“There’s no one there.”

“No one’s there” Stacy had said.

He heard her say “No one’s there” as narrow fingers graced the side of his cheek, calling for his head to rest up against her body. Finally… rest.

He wanted to return the favor, he mourned that he could have a long time ago. Cradle her within the same warmth, speak hushed reassurance of her future, drip devotion from his fingertips across her body, all the things he put on a square suit and vowed teary eyed that he’d do.

And yet, all he can do is thumb the loose string on her sweater, feeling it coil around his blood dipped finger. Hanging onto her like a lost child. A child. A scared, pathetic, crazy fucking child.

Chase found his gaze taking note of the window. It was one of the two small kitchen windows, showing a smidge of the neighbors chain link fence, the overgrown milkweed that obscured the other half, and a peek of the curb if you leaned to the right. It was better at letting enough air in to jostle the sheer curtain than anything else. But tonight was an exception.

He had heard her say, “There’s no one there.” … With her song-like voice that he loved so much.

He snuggled his head deeper into her chest, pulling her closer. His hand, abandoning her sweater, crept up her back towards her hair. He knew her words were fictitious.

Like a flower, he wilted. First came the phone, screen first and shattering on impact. Chase was quick to follow, succumbing to gravities pull on his hopeless body as it left him in a fetal position on the floor.

Despite the shattered screen, the voice on the other line called out. “Hello? Hello? Chase? You still there?” With each unanswered second, urgency filled their voice, overpowering the broken phone speakers at it popped and sizzled between these words.

“I’m-I’m gonna come over! Please Chase! Please don’t do anything! Please” they begged.

So uh. With the notion that c!Jack is no longer canon to the egos story. Here's where we're at:

It has no effect on Jackie other than debunking the "Jack is Jackie's real identity" theory.

It has no effect on Marvin unless I'm somehow forgetting something.

COMPLETELY derails what we know about Henrik. Jack was his best friend, as was Chase, he saved both their lives (reminder: Henrik confirmed Chase's case in KJSE), Anti possessed him BECAUSE he was trying to save Jack, which to us was the origin of all his fanon trauma, which has made SO MUCH of his character over the years as well as for his comeback in May 2018

It scraps a lot of Chase's foundation as Jack's best friend, overturns a huge chunk of what we know about him via Mayhem. The coma plot, Chase being in charge of the channel posing as Jack, that's all gone now. His only plot now is getting divorced, losing his kids, getting evicted. And Dark Silence, because Chase's encounter with Anti in it leads to him being contained by IRIS. Basically it's Bro Average -> Dark Silence -> CHASE -> IRIS & any future Alterverse content now.

It has no effect on Jameson. His lore as we know it, being Anti's unwilling puppet, is still concrete. Assuming this is what Sean continues to build off. We don't know what his plans are, all we know is Anti is some sort of anomaly now.

I 100% understand why Sean is redacting c!Jack and as an OC writer myself, I totally get "not knowing what you're doing at first so it has to be scrapped down the line." But it's still sad that this is taking a wrecking ball to Henrik's story. I think personally I'll be referring to it as his Beta Story on anything theory related I make for now on.

I'm not really sure how to word the thoughts I have now otherwise, but I do desperately hope my fellow theorists, newbies and veterans alike, are as willing as I am to trust Sean to take the story in its new direction. And respect it. We know there's someone very present in the community helping him with it and keeping a lot of the plot points and character lore we're all so attached to in his mind. While the coma *was* one of those things, again, I totally get why it has to be redacted. And honestly? That probably makes things less complicated in the long run, which I think we'll all appreciate WAY more eventually if we don't already, because it means there's less for us to worry about being done justice.

I think sometime this evening I'll make a post that constructs what, as far as we currently know, is all still canon. Just for our sanity's sake.

And for the record, for anyone who relies on my theory blog @isas-theory-wall, I'm not gonna "clean out" any posts from it or rearrange my tags to differ between Beta Plot and Actual Canon (at least not now, not until it proves to make utilizing my blog inconvenient or something). All our old stuff and what we Thought was canon prior to the story revamp will remain. If not for future use, at least for nostalgia.

I drew this before the livestream, and the video came out, but i genuinely thought it would be cool if the man was covered limb to limb in heavy weighted metal to hold him down and to keep him secure. But hes just strong enough to drag himself to chase brody to torment him.

Jacksepticeye's Egos Explained (2/2)

As far as canon story goes we haven’t gotten much, over the last seven years there was a little bit of story dropped until very recently as Jack is focusing on Chase Brody’s story! Let us start from the beginning!

When the egos were first introduced both Jackieboy Man and Marvin the Magnificent did not have any story to them, they were just silly little ideas that Jack had which led to the community loving them later on. During Henrik’s story we learn that Henrik used to be married until one day he caught his wife cheating on him with her Tennis Instructor which led to a divorce, now single again Henrik seemed to dedicate his life to his job as doctor.

Later along we get a video of Chase who slowly spiraled into this deep Depression while filming a video for YouTube as a distraction, by the end we learn that Stacy (his ex-wife) refuses to let Chase see their child despite that is all he wants. Chase took the opportunity and by video's end uses a gun to shoot himself in the head (obviously for story sakes that is real, HE USED A NERF GUN JACK WAS FINE).

Then the first fully body appearance of Anti comes along one day while Jack was just innocently carving pumpkins for Halloween, causing weird noises and strange things to happen Anti managed to freak Jack out properly before taking over him. With the little control he had at the time he grabbed the knife slicing Jack’s throat to kill him, but it led to Jack being in a coma instead. (AGAIN IT WAS FAKE THE KNIFE WAS A PLAY PUSH KNIFE)

Then things become quiet for a while before we have a conversation with Henrik as he talks about he was the one who saved Chase’s life that day, we also learn that Chase and Henrik are good friends who met through their friend named Jack who fell into a coma. Which leads to a situation further on that Henrik is in a life or death situation as Jack’s body starts to rapidly break down for unknown reasons.

Fighting and panicking to save his life Anti took advantage and started to force control of Henrik’s body while rapidly destroying Jack’s body to weaken it, there were points where Anti tried to kill Henrik through strangulation by wires, but Henrik noticed and stopped himself pretending he had no idea what was going on. By video's end Henrik started to panic before fully pleading to the audience to save him and Jack, he acknowledged Anti was doing this which means he knew who Anti was. Corrupting and glitching out the video went from Henrik pleading to a full on conversation between Anti and the viewers. He went off about his ability to control and how we are hopeless in saving those people before hinting who he was going for next, a glitch layered on top of him which had lines to resemble Chase’s hat, aka his next victim.

It wasn’t long until a new ego appeared named Jameson Jackson, what started off as an innocent video of a man carving a pumpkin took a turn when Jameson accidentally cut his finger. Trying to ignore the pain caused the glitches to start, Jameson easily fell under Anti’s control as Anti had full ability to move and talk through Jameson’s body.

Nine months later and not a word came from any ego, all was silent besides Anti appearing once in a while as if he was teasing us about being in control of this situation and how we have no ability to help the egos. That until one day this fake “Dr. Septiceye” appeared claiming himself as the best doctor and played a variety of surgery related games. It felt like teasing that Henrik wasn’t around until one day on Tumblr we received a vacation card from Henrik…that has blood splattered across it.

No one knew where Henrik went and it caused mass panic within the community and many started going against this “Dr. Septiceye” for being a fake, well during one of his surgery videos we hear a familiar voice. Henrik has come back full force shutting this whole fake doctor down and out of his spot as the doctor we all know and love.

A few months later we had a game appear that dealt with Depression so as per usual it was fitting for Chase to play these games, moments he would be sitting alone in a candle lit room drinking away…that is until he decided to leave the room.

Hearing what went from laughter to screams of terror Chase headed upstairs to an ominous red hallway where he met Anti face to face, Anti was standing in a doorway as if he was watching someone before turning and spotting Chase. In a panicked voice Chase spoke up knowing this entity had done something to his family. Without a word Anti rushed towards him taking control of Chase in a flash, Chase blacked out unknowing of what happened afterwards.

Nothing of the story was revealed until a video appeared where Anti decided he was going to interact with us as the community…well interact as in stare at the camera and say nothing for a few minutes. Everytime he did speak it was soft spoken in Jack’s voice…talking about how “phase one” of his plan was completed and now we are onto the next “phase” whatever that means.

Then it was a while after until we got to interact with Chase, a wordless adventure showing that he was recently evicted out of his house making him homeless now. He drove deep into the woods and knelt down a pile of stacked rocks holding a photo of his ex-wife and child, which signifies his family has died. Alone sitting on a rock Chase decided to drink his sorrows away…that was until he suddenly teleported on top of a parking garage by the edge. Panicked, he looked around confused having no idea what happened or how he got there.

Not long after we get to see Henrik, we can see Henrik working on what seems to be an equation, later on, a community member finds that the equation is for time travel! While working hard on the problem Henrik notices his computer begins to glitch out, on his monitor appears this trance-like portal. He was staring into the portal almost at all that his information has possibly worked!

While Henrik was achieving scientific greatness Jameson on the other hand was not having nearly as much fun, doing a puppet show Jameson sat in his own little show box telling a story of a murder mystery. During the story Jameon notices that strings have randomly appeared on his wrist. With a smile he just brushed it off trying to not panic about it. That until the end of the story Jameson glitches out, the strings are being held by something or someone above him controlling him like a puppet. During the glitches you can see Jameson sign for us to help him as he tries to fight back against the strings and ultimately fails at the end.

Then for the first time within years Marvin has made an appearance, within the video there was not a word spoken as Marvin seemed to be looking over a series of notes and information he had within this journal, to his side laid this glass ball that has a similar portal design to Henrik’s screen! Marvin hesitated for a second before touching the ball. Suddenly he was flooded with information and scenes of what Anti has done to the other egos, Marvin lets go snapping back to reality almost in a shock.

By the end of the short video Marvin was seen standing over a fire of sorts as if he was burning something within the flames.

Then months later we are back to Chase’s story…we are introduced to Dr. Hanson (Arin Hanson from the Game Grumps) who sat in an almost empty room with Chase…cameras recording every single thing Chase is doing during the interviews. Chase is hesitant to speak at first and decides to not say much just going on about how stupid these were…Chase ends up being trapped in that room for seven days.

Within those seven days we see Chase sitting at the table alone staring down at it before he started to hear this noise, it almost sounds like a glitching noise before he grabbed his head, almost swaying a bit as he screamed and begged for “him” to leave him alone. Then it happens again on another day but this time it was someone different, someone speaking with Chase but we cannot hear the conversation of this person called “Echo” and they told Chase he was special but avoided saying anything beyond that.

With constant declining from Chase that he doesn’t know who “ALTR 114209” seemed to start bothering the people he was captured by, Dr. Hanson begins to explain this place is called “IRIS” and their goal is to protect humanity from supernatural dangers that aren’t easily seen with the human eye. In a moment of exhausted emotions Chase started to cry, within his tears he states “I didn’t kill them”

Which refers to his family suddenly dying, implying that after Anti took after Chase he killed his family most likely due to influence by Anti. The next day Chase was sitting there before Dr. Hanson and guards seemingly rushed into the room as there were alarms going off in the hallways. Confused Chase was grabbed and dragged up by the guards and they started to walk in the hallway with the guards.

Just ahead the doors were closed and giving an ominous red light, pure panic filled Chases system as he started to thrash about out of the guards grip begging and pleading for them to not take him through that door. Ignored, the guards grabbed Chase and started to drag him despite his protest.

Leading to moments later where every individual besides Dr. Hanson laying on the ground dead, Dr. Hanson was nowhere to be found. Anti appears by the door to Chase’s room floating…as he lands he quietly walks through the hallway of dead bodies and blood maintaining eye contact with a panicked Chase who was kicking off the floor desperately trying to get away from him.

Now just a few feet ahead the two meet face to face again.

Lastly now knowing the story and characters I can now give you the videos that are important and canon to JSE lore!

Jacksepticeye Ego's Explained (1/2)

Welcome my dear viewers to this explanation of the egos and their stories, this is for all theorists new and old who want to relearn or learn more about the egos! To get lost in Jack's world of storytelling.

Let us start with the people behind the making of the ego lore!

First and most obvious is Jacksepticeye, he plays and makes up the egos through a series of videos, comic books, games, and podcasts to come! (Note the game and podcasts have not come out yet)

Secondly will be TurquoiseMagpie, they are a freelance artist whom Jack reached out to a while ago to help story plan the egos, they tend to tease little hints of lore when we approach new videos including all of the egos.

Third would be Jacksepticeye's editors, which includes Alice Robin (BitofAlice) who has recently retired from working for Jack! Alice Robin started editing for Jack around 2016 and was the first person to help bring egos to life! She spent endless hours editing every single ego to the best of her ability which helped create this world that is not like any other.

Then Trey (Tr8ss) who is a new editor within the group, he has helped bring projects such as IRIS to life! Trey typically edits most of Jack’s stuff now from ego lore to everyday videos when he is given the chance!

Hyper RPG is a company that helps creators create interactive livestreams, virtual production, etc. The company had a part in the production and creation of IRIS and the IRIS interactive live stream.

BadEgg Publishing is a company that helps bring the ideas of comic books to life, recently it has been revealed that BadEgg had a part in the production of the comic books “Void Silver” and “The Somewhat Incredible Jackieboy Man!” or better known as the “ALTRVERSE”

Kyle Horwood is an Indie game developer who has created games such as “Security Booth” which is a game that Jack decided to play one day and absolutely fell in love with. Jack since then has reached out to Kyle about developing an IRIS-themed video game! The game is still a work in progress and has no release date!

The Magic Circle is a UK-based company that surrounds itself based on the idea of magic and show business, The company has been mentioned within the description of Marvin’s lore within the comic books!

Now we are going to dwell into the egos themselves and who they are as an individual all the way to how they interact with each other

The first ego to ever appear is Jackieboy Man, he is an ordinary male who has an obsession with the idea of being a superhero from comic books and video games. As far as we know Jackieboy Man has no powers or anything “heroic” about him but that will change when the Comic Books come out! His first and only canon video appearance is “JACKIEBOY MAN RETURNS | Welcome To The Game #2”

Viewers please be advised Welcome To The Game is a very unsettling game about the dark web, there is disturbing imagery and information that is displaced within this game!

Next is Marvin the Magnificent, he is an iconoclastic person who is known to be a bit short-tempered and sarcastic! He is a known magician who has been having trouble within the Magic Circle for breaking the rules, as far as we know with his appearances Marvin is a rather powerful person who has the ability to see within the multiverse. His first canon appearance is “The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Marvin's Magic” Then he has another appearance which we will discuss later on.

Next is Henrik Von Schneeplestein, he is a German doctor who has been given the name “Doctor of Death” by Jack himself. Known to be described as an eccentric and smart individual he has been shown theorizing the concept of Time Travel, where he has managed to come up with the equation of time travel itself. His first canon appearance is “The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Dr. Schneeplestein” Then he has a series of important appearances we will discuss later on.

Next is Antisepticeye, typically known as the “villain” of the story Antisepticeye is the glitch entity (we aren’t entirely sure what Anti is yet) who has been going after the egos one by one, specifically Chase Brody. His personality can be described as mysterious and short-tempered! There isn’t much known about Anti but he seems to have this reason to go after each of the egos! His first appearance is “THE START OF THE NIGHTMARE | Five Nights At Freddy's Sister Location #1” Then he has a series of important appearances which we will discuss later on.

Next is Chase Brody, the main protagonist so far Chase is an ex-husband/ex-father of a family whom he used to know. His ex-wife Stacy got divorced from Chase and proceeded to take their only child away from them, which influenced Chase’s addiction to alcohol. Usually in videos he is seen drinking away his sorrows until he tends to black out from what we know, Chase also suffers from hallucinations due to Anti’s behavior. Recently Chase’s life has been going downhill which we will touch upon in the discussion later. His first appearance is “Chase Brody - The Jacksepticeye Power Hour” Then he has a series of important appearances which we will discuss later on.

Lastly is Jameson Jackson, a man out of time itself Jameson is an old-timey ego who seemingly was pulled from the days of black and white television! Jameson is a mute ego which means he cannot talk, while animated in his gestures and stories he can typically be seen “talking” through words that appear on screen. We don’t know exactly who Jameson is besides the fact his first appearance allowed Anti to manipulate and puppet him against his will. His first appearance is “The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Jameson Jackson” and a few other appearances which we will discuss later on.

There is one character to mention and that is Echo, Echo is a new character within the ALTRverse who has absolutely no information other than they have the ability to speak through Telepathy, the first video they were mentioned in they were speaking with Chase. We don’t know if this is an ego or not, their first appearance was in “ANOMALY FOUND - CHASE BRODY”
