified of him telling the others about your first encounter, your hand had reflectively covered his mouth before he could further share his story—while your eyes were closed earlier.
Both Jaehyuk and Jeongwoo exchanged looks with each other. They wondered what Hyunsuk thought of what you did, and wondered if you had crossed a line.
However, their worries eased when they heard Hyunsuk chuckle at your clumsy reaction earlier.
“Gosh…you’re a hilarious person y/n. I think we’ll be great friends,” Hyunsuk said as he grinned at you.
You felt your cheeks heat up. “W-what? Friends?”
“Yeah! In fact, here, give me your digits. We can hang with the rest of the gang one day,” he said happily as he passed his phone to you.
“I- what?” you asked, clearly confused at what was going on. Hyunsuk is asking for my number? This can’t be real.
“Hyung, is this okay?” Jeongwoo asked, his voice sounding concerned at what his hyung is doing.
“Aishh it’s fine. It’s not like we’re dating, right, y/n?” Hyunsuk asked you with a smile.
“Uhh yeah, that’s true.” You felt confident in giving him your number now that you were convinced that he won’t get into any trouble because of this. You took the phone from his hand and keyed in your number, saving it under your name as well.
You passed the phone back to him, in which he received with a satisfied look. “Great! I’ll text you if we all can hang together!”
“Yeah, sure Hyunsuk-ssi,” you responded, now feeling humoured that this man in front of you was being all excited about being friends with a nobody like you. “So uh, are you guys—”
Jaehyuk’s phone rang before you could finish your question.
Jaehyuk fished out the ringing phone from his pants pocket. As soon as he saw the name on the screen, he immediately answers the call, “Yes, hyung! What? No…no, I bought enough!” he grinned at the rest of you and you saw Jeongwoo rolling his eyes slightly at his hyung.
“Oh? Now? Yes~ Yes~ No, I’m not lying, hyungggg. I didn’t overbuy it! Yes~ I’ll see you later~” with that, Jaehyuk ended the call on his phone.
“Let me guess, Jihoon?” Hyunsuk asked.
Jaehyuk smiled and nodded at this.
“Oh? Do you guys have to go back to practice or something?” You asked this time.
Jaehyuk, still with his stiff smile, nodded at you. “So…uh…Jihoon also said that he would do a count-check to make sure I didn’t buy too much banana milk…”
Seeing Jaehyuk’s nervous smile, the three of you looked at the big paper bag in his arms.
“I told you not to take too much, hyung! You never listen!” Jeongwoo nagged at Jaehyuk.
“How could I resist huh, Jeongwoo-yaa! They sell a lot of it here. It’s not easy to get this drink nowadays!” Jaehyuk whined back at him.
“Jaehyuk-aa, just how many did you buy?” Hyunsuk asked, looking concerned.
“Not many…”
“Come on, hyung. Don’t be like that. Just tell Hyunsuk-hyung how many you bought,” Jeongwoo persuaded him.
Jaehyuk lets out a sigh. “Fine. I bought seven…”
“Aw hey, that’s not too many—” you said.
“-teen. I bought seventeen…”
Your eyes widened at this. “S-seventeen? Seventeen bottles of banana milk??”
Jeongwoo grabbed a bottle of banana milk from Jaehyuk’s paperbag and passed it to you, “Here, y/n! This is to pay back for the one you gave us last time!”
You grabbed it without thinking much. “T-thank you?”
“Yahh what are you doing?!”
Jeongwoo shrugged. “Hey, I’m just helping you out. You don’t want to hear him nag at you, do you?”
Jaehyuk and Hyunsuk went silent for a while, thinking on how to save Jaehyuk from getting nagged at for not listening to his hyungs’ advice on not to buy too many banana milks.
“Jaehyuk-aa…I told you, didn’t I? Seven was enough for one milk a day, right?” Hyunsuk said.
“Yes…”
You could feel the heavy vibe in the store now. But it was kind of true, seventeen bottles of banana milk for a week’s supply…for one person…is kind of too much…You bit your lower lip and looked around the store in case you’d find a solution for them if you look around.
Without you realising, Hyunsuk, Jaehyuk and Jeongwoo were all staring at you. The three of them exchanged knowing looks with each other, probably silently telepathing one another about asking for your help.
Jeongwoo nudged Jaehyuk with his elbow. He signalled Jaehyuk to talk to you with his eyes.
“Y/n-ssi…”
Your head turned to face Jaehyuk’s pitiful expression staring at you.
“What is it Jaehyuk-ssi?”
“Just this once, please…” he pressed both his palms together, making a pleading gesture towards you.
“Oh no…what is it this time…” you asked, an unsure tone in your voice.
“Please! Please, just this once, I’m asking for your help,” Jaehyuk whined with his sweet mellow voice, making puppy eyes at you—in which you couldn’t deny that he really did look cute doing so.
“Oh my god, you’ve got to be kidding me,” was all you could say.
“Y/n-ssi! Please!” Jeongwoo said loudly in all of a sudden. His head bowed low and his hands were balled into fists, almost like he was really desperate of asking for help as well.
Hyunsuk too, chimed in before you could respond to Jeongwoo. “Y/n, will it be fine with you, if you help us this once? Think of us as your close friends in need of dire help. Please? Jihoon would be so angry if he finds out our Jaehyuk here overbought the banana milk.”
You stared at each one of them. All, giving you pleading looks, all blinking their attractive puppy eyes at you. You let out a loud sigh, “Okay fine. What do you need me to do?”
                                                              *
“What took you all so long down there? I swear, every time you boys go to that convenience store, it’s almost like you all were building the store instead of buying anything,” Jihoon nagged as soon as he saw the three boys enter their practice room.
Jaehyuk grinned at his hyung, his arm still hugging the paper bag containing his banana milks. He made his way to the corner of the room and placed the paper bag down onto the floor.
Jeongwoo and Hyunsuk on the other hand had started doing their warmups the moment they entered the practice room.
Jihoon walked over towards Jaehyuk and kneeled near the paper bag on the floor. He grins at his friend, his finger hooking onto the paper bag. “So Jaehyukkie, let’s see if you managed to control your urges today shall we~?” he said in a singsong tune.
Jaehyuk nodded confidently at his hyung. Feeling confident that he won’t get any scolding today from Jihoon.
“Oh? Only 6 bottles? Yahh well done our Jaehyukkie!” Jihoon exclaimed loudly, making everyone in the room turning their heads to look at the two of them.
“Wow, that really is a huge improvement hyung!” Yedam said, slightly surprised that Jaehyuk didn’t overbuy his stock of banana milk this one time.
“What? Really?? Jaehyuk really managed to buy only 6 banana milks?!” Junkyu asked in disbelief.
“Eyy hyung, have faith in our Jaehyuk-hyung. He really did his best down there. And of course,” Jeongwoo stops talking halfway to clear his throat. “Of course, it’s also thanks to my debating skills he listened to what I said,” he continued.
Jaehyuk rolled his eyes slightly at his dongsaeng’s statement. “Nu uh, I really managed to stop myself thanks to myself okay,”
Asahi on the other hand was with Junkyu, still peeking into the paper bag since they find it hard to believe that Jaehyuk managed to control his addiction to banana milk.
Asahi counted the bottles several times, finally admitting that it was indeed true there were only six bottles, “Huh…six seems like an odd number to buy for you Jaehyuk-aa,” he said as he turned to look at Jaehyuk who was now a few feet away from him and the paper bag.
Jaehyuk smiled innocently at Asahi. He gave Asahi a little shrug and walked towards the middle of the room.
“Just how many did you drink down there?” Asahi prodded. This made Jaehyuk stopped in his steps.
“W-what? I didn’t drink any! I swear, you can even smell my breath right now to check,” Jaehyuk responded.
This time, Hyunsuk chimed in to save Jaehyuk from getting speculated by all of their members. “Aw hey, hey. There’s no need to interrogate him like that. It’s no big deal. He bought a small amount of milk this time, there’s no harm in that, right?”
The whole room fell silent for a while.
Suddenly Jihoon said loudly, “OMG HYUNSUK AND JEONGWOO WON’T STOP DEFENDING JAEHYUK! THEY’RE HIDING SOMETHING!”
Doyoung and Junkyu started rummaging through the paper bag again, seeing that Jeongwoo, Hyunsuk and Jaehyuk were all speechless from Jihoon’s exclamation earlier.
“I knew something was off! Seeing Hyunsuk defending them like that, it’s just obvious they’re hiding stuff from us!” Doyoung said as him and Junkyu inspected each of the bottles in the paper bag.
“Hyungggg why are we wasting time like thisssss,” Jaehyuk whined at Jihoon. “Shouldn’t we just move on and just get to practice already?”
“Ahh but this is more fun, isn’t it?” Jihoon winked at Jaehyuk.
Jaehyuk groaned at this. He went to another corner of the room and sat there with a pout on his face. Hyunsuk, Jeongwoo and Yedam went over to him to comfort him.
Jihoon smiled cheekily at his friends, “Aw don’t worry Jaehyuk. I’m not mad at anyone. I’m just bored and I feel like uncovering the lie you three made would be fun,”
“I FOUND IT!” Junkyu shouted not far behind Jihoon.
Jihoon turned around to see what Junkyu was holding on to.
“This! It’s a receipt!” Junkyu waved the small, slightly crumpled up paper in the air.
Jaehyuk facepalmed himself, realising that he had made a stupid move of forgetting to throw the receipt away earlier. Jeongwoo kept rubbing his back, feeling sorry for his hyung.
Jihoon on the other hand was already beside Junkyu, trying to read what the receipt says.
“Huh, it is indeed today’s date and the convenience store outside there,” Junkyu said.
“Yeah, and here it is! Banana milks, seventeen bottles,” Jihoon read as well.
Again, there was a silent moment in the practice room. Jaehyuk, Yedam, Jeongwoo and Hyunsuk looked at one another, not knowing whether they should say anything.
Jihoon puts the receipt into the paper bag and headed towards the middle of the room, “Aw that’s not too bad—I mean, he only bought sevent—” he stopped talking when he realised the truth.
He spun around quickly and headed towards the paper bag again, “WAIT! SEVENTEEN?? LITERALLY SEVEN-TEEN??”
Hyunsuk pats Jaehyuk’s head in sympathy. “Yeah…he bought seventeen…”
“Huh…”
Suddenly, Jihoon bursted out laughing loudly. He kept laughing until he was almost rolling on the floor. Junghwan went over to help Jihoon from falling to the floor.
“What? What’s so funny Jihoon-aa?” Junkyu looked at him, all confused at why his best friend was laughing like a maniac.
“Omg! Seventeen! That’s A LOT!” Jihoon managed to say in between his laughs.
The rest of the Treasure members all looked at each other. They were worried if something happened to their leader since he was laughing uncontrollably by himself.
“Ahh,” Jihoon said as he wiped the tear stain on his cheek as soon as he finished laughing. He realised that most of his members were staring at him with a lost look on their faces.
“Oh come on, why am I always the only person who finds these things funny??”
The rest of them shrugged at him.
“What’s so funny though, hyung?” Haruto asked.
Jihoon lets out a chuckle. “Oh, I mean, it’s funny that our Jaehyukkie here tried to trick us into thinking that he bought a small amount of milk when in reality he bought TWICE the amount he showed us.”
“Yeah man, seventeen is a lot,” Junkyu added.
“Wait, if he really bought seventeen bottles, what happened to the remaining nine bottles??” Doyoung wondered aloud.
All of them fell silent and once again, looked at each other seriously.
“Uh oh…do you think everyone will find out about y/n now?” Hyunsuk whispered towards Jeongwoo.
                                                               *
You sighed as you finished arranging the last bottle of banana milk onto the shelf in your fridge. It almost looked like you were selling banana milks now considering it has taken this much space in your small fridge.
You stared at the pale-yellow bottles lined up in there.
Sighing again, you took out your phone to snap a picture of the milks arranged in your fridge. Snap! Your fingers typed a message along with the picture before sending it to the person who got you into this mess.

Done and sorted. It’s taking so much space in my fridge now lol.
You kept your phone back into your pocket once you’ve sent the message out. You closed the door of your fridge and headed towards the sofa in your living room.
Crashing down onto the sofa, you closed your eyes and fell asleep in a blink of an eye.
 To be continued…
