Hey kids. If you have trouble falling asleep I have some advice.

Your brain often needs a task that’s both engaging and boring to coax it into relaxing while keeping it from wandering to The Bad Things. Try something like this:

Try to recall an episode of something you’ve seen a thousand times perfectly from memory. I use old SpongeBob episodes.

List an animal (or plant, or actor, whatever) whose name starts with A, then B, then C, etc etc. When you get to the end of the alphabet start over without any repeats

Try to list the US states or countries in Europe in order by size

Try to perfectly remember a song you love. Not just the lyrics, but every part of the instrumentation (I use Animal Crossing music for this)

Try to mentally chart a path from the front door of your elementary school to your kindergarten classroom. Repeat for first grade and so on.

Do some anagrams

List as many pokemon as you can. Or list as many fire type or winged or purple pokemon as you can
