two things I noticed.

when Aoi's comms break in the 1999 trailer we hear a Mesa SFX, which might mean there even more cool Warframe suits like Arthur's lol.

Also when Albrecht lays down inside the pod with the Kavat, they never open it up again, it's literally Schrodinger's Kavat. how is Albrecht alive? well we never opened the box to check. Also wondering why there's Human Albrecht who looks like Wally but also Orokin Albrecht who we've known up to this point.

random thoughts after rewatching the gameplay demo at tennocon

Whispers In The Walls feels like the logical conclusion of Warframe though it does kinda feel like Warframe is taking things from TNW, AOZ and Duviri's void and continuing to leave a wake of untouched loose ends.

Warframe 1999 feels like the biggest shark jump a franchise like Warframe could possibly take because it'll reveal the hand of 15 years worth of lore building and setting Kay-Fabe and then shred each card Infront of you leaving only the remains of the deck to piece together how everything else goes back together again.

ultimately this is a new beginning so I hope the status quo does really hit that change at a certain point but with so many different loose ends, just taking the Entrati and Void and running will ultimately feel like it's leaving most of the system in the dust yet again. I wish Nightwave was considered more of a success because it really felt like it was bringing something to the table with it's re-examination of the old enemy factions and even older things like boss fights that gift you BPs and components (if you consider traditional Warframe acquisition like being The Jackal, the last Warframe we got like that was Wisp(?) one that wasn't a resource or standing grind reward like the last handful have been).

I love the future of Warframe, everything AOZ, Veilbreaker and Duviri have brought have left me very hopeful, but I almost wish we had more micro updates to just add more to the story that wasn't so... Void-Tasting.. . what happens with the Sentients, how are the corpus and the Granum Coup doing, what are the Queens doing... the Infested might have something to do with this new update but even they're basically disregarded in a Deimos flavored update!!! why the fuck does the sergeant still fuckin exist lmao like, the Dagath Update is QOL city sure but I still feel like so much of the content is trapped in the last decade of the game and I wish we could get some overhaul or atleast some small changes to better suit the future of the game's style.

Erra Ramble:

like to me Hunhow has softened alot since being downed and sunk, and kinda reflected that he was not a very good dad, but he's still driven by his views to tear down what remains of the Orokin. Foxy Grandpa Hunhow that we see in The New War with drifter, and how he finally accepts The Lotus as a synergy of Margulis and Natah and how his primary goal shifts from extermination of the Origin to saving his daughter and letting her finally act free of orders or command Via Ballas or Himself. But like Erra was right there.

Everything about Erra is that he is unimportant and strives to be important. He is always emulating his controller, first when he takes Natah away from us and when he emulates Ballas during the Invasion of The New War, because he has no identity to act with. While I need to go back and adapt my head canon about *why* the Archons are animals since new information has made it clear that while they are Erra's creations, they aren't exactly his original designs, it's him working with two derivative ideas and fusing them to try and make something new. he like, doesn't quite have the space to fully express his desire so he takes known ground and shifts it to work the way he wants but it's imperfect.

You take this kid who was the first of a generation of new Sentients that were capable enough of thought and growth but not necessarily of outside the idea of a primary function. Personally IDK what Erra's designed function would be, Natah is a Mimic, Hunhow a Farmer, but Erra feels different because he's not quite anything. So you take this kid and pump him full of ideals, about the greater cause against the Orokin and their wasteful destruction and opulence, of the animals that were wiped out and their imagery and what they stood for. His personality and identity are Tau, he doesn't have enough room to grow, and then he gets sent to the Sol System and he witnesses The Old War and because of that freedom and chaos he begins to actually grow and learn about his people and the people that made them. and that's where I see these Archons coming together, fundamentally I see the actions of a child who has these favorited, legacy animals that are so important to him, that stuck with him, and so when he gets the chance to weaponize the tools of a Warframe for Tau they take that shape on almost instinct. when he becomes the backbone of the Narmer fleet we see him acting on this desire for any control by mimicking Ballas, taking out his desire for control on the people of the origin system, but not actually being in control, just another pawn for Ballas Red Circle. And when he finally wishes up and has enough experience and world-wise knowledge he realizes his mistakes and helps us in the last leg of our journey at the cost of his autonomy, something he'd been fighting for the entirety of his arc.

idk this is just my brain lol, I just, if Erra made the Archons , then he had to craft the owl statuettes on Boreal's wings, and I think that shows love and creativity breaking through the cracks.

I empathaize alot with Erra because I feel very kindred with my looks, my height, my battle for identity and autonomy in the face of uncaring or harmful people, and I think the idea behind the Archons and Erra's actions in the new war just really struck a chord with me. I love my weird guy.

Triptych: Warframe Idea

concept: another K-drive based frame that's sentient/archon themed -- consider them simmilar to Caliban or Chroma.

like Chroma can switch damage types for abilities specifically to Shock, Electric and Cold(like the sentients you fight with Teshin in TNW), you have to switch in and off board to change damage types which might also effect specific stats like Health and Shields and Armor.

Preforming specific tricks and moves to charge up function, such as generating a rail through enemies(Excalibur Slash Dash) to charge electric to use, K-drive Slamming to pull in enemies like a vortex to charge cold, and performing spins to radiate heat. when you hold press an ability that's tied to a specific element and preform the trick it'll build meter, you need to do tricks(basic ones) to build up the elemental damage to make abilities hit for real numbers.

Theme wise I think it'd be interesting to theme it almost like a failed Archon of Yareli crossed with Chroma, feeling like it's own design -- Nega Yareli even. In the same way that the perfected Archons use Warframe and Sentient powers to get the best of both, I think Triptych would sorta be a Warframe that maintained control while being augmented into a Sentient weapon. I also like tying it in to another frame for children simmilar to how Yareli represented power for the Ventkidz who lost their folks to debt collection -- Perhaps the aftermath of TNW reawoke Triptych on earth and the ravaged Ostron people and their children who lost their parents to the Narmer threat can find some power by Triptych. it would be interesting to tie the two ideas together. Considering how the Ostron Co-habititate with the Eidolons, it would almost be like a new thing for a new era of Cetus.

this is all ideas rn typing them out so I don't forget but maybe I'll do more.
