Each weak shards fall from Eden to other realms, they are quite big rocks. At this rate the mountain is going flat after years pass by.

But then again, each week thousands of sky kids die there, leaving their stone bodies pile up

That will balance stuff out? Will the mountain get taller or shorter?

As time pass by and more sky kids being born, krill population will also increase due to the abundance of food and no natural predator. Soon Wasteland and Eden will be so full of krills that they start move to other areas, chewing every sky kids wings on their way.
