the Doctor knows that Donna didn't meant to hurt her. she waves off the first part of her statement, frowning as she points the sonic towards the metal. the vent sparks and then falls off. the Doctor jumps, latching onto the edge of the vent.
"no. not expectin' ya to join me." she replies. "I'll be right back t' get you out, Donna. One second."
"i shouldn't have -" she sighs. she shouldn't have, but she can't change the fact that it happened anyway. it happened, and it was awful. she doesn't hold it against her, but there are some things you don't entirely move on from.
her eyes widen, going up towards the vent.
"oh, god, we're going to have to crawl through that, aren't we? doc, my knees are old. i'm not in my thirties anymore!"

"thank you." she replies quietly, glancing towards Donna once and then twice. of course donna knew her. some PART of her remembered the Doctor, even if it was by her eyes, but she couldn't risk Donna remembering. "You could say that, yeah. SEEN LOADS of new things."
"It's a nice face, I'll give you that," Donna said, her tone clearly indicating that she was teasing (her go to mode with most people). She laughed a little but then grew serious. "It's your eyes. I feel like I know them. Might sound silly but there is a lot going on in those peepers of yours. You have definitely seen a great many things."

"absolutely, sweetheart." she gently kisses the top of his head. although she would never see ey e to eye with the Master, she could not let that be spread to his son. she gently tugs him closer to her frame, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "anytime, lucian." she replies softly. "anytime you want t' get away."
"they are? my mother always said they were made from gunpowder." the young half-time lord half-human child tilts his head a bit, looking up at the fireworks as they explode in the air. the pretty colors light up his blue eyes. he smiles, turning his head to look over at the doctor. "thanks.. thanks for bringing me here."

the Doctor feels a playful grin taking over her face for a moment. "if you want t' play dress up." she replies. the TARDIS had plenty of outfits that they could wear if Lulu wanted. "'m open t' playin' dress up with you if you wanted."
If Lulu could put her trust anywhere, it was in the Doctor and the Tardis. She knew that whatever or whenever they went would be an adventure. “I knew you would.” Happily, she clapped her hands together, “Are we going to get to play dress up?”

she had never expected to run into Rose Tyler here. but she supposed she should have been on the lookout for her. the last thing she had expected was to run into her. if she had, she would have avoided her.
but she couldn't say that either. she wouldn't allow companions, especially those she had once loved, fall into a dangerous situation when the Doctor could intervene.
"no. 'm not UNIT. Or Torchwood." she stops for a moment, glancing backwards, letting out a small exhale through her nose.
"Just the Doctor, Rose Tyler. Thought ya' might have recognized me." the fashion sense certainly hadn't gotten any better.
