Jay bob's their head. "Well you should read it. It is quite good. Plus, might give you insite into something you never thought of." He then flutters back to his rift.
Virgil nods and watches Jay fly away.
“Insight into something I never thought of...” he mumbles to himself thoughtfully, and types the name into his phone.

Hey Janus, why are you and Logan still here, don't you think that maybe you two should go somewhere else, preferably where there isn't a human that knows you're there, or other humans that they might snitch on you to?
Logan, still next to Janus, opens his mouth, but Janus sends him a glare so intense he closes it immediately. Janus then glares in your general direction.
“You have no right to assume things about my life. You do not know what happened, and you do Not get to tell me the way I ought to handle it!”
Logan very quietly bumps his arm into Janus’s, and from this position, you can far more easily see how much younger Logan looks than Janus. Janus grabs Logan’s hand and drags him away into the other room of their little house, glaring at you in a strong warning not to follow.

Jay flutters out of their rift and lands on the table. "Virgil? I have a question. What do you know of the story series, The Borrowers?" They ask, head tilted.
Virgil startles for a second when he first sees Jay, and then remembers and relaxes. “Oh. Hi, Jay. The borrowers? No, I don’t think I’ve heard of that.”

(I'm guessing Janus does NOT know that Remus knows/suspects there are tiny people in his apartment, because if he did he would probably take Logan and move out instantly, but does Logan know?)
👀 You could always ask~

Janus, Logan, do you guys have a favorite snack Remus leaves out?
Janus looks up from where he’s arranging some supplies, packing some into a tiny backpack. He just glares and doesn’t answer.
Logan, standing behind Janus, gives a wry look, but is silent a moment before subtly motioning to a stack of jerky and nuts.

My writing brain isn’t up to continuing this quite yet, but I do anticipate resuming after Christmas. For now though, I just wanted to announce a wonderful new profile picture by @giant-sketches!

Logan nods very slowly, trying to take in and parse all the bee information. “It seems askers are more complicated than I had first guessed.”
He takes off his homemade glasses and tries on the offered new ones. The difference is impressive, especially in how evenly the glass lets him see and in how comfortably they sit on his head.
“Thank you,” he says, though Jay is now barely visible after giving the gift.
A rift opens and out flies a tiny bluish white bat in a black and purple onsomble. They thwap into Virgil's chest and cling to his shirt climbing to his shoulder. The rift is now a royal purple color and located at head hight besides one of the bookshelves. "Whoa. That took a lot of energy to hook myself as a permanant asker. Hi!" The bat appears to be wearing a set of black rectangular glasses. "I bring well wishes and the hope of fruit" -🦇 1/2
The bat then looks around. "Damn this place is chaos." The little thing seems to be vaugely transparent as it is still an asker just a physical manifestation. "Anyway. Hello! I'm Jay! I'm the ghost bat Annon asker." It looks down. "I'm technically what's known as a Magic Anon. I am actually an anonymous with a set location unlike other annons."
Virgil stares in wonder at the bat on his shoulder. He waves slightly, the rest of his body perfectly still except for quickened breathing and wide eyes. “You— wow! You really decided to stay here? Whoa... um, hi, Jay, I’m Virgil, though you might already know that. I’ve never seen an asker so clearly. Wow. Oh! Fruit, you asked for fruit, sorry, I’ll just—“ he dithers a moment, unsure how to move, before cupping a hand around you, but not quite touching, and then walking to the kitchen.
There’s a fruit bowl on the counter, and he holds up an apple to you. “Here’s this, or, if you’d rather, there’s grapes in the fridge, but I’d have to bend over to get them out, and I wouldn’t want to knock you off on accident.”

Remus, I can tell you what it is that drew all us not-ghosts' attention to your apartment, but you're not particularly gonna like it. (and I really oughtn't to tell Virgil, least not without getting permission from two or three people I don't think are inclined to want to give it, so if you really wanna know, I'll need to tell you so Virgil can't hear.)
Remus ignores Virgil’s knocking and excited talking about something from the other side of the door. He’s actually getting more and more concerned, and emotion he’s not very familiar with. It’s not entirely pleasant.
“I would like to know, yes.”

So, if you're names were already known (Logan and Janus) does that mean that... someone else... knows you personally? Not specifically the humans in this apartment, but... that would imply that someone other then yourselves know your names... sorry, just curious
Janus still glares at you. He’s never been happy about all the new askers, and he’s not going to start now.
“Only Remus knows our names,” he says coldly. “And I’d much prefer it stays that way.”

Virgil was left practically brimming with questions. So many, too many to even begin to unravel them enough to figure out what to ask, much less what to ask first. And then Jay left to go explore. Which was fair. They attached to the house, so of course they’d want to explore it.
He cut up the apple in little pieces, and cut several grapes into quarters, setting the plate on the table. Heh. He was like Remus now. Oh! Remus didn’t know about Jay yet! Virgil went quickly to knock on his door.
...
Logan was also very curious about the bat. First so many askers, and now a permanent one. And they wanted to see what he looked like. He couldn’t decide whether or not that would be a safe thing. Though he was also curious about what they looked like.
Finally, in a decision largely affected by the fact that Janus was not nearby to see him doing it, he stepped out of the walls.
“Hello.”

(As actual being, I wish to apologise to author-chan. Feel free to decline Jay's manifestation. I merely set it up as, me being a permanent asker, I figured I would give the boys a physical thing to play around with when the bat shows up. And so far you don't seem to mind all that much with 'roleplay' like scenarios thanks to how you are set up on here- Hollow the Creator of GhostBatAnnon)
(After considering, yes. I am supportive of a bit of roleplay. However, I will not grant you full physicality. They can feel you, but only slightly, and if they aren’t paying attention they will be able to pass through you. You are still able to manifest small, fully-physical gifts, and can eat and interact with small objects without trouble. Also, by tethering yourself to the house, you will be limited to speaking and interacting with whoever is in the house. I hope you have fun! :)

Do you guys ever have company over? How does that make you feel?
“I try not to,” Virgil says. “It’s a wreck, and usually when I hang out with people we’re doing something specific, so other places work just as well.”
“I’ve been told I’m annoying!” Remus says, pointing finger guns and grinning. “So no, not really company.”

If I were going to accidentally drop some pieces of macaroni on this side table & forget about them, how many would be ideal?
“While your offer is greatly appreciated, Remus leaves more than enough food for us,” Logan says.

Virgil, does Remus ever swap any of your materials for his art projects? Shoe laces, thread, handkercheifs, compact mirrors, paper clips, marbles, fidget spinners, anything?
“I don’t think so. He’s pretty respectful of my stuff and my room. I’ve lost a few things, but I don’t think Remus would’ve taken them. I’m sure I’ll find them in a pocket sometime, or under the bed.”

Patton, there seems to be a lot of tension between Virgil & Remus. How does that make you feel?
“Well, Virgil does get pretty annoyed, but it doesn’t last very long. I think they’ll manage to work it out. I hope so, anyway.” Patton give you a small smile. “So I guess I feel a bit concerned, but hopeful for better.”

“Nothing bad can happen with all this in place!” ... Did something bad happen or almost happened before this was in place?
Remus throws something that resembles a floppy yarn dream catcher at you. “You all keep trying to get me to tell you something and I don’t know!”
