Thomas took a small sip of the water he'd been passed, gently rubbing his side as he did so. The water was quite cold, and had almost felt like a kick in the gut - though that could have been his bones telling him off for being caught in the crossfire. "Which friend?" Thomas then asked, glancing over to where Floreal had indicated. A frown crossed his face, "How did we get here? Did you carry us?" He asked, though before giving Flo a chance to reply, he then continued, "Who was arrested? We must save them! They could be in worse shape than I!" Although his body screamed against it, Thomas quickly got to his feet - though not without quickly placing a hand to the side of his ribs as if to literally hold himself together.
Après la Tempête
Thomas slowly regained consciousness; a groan slipped through his lips as his eyes finally opened. His head spun in several directions, though as he sat up he felt a shooting pain in his side. Quickly a hand reached to his ribs, “What the hell happened?” he murmured as he then glanced around the room.

He lowered himself back down as his eyes looked up to Floreal. "I am fine, mademoiselle, I swear it." Thomas said, offering a crooked smile to hide a wince. "Where am I? I must have blacked out.." He then added, though quickly hoped Flo hadn't been hurt.

Thomas sat quietly as Combeferre spoke, not daring to interrupt him. When he had finished, however, he finally looked back and replied, “That’s why I came tonight, I was going to tell you when I.. when I fell asleep, I’m supposed to be working now, though I suppose it’s too dark now.” His eyes then glanced back down at the table as he moved a hand over the small patch of soot he’d left there, he tried rubbing it off as he continued, “They do not tell me much, because I am not officially part of the Guard, mon ami. I am told things every now and then, though as of recent-- nothing, the order is not nearly complete, so that is some time we have to prepare for if this is an attack against us..” He then glanced back to Combeferre as the soot didn’t seem to come off. Thomas then stifled another yawn as he replied, “I’ve been making arms for us, and ammunition.. the numbers are far less, though it is still better than none.”

His eyes slipped away, unable to look at Combeferre - or any of the other Amis, for that matter. Thomas gave a small nod, “Though you cannot tell anyone, Enjolras will see me hanged if he were to find out.” He added softly. Thomas had been working hard for that order, though was also using what materials he could sneak to keep for his friends arms - not to mention his breaks were spent dashing across town to meet Hyacinthe, though Thomas would do that regardless of whether he had time for a break or not.

Thomas glanced over to Enjolras and frowned for a moment, watching as he did look as though he were about to murder Grantaire - though that was never something new. He then glanced back to Combeferre, “We’ve just had a large order come in, I’ve not had much time to do anything but work..” He replied with a slight shrug, though it was their largest order to date - even Emilie was being put to work, albeit not as much as Thomas and his father, though still quite a lot for a young girl. “You needn’t worry about me, mon ami, all is fine. In fact, we may even get a decent sum of money from this all!” Thomas smiled a little as he spoke; if it all went to plan, he would finally be able to afford the new shoes he’d been saving for.

Thomas slowly woke up this time, leaning back in his chair as his hands came up to rub his eyes. He then squinted up at Combeferre, “The meeting.. can’t be over, I just got here..” He replied quietly, stiffling a yawn as his eyes slipped away to see that people were in fact leaving, or were already gone. Thomas then took the wine glass back and finished it off in one go; if he’d paid for it, he might as well enjoy finishing it off.. even if it probably would put him back to sleep.

“Yes.. the people!” Thomas murmured, still half-asleep as he glanced up through blurry eyes. He shifted in his seat a little and then murmured, “Oui, vive.. France..” Though truthfully he was still more asleep than not, so had hardly noticed as Combeferre tried waking him.

Thomas was hunched over the table, faint snores slipping out every so often but never too loud as to undermine the noble leader’s words as he stood lecturing the Amis on the importance of equality. Yet still the most surprising part was that Thomas’ half-empty wine glass was still in tact, with nothing spilled despite his feeble grip on it.

Thomas looked down to the bed, raising an eyebrow though quickly looked back to Combeferre as he snapped at him. “Someone like me?” He replied, “What the hell is that supposed to mean? You think I’m a snitch?!” Being quick to anger, Thomas glared right back at Combeferre for even suggesting something like that, even the thought of it had offended him beyond words.
“How did you get here?”
“I walked here, Combeferre.. How else would I have gotten here?”

If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?
There are probably a hundred or so people Thomas would murder, though to narrow it down to just one, he would probably murder the snitch whom had Lucas (and his band of brothers) executed. He’d probably be quite merciless with it, too.

Thomas knitted his eyebrows together as he saw Combeferre, “Salut, mon ami..” He murmured, “I think I may have been followed.. I noticed a man following my footsteps, I do not think it is too safe.” Thomas then glanced over his shoulder once more, though was unable to see anyone suspicious.. it was rather dark, however, whomever it was could easily be hiding in the shadows. “Are you alright, Combeferre?” Thomas then asked as he looked back, “You look like you’ve not slept in weeks..”
@combeferre
Combeferre only opened the door a crack to peek out, but, seeing that it was Thomas, he opened it the rest of the way.
“Bonjour, Thomas.”  He ushered him inside and locked the door behind him. His face was a little pale and there were rings under his eyes from lack of sleep, but he seemed in quite good spirits. His desk was covered in a mess of articles that were clearly focused more on revolution than revolutionary medicine. “It’s not like you to show up unannounced, are you alright?”

@combeferre
Slicking his hair back, Thomas shuffled along to Combeferre’s apartment. He glanced over his shoulder before promptly knocking on the door, rather impatiently, though kept a cool exterior as he didn’t wish to appear too out of place.
