Hey there, I know I won’t reach a lot of people, but I wanted to put a record of my feelings here about wizards of the coasts open gaming license and it’s potential update.
The looks of the leaked open gaming license 1.1 if true looks terrible, and has the potential to shut down many creators of dnd content not under wizards of the coast.
Not only that, it would enable them to steal any content they like without the creators being able to lift a legal finger against them.
I find it scary, frightening and most of all disheartening that the metaphorical rug that has been there for two decades might get ripped out from under people due to their love for the game. All because it seems the new lead of Wizards of the Coast is dedicated to making this tabletop game a subscription based game and I hate that more than anything. The subscription games out there I’ve found to be the least possible appealing games out there and now they want to milk the dnd community for more money than they already have.

I invented a new spell the other day, dream beacon” it should improve how I interact with the dream realm. Sadly I was beset with terrible nightmares when I first tried it out.
Another strange thing is that when I awoke no one was in town anymore, it was like they all just disappeared, a few fires started from abandoned stoves and clothes still hung outside to dry. Perhaps lets save this spell for more dangerous circumstances…

There is a problem
I tried casting this new spell called “summon host” and I got a vengeful spirit for my troubles.
I tried offering it my bags and it slapped me, I am now also with white hair and selling my haunted house.

I recently learned a ritual to lay upon a terrible curse for three nights and three days… and accidentally turned myself into a lycanthrope… twice.
But there’s something suspicious about it. With one I became… darker, one might even say evil.
But with the other my mentality was more pushed towards being nice to people?
Why is that? They’re all tied to the same deity so why?

I have come up with a new polymorph spell, this one turns my enemies into cake, just cake, can’t really turn them into anything else.
What’s worse is when I went to take a bite it turned back and I got a mouthful of boot.

I recently gained my haste spell, but it doesn’t seem to make me move any faster.
Here let me demonstrate then explain the effects I’ve noticed.

And that was all that occurred over my 114 days of study

I summoned a swarm of giant hummingbirds, and they LAUGHED at me.
Of course I wasn’t sure how effective they’d be until the started divebombing people with rather terrifying force. Mainly the guy who laughed at me and the other giant hummingbirds though

Wall of stone that only forms around you as a sphere, so you’re just in a giant hamster ball that you can’t see though.
Look out friend and foe alike.
(Just a note, wall of stone can take any shape and can meld into other stone, so this is legitimately possible)

Wish spell... but whatever your wish was it is fulfilled by a rather impressive mime who might just be getting beat up by an invisible creature

Silence doesn’t actually make things quiet, all sounds made under this spell are repetitions of the first thing I said this morning

Bought a spell scroll for shadow blade. Though, instead of shadow, all I managed was a sword made of butter... potentially effective as long as it doesn’t get warm.
