so my mum works in a school and a few months back something similar happened to one of her students. their house went ablaze, they had nothing. it was a horrible situation, the mum was in ruins and the kid who was probably not even 10 was just completely torn too.

the entire school got together taking donations and putting together a bundle with money, any essentials and stuff for the kid too. it is to this day one of the kindest things ive heard of a school doing with no obligations to and no benefit to themselves.
