can we PLEASE talk about charon i am DYING to talk about charon. i really dislike the idea that hes a prewar soldier i think it kind of cheapens the idea of the contract i like the idea that hes a vault escapee of one of the destroyed mind control vaults and wrote the contract himself in a really shortsighted way of trying to control who can anf cant tell him what to do (as opposed to anyone anywhere being able to tell him what to do) and the ghoulification came after. really slowly. and now hes like that bc he never actually dealt with the effects of the mind control conditioning. i also think he has chronic pain in all of his joints and NO LIPS. STOP GIVING HIM LIPS

Cappy’s Cafe inspired place that I made in 3Ds Max and Corona Renderer (+ a bit of Photoshop). Now with a GIF that looks like someone is having a party! (Part 3)

Fallout 4 and Nuka World DLC just won’t let me go. Two days to create this scene/angle and one day editing the picture: general color correction, sharpening, blurring, adding labels, making Nuka-Cola machine less dirty and rusty. There was no way to clean the textures and of that machine, I hope it doesn’t break the pre-war immersion too much. I had fun with lighting: some pics look like they were taken on a phone with flash, others have colorful lights or evening look. Composition is chaotic, it has no focal point or calculated repetitive shapes, rule of thirds is sort of there, but not enough, because this picture should look like a real and spontaneous photo that you would take as quick as possible. It’s a whole feast, since I wanted to show two people enjoying their meals. On the table there are potato chips with cream dip, a big burger with French fries, fruit salad, spaghetti with shrimps, vanilla and chocolate ice cream and cherry cake. Nuka-Cola got more flavors: there’s Dark, Orange (in the glass and in the cola machine) and Grape (in the machine).

Imagine that you come to Cappy’s cafe with a friend after a long day at work (maybe one of you is a Nuka World employee hence the keys). Your friend is sipping orange flavored cola while you are anticipating to try new ice-cold Nuka-Cola Dark along with your heavy meal. After getting your food you take a photo - just for good memories. You split potato chips and discuss plot holes in the new issue of Grognak the Barbarian. It’s getting late - colorful lights and neon signs are on now and the small keychain charm is slightly glowing in the dark. Your friend is humming Nuka World song. Life is a dream.

The thing is he used to have a partner when he was a trooper, Jesús. They had a pretty discret relationship, since being gay and open was frowned upon as captain Knight tells you in game, but they were happy. Everyone else just thought they were good friends.

One day Jesús died and he couldn’t bear it. He left the NcR and became a courier to escape the memory.

I think he was better off without seeing that picture

Also I like to think that Liam and Boone’s paths crossed at McCarran.
