How An Architect Can Fit Into Your Budget

More Revit Early Days
This image is from a design study in 2003 where we placed the same balcony family in the project and told it what level it was on.  Then by manipulating the Type Parameters of one they all adjusted.  We had width, depth at the right side depth at the left side and 2 parameters that served as factors in the formulas that would adjust all the other parameters (i.e. a factor of 1.0 would have no affect on the width and depths, while a factor of 1.25 would cause them to increase by 25% and .75 would they would adjust less.)

Immersive Environment
Wouldn't it be great if you could walk around your latest design before it is built.  Imagine getting the feel of the space before they build a single wall.
How would that change your design process?  Would that be a better communication tool than plans, sections, elevations and renderings?
We think so...
NOTE the upper left corner is the user walking in blank space, the main video is what he is experiencing through the head mounted display.

Revit in the Early Days
Water Tower Place steel shop drawings in Revit 2001.  This is the model that convinced WATG that Revit was a valid tool for the design process.  We were able to verify the construction of the two steel trades as well as the required clearances.
