»Hey Y/N,are you ready« asked Domen. It was the last competition of season. After this competition you and Peter were planning to go on a holidays. Finally! Not that you didn’t like to see him do what he loves doing the most but spending some time with only him was all you wanted. »I’m almost ready yeah« you shouted back and tried to fix your hair. »We can’t be late. Road to Planica will be so full, we will be so late!« Domen answered back. Yeah well road to Planica was always so full that’s why you were leaving early in the morning. »I’m coming, I’m coming« you said back, grabbed your back and ran down the stairs were you almost fell because of running. »Well we need you alive« laughed Domen at you. »Do I look okay?« you asked Domen. »C'mon Y/N you know Peter loves you the way you are« he said back and grabbed your hand. Well it looked like you guys were really late. You opened the door and went to your car. »Na-a I’m driving today« said Domen, since he got a driving licence he didn’t let anyone drive. »You know today I wanna come there alive« you smiled back and sat into the car. »Ha, ha, ha. Really funny! You know Peter would kill me if anything would happen to you« he said and looked at you. »I know I know, I was just joking« you laughed at him. »He cares more about his girlfriend than his brother, how sad« he said with a sad voice, but you knew he was joking. »Well I would be shocked if he would care more about you than me« you joked back. Domen looked at you and laughed, »you are right, that would be so wrong«. He started the car and start driving to the hill. You kinda regretted not staying in the hotel last night because there was almost 2 hours of driving, but it was never boring beside Domen. You guys got along really well, he accepted you really well when Peter told him that you are his girlfriend. And it was already 4 years since you and Peter were a couple, 4 amazing years. »Luckily the road isn’t that full« said Domen and woke you up, since you fell asleep during driving. »Driving with sleeping you was so much fun! Not boring at all, I was enjoying talking to you, really Y/N« Domen said and poked you. »Hey that hurts!« you faked cry. »Oh stop playing« he said and rolled his eyes. »Whatever I’m telling this to Peter« you said back. »I’m already shaking« he laughed at you. »Whatever« you said back. Finally you guys parked the car and start walking to the hill. Even through Domen was in the team he didn’t like to take a privilege of it and he acted like a normal people who came to Planica. While you guys were walking to the hill he stopped a couple of times for the people who asked for the picture with him. As usually you stayed in the back, as you didn’t like a lot of attention. »Guys, look it’s Y/N« said a girl who was walking behind you. You looked back and smiled at them. »Y/N can we take a picture with you?« they asked you. Why would they even like to take a picture with you? The real start here was Domen or well Peter. »Of course she will take a picture with you« said Domen and pushed you to them. You just nodded and took picture with them. »Can you wish Peter the best of luck for today? We hope he will win yet again!« one of them said. »I will tell him that and thank you« you smiled back and start walking away from them. »You didn’t have to do this, you know I don’t like taking pictures« you said kinda annoyed to Domen. »Oh c'mon Y/N smile! Be happy! It’s the last day!« he laughed back. Well he was right but more closer you were to the hill more nervous you were. But why? There was no reason to be nervous? When you finally came to the top you went to the security guard. »Young man you can’t go in« said one of them. »This joke isn’t funny anymore« said Domen a little annoyed. 2 years ago when he was trying to get in security guard didn’t well know him? And he forgot his card on the table that was inside of the event so he had to call Peter to get him in. Since then everyone made fun of him. »Luckily my card is here« he added and showed his card proudly. »Must be fake« laughed security guard and let him in. »Yeah yeah sure« Domen said back. You guys start walking to the cabin were Slovenian team was. »Will they ever forget this?« Domen asked you. »Probably not« you laughed at him. »THEY ARE HERE« screamed Špela and ran to you guys. »Well someone looks really good today« she added and hugged you. »Same goes to you« you smiled back. »Your boyfriend asked about you more than a hundred times, I think you should at least go say hi to him« she laughed. »Sure he did, he can’t be without her for a minute« said Domen and rolled his eyes. »Oh c'mon Domen I think it’s time to find you a girlfriend« Špela said to him and grabbed his hand. You walked into cabin and saw Peter sitting there. »Hey there« you smiled. When he noticed you he smiled like always. His beautiful smile, smile you fell in love when you met him. »Finally« he said and kissed you. »Missed me so much?« you laughed. »You can’t imagine« he answered back and hugged you from behind. »Are you okay?« you asked him, just like before every competition. »I wasn’t but now that you are here and I’m more than okay« he said back and kissed your forehead. »You will be okay right?« you asked, even though you knew that he knows what he was doing you were always scared that something will happen to him, or any other ski jumpers. »Of course I will be okay« he smiled back. »You promise?« you asked serious. »I promise« he nodded and slowly kissed you. »Enough kissing, Peter you need to go« said Goran when he walked into the cabin. »And nice to finally see you here Y/N« he added. »Nice to see you too Goran« you smiled back. »Good luck, oh and I met some fans who wished you best of luck« you said to Peter and kissed him one more time. »See you after the second round« he smiled and hugged you. Before he closed the door he sent you a kiss and you smiled at him. You sat on a couch and tried to relax. »Y/N, what are you doing here! Let’s go out!« said Špela when she was you sitting there. »Hey don’t worry everything will be alright« she added. She knew how scared you actually were of ski jumping. As much as you loved this sport sometimes you just hated it because of all the falls. »Let’s go out« you nodded. You girls joined Peter’s family. »So today is the big day« said Peter’s mom. »Yeah finally the last day« you smiled at her. »Well I’m not talking on..« she started, »HEY MOM COME HERE« Domen said a little too loud. She looked at you like she was asking if you will be alright on your own and you nodded at her. The crowd in Planica was amazing as always. It was the last competition which meant that it was totally sold out. And Slovenian people were so loud at cheering! First round started and the wind was as always alright in this round. This year it was the first year Domen was allowed to jump in Planica so it was a big day for him. When he jumped his flying looked as beautiful as always and for the first time he jumped over 230m which was his person best. After him there was only 4 more jumpers: Peter, Forfang, Hayboeck and Kranjec. Forfang jumped as always amazing but this time he didn’t beat Domen which way kinda surprising for all of us. Johann was at his best form but Planica wasn’t his favourite this year. Hayboeck jumped 5m longer than Domen so he took the first place and Kranjec jumped on the third place. The only one left on the hill was only Peter. When he jumped I looked away even if I knew I would miss his amazing flying I couldn’t watch. And when crowed became louder I knew he was done with his jump and he did more than amazing. But because of wind he ended on the second place, after Hayboeck, for only 1 point. Nothing was lost yet. Before Peter had to leave he made it sure that he got just a minute with you. »Just one more jump« he smiled. »Be careful« you said before he left. Well almost left because you pulled him back and pecked his lips. »This wil bring me luck« he winked at you. The wind in second round was a little different and judges had a harder job this time. Second round was even a little longer because somehow wind didn’t stop. »Why won’t they just end it« you said. »There is only 6 more jumpers on the top they won’t cancel it is too little number« answered Špela. Too little number? Won’t be too little if someone falls. Your phone started ringing. Peter? »Wait you took your phone there?« you laughed. »Wanted to hear you voice« he said back. »This is taking so much time« he added. »Can’t you just come down?« you asked. »You know I can't« he laughed back. But it wasn’t funny for you. Second round started again and Kraft jumped better than he did in the first round. »I have surprise for you when I come down« Peter said. »Do you now? What is it?« you asked. »If I tell you it won’t be surprise anymore« he said. »I need to go now, see you in 5 mins« he said. »Okay, I love you« you said back. »Love you more« he finished his call. Surprise? Now you couldn’t wait to get him back. What was he talking about? »He got surprise for me? Domen I’m sure you know what I’m talking about« you smiled at Domen. »Yeah I do but I’m not telling you« he smiled. »PLEEEASE« you asked nicely. »Nope« he answered back. So you really had to wait. And now you felt much better than the first round. It was Peter round and the wind was okay a jump befor him. »AND NOW PEEETER PREVC« said the presenter. This time I was watching, I wanted to see him jump. He let go of the barrier and started go down the inrun. When he left the take off he got really really far up from the knoll and it looked like he will jump a new hill record, but in the middle of the hill the wind suddenly changed. Peter lost his balance which wasn’t normal for him and his ski got unsteady in the wind which pulled him down to the snow. Everything went quiet and your heart started beating faster. This can’t be real. You felt tears in your eyes and ran to the landing area where Peter laid. Domen ran after you. »What’s going on« Domen said but no one knew. Peter didn’t move. He didn’t move at all. Paramedics were around him so you couldn’t see anything. There was no sound, no one said anything which was even worse. The nurse that ran away from Peter came to you, where the other nurse was. »We need a helicopter« she said to her. »What’s going on?« Domen kept on asking but the nurse didn’t say anything. You broke down in tears. Why won’t they say anything. In a minute there was a loud sound and helicopter came. Nurse came to Domen and you. »They will fly him to the hospital maybe you should go there« she said seriously. »What’s going on with him« Domen asked once again. »I can’t say anything but the fall was pretty terrible« she answered back. You start sobbing even more. Domen hugged you. You and his family ran to the parking lot but your car was impossible to get out. »Give me second« said Domen and ran back to the security guard. When he came back he said that another helicopter was on the way to take you all to the hospital. You couldn’t move and you didn’t even know how but you were at the hospital waiting for some news about Peter. It was almost 5 hours since accident happened and there was still no news. Goran and the team came to the hospital to check on him and to be beside you and his family. Finally, after 7 hours of waiting doctor came out. »Peter’s family« he said and we all stood up. »We are all of his family« said his mom. And doctor just nodded. »Can we talk in private« the doctor said to his mom and she nodded. They stepped away, no one could hear them. But in a next second Peter’s mom broke down into tears. He didn’t make it. Your heart broke into million pieces, he didn’t survive, he promised he would be fine, he promised he would come back but this time he didn’t. He couldn’t make it, this time he didn’t hug you. You wanted this all to be just a bad dream you wanted him to come out of the room and say this is a just a joke. But no he didn’t and this was all real. You collapsed on the floor in tears. Domen kneeled down to you and hugged you. »I’m sorry I’m so so so sorry« he whispered. Both of you were crying. »He promised« you sobbed. »I know« Domen whispered back. »This will make it worse but here is the surprise he told you about« Domen said and from his jacket took a little box. You looked at him. This couldn’t be what you were thinking about. You took it into your hand and opened it. Yes it was, it was engagement ring, the ring you showed to Peter a week ago. »He wanted to ask you to marry him« Domen said in tears. And as he said this made everything even worse. You tried to stand up but your legs gave in and everything went black. ______________________________________________________________ Okay I’m so sorry for all the mistakes i wrote this at 2am so I bet there is many many many mistakes! i did check all again but I sure I missed a lot of them

Also I don’t know why i wrote this and how i got this idea but yeah somehow I really like this imagine :D even tho its maybe little sad?
