So you already closed off the door in which the show used to send Will to the Baltimore State Hospital For The Criminally Insane after being framed as the "Copycat Killer", aka Mimsy. Since the team has already figured out Mimsy was the copycat they can't arrest Vox for it. It's been awhile since I watched the show, but I think why Hannibal helped framed Will was because Will had an 'lightbulb,' moment and figured out who the killer was but Hannibal had fallen far enough down that Will was on the 'I cannot kill him,' list so locking him up was the better choice. He did make it better and with another victim of his took credit for the copycat's victims, so Will got released.

i cant tell if you guys are more insane (lovingly) for watching this show and recommending me it or if im more insane for deciding to watch it and write a fic off it (this is a lie i knew i was the more insane one. sorry nonny)
