“Black Widow Wednesday” - meant to post this here earlier, but it’s not midnight yet! Anyway: I wanted to try a couple things, since as much as I love “dragon” membrane-wings, I default to it way too often! Earwigs have supremely cool wings - unique structure that folds up in a surprisingly compact manner, and this fanning-out shape is just visually very neat on its own too - so I borrowed a few ideas there. Quite like where it ended up, I think this suits this character (and particular aircraft) nicely. Added a couple of ref pics under the cut:
