Greetings, to all the Magi viewing this.

If you are viewing this message, then this means that you have been chosen as a candidate for this Digital Holy Grail War, an attempt to truly replicate a grand ritual via a virtual reality.

I am the Overseer, @lapithae, and I am hoping for this to be a success.

Some of you may be already familiar with the Holy Grail War ritual. If you aren't, then the basic premise is that seven Heroic Spirits, great heroes and villains of yore, are summoned as your familiars in order to fight to the death to win the Holy Grail, a magical artifact that can grant any wish imaginable.

I understand, the Holy Grail has been disregarded as a myth- but as a magus, you must understand that the line between 'myth' and 'reality' is growing ever-blurrier. Or rather, it is our job to keep these myths alive.

And thus, the Grail must be sated, and only a Grail War can satisfy it.

You will do battle by granting Servants mana in the form of your favor. The more favor a Servant receives, the more power they will gain, and the higher their chance at victory. However, things are slightly more complex, as each Servant possesses unique traits, abilities, and Noble Phantasms that hold the power to change the tide of battle.

However, I leave the Summoning of these figures up to you. Our Summoning System is based around the amount of hands beckoning towards a specific Servant.

However, this is not a traditional Grail War. Rather than the seven standard Servant Classes, you will be a part of a battle between six Extra Class Servants. These Extra-Classes are beyond the normal ken of traditional Heroic Spirits, and thus guarantee that this ritual will be a tremendous success! They will act as your familiars, your representatives as you fight to win.
