damn i know you don't have reading comprehension but this is crazy. Anyway.
My points were based in a handful of different things, I wasn't tackling what you were saying from just one angle.
A. Part of my refute was a period has multiple definitions in different connotations (Culturally/Biologically/Whatever else). Even if you are right on the biology (you aren't) you are incorrect culturally. This was mainly in the last part.
B&C. It is relevant to the discussion at hand. Believe it or not your BELIEFS about trans people are relevant to the discussion of a Trans Woman's period. Crazzyyy. The point of bringing up that was also to point out your beliefs on similar but related topics, such as gender as a whole. These beliefs naturally point you towards transphobic talking points. You may not be transphobic, but this is a transphobic talking point.
Also yeah wow crazy women have different experiences from other women. There are still women who are born without Uterus' who have periods. Though perhaps you wouldn't call them periods, because they're not losing blood actively. They still are, if not medically then culturally.
Anyway since you seem to be a serial discourser or whatever rather than a person open to the experiences of others, I'm not going to engage anymore. This isn't really like a serious debate or anything im not about to pull out fucking sources (Not like you do, in your Discourse Carrd. Which is still so hilarious to me. Do you do this on every Trans post?)
Beliefs don't exist in a vacuum, rather they all build off of each other. So if you're out here with a literal document about your beliefs, of course I'm going to glance over them. Also you don't even know what exactly I pulled from, and considering you have a big ass carrd, it could be any one of your pages about this topic.
Also for your other post complaining about people proving you wrong: of course I'm going to block you if you follow me, and then add shit like this to someone's post. Dude what. I don't want you anywhere NEAR me.
bye byee hope you seethe over this for 1 hour or whatever you do with your free time. im gonna go draw men kissing
question
what's the mental effects of a period like?
i have a hunch and im gonna be SO fuckin pissed if it's right

hi op sorry my ex-follower added some wrong ass shit to your post. i'm not transgender but i do take an extreme issue with their perception. i'm rbing this post on my sideblog just because my followers don't deserve to see the most nonsense points ever lmao
important for me to point out personally that if you go check their blog and they don't believe in nonbinary people and in the idea of 'brain sex' which lol lmao okay.
anyway long post under the cut but TLDR: CONGRATS ON YOUR PERIOD OP
just be generally aware that these arguments stem from both a lack of knowledge and deeply internalized transphobic talking points rooted in pseudoscience. the menstrual cycle happens BECAUSE of hormones, the shedding blood part is a side effect experienced by most but not all women.
Discrediting someone else's experiences because "You don't have a Uterus, so you can't have a period" is simply cringe. Hormones will do what they do regardless of 'biological sex'. Hormones will tell your body 'Hey, it's that time of the month!' and the body will follow those instructions.
To be fair this is argument is coming from someone with a Discourse Carrd who believes in "Brain Sex" and that gender is binary. My general understanding of those beliefs is that it's stemmed in the idea of biology defining peoples Sex/Gender (which they make no difference between).
Which yeah sure technically the brains between male and female differ, there's as much of a difference between me(woman) and my sibling(also woman)'s brain. A lot of the differences between male and female brains straight up occurs because of SIZE, which is also affected by a plethora of other things. Making it so ultimately it doesn't fucking matter.
Once you fall for "Group X has a different type of Brain from Group Y and this is significant" you are so susceptible to becoming a really shitty person. That is historically the arguments people use to oppress people and commit genocides.
And now to tackle this from the best standpoint ever which is the fucking humanist one: The cultural idea of a 'period' is so heavily tied in with the idea of being a woman. So if someone says they're having a period, they are. I don't care. End of story.
