Are you happy with how your favorite canon muse was portrayed in canon?

How far do go with divergencies when it comes to your canon muse?

1 — talking about Ozzie, specifically, yes and no. I'll be extremely unhappy if he's just here for this little bit as "fantastic bf" and no other supportive/antihero role. they started off so strong introducing him and Fizz to the audience - it would be a turn off to just drop them in the new season.

I don't think his "full demon form" is his true form. I see that as like a form. I like it but for me, he uses that form to threaten and usually it works well and deters opposing threats from trying anything with him. AND ... hearing him be called the weakest Sin stings me/simultaneously fuels me to tell a story of how he isn't weak and if he is, it's by his own doing and choice to improve the quality of his ring. a qualified king. PLUS. the insult could also just be passed as a taunt from Crimson.

so. let me live a little delulu-ishly. I'll show u guys Ozzie.

2 — to put it bluntly, if I don't like it — it didn't happen and I'm taking custody. it mainly depends on how much source material there is to work with, too. I've given my seemingly powerful/resilient muses disabilities before, to show that they can persevere even with "the odds against them".

if there's "irl" references or "inspired" pieces to a character I write in other stories that aren't "connected" to the one I write, I'll intergrade headcanons if the ideas come and fit nicely. I don't try to stray too far from the original canon for the sake of them being recognizable to anyone but who doesn't go crazy on headcanon divergence? that's half the fun.

i was thinking about you (and ovipos!morax...again) earlier, and i just want you to know that your writing inspires me to throw caution to the wind.

like, i used to hesitate and ask myself how will this be received? will ppl get mad or offended if i write my wildest fantasies? will i alienate certain readers if i go too far?

but i've realized while writing this zhongli scent thing that you've given me the courage to just let it all hang out. to write what i'm passionate about and put it out there. it takes courage (or is it madness?) to throw your creation to the wolves in hopes that it won't be torn apart. i've also taken a few pages from your book, as it were, and fkd,dmdjdkddk CRYS? my depravity has graduated to a whole new level and it is exhilarating.

I mean I would say it depends on what you want to do, what you hope to achieve or what direction you wanna go with your blog, most people write sfw with a dash of nsfw around or half and half. Usually when Papyrus told him to keep his day free, it meant that they were about to have some sort of ‘serious discussion’. It wasn’t exactly a secret that neither of them were the greatest with words—more often than not, their ‘discussions’ led to anger and upset and a whole day-long event of sulking and avoiding each other till they found ways to apologise without actually saying the words out loud. So when Sans gets the ‘keep your evening free’ text from his brother, he’s tense and nervous from then till he gets home from patrol.

That gets amped up about a thousand times more when he enters and sees that all the lights in the house are off except for a dim glow coming out from the kitchen.

��Uh… Boss?” He calls, walking carefully through the living room with his magic at the ready in case some idiot has actually tried to break into their home.

“In here,” Papyrus answers from the kitchen, and Sans fractionally relaxes.

It doesn’t last long though, since as soon as he enters the room, he feels like he’s been pushed straight into some sort of parallel universe.

For one, there’s a table. Sans doesn’t know where his brother got it, but there’s an honest-to-god table fit for two in the middle of their kitchen. It’s even got a lacy little tablecloth on it. And then there’s the only light source in the room—a lit candelabra at the center of the table, casting warm, flickering orange shapes over the meticulously set-up dinner arranged around it. To top it all off, there are flowers. Actual, proper, real-not-plastic flowers.

“Wh… I uh, am I… missing something?”

Papyrus rolls his eyelights and scoffs, “I knew you’d forget.”

He walks around the table and approaches him, and it’s only now that Sans notices the way that his brother is dressed. A clean, pressed, black dress-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and dark, grey, slacks with a shiny, silver, skull-shaped buckle. Sans feels completely under-dressed—his shoes wet and muddy from the slush and his unwashed jacket probably stinking up the place. By the time Papyrus is face-to-face with him, Sans has picked out every possible thing wrong with the way he’s dressed and is feeling increasingly anxious over whatever major event that warrants fancy-ing up that he’s clearly forgotten about.

Papyrus looms over him, tall and menacing. When he leans in, Sans almost teleports away.

But then Papyrus kisses the top of his skull and Sans freezes so solidly in place that he can hardly breathe, much less relocate his body through time and space.

What the hell is going on?
