OK Now I gotta talk about this scene as a whole and not just about the obvious Heiji x Kazuha reasons. Because there is some pure comedic gold in the beginning of this chapter as well. 

First off, Heiji pulled a dick move by suggesting that Conan (Shinichi) lost his touch with bringing in interesting cases after he confessed his love to Ran. Which of course would piss him off, so it was kinda obvious what the next logical step would be: Reveal that he recorded Heiji’s entire love confession to Kazuha. 

I already fangirled enough about Heiji’s priceless reaction to hearing the recording of his own love confession, but just looking at the annoyed look on Conan’s face as he played it made me die laughing. 

Essentially by doing this, Conan (Shinichi) is basically saying: “Oh you want to play the game of love confessions? Sure. I have yours recorded ON MY PHONE. YOUR MOVE DICK." 

This opening couldn’t be more perfect to a file. I’m so thankful for the comedy that comes out of Gosho Aoyama.

I missed my 200 mark due to a brief absence and since it was half way to 300 by the time I noticed, I decided to wait...
