Libra & Gemini Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
On paper, these two signs are two of the most compatible signs in the zodiac. On surface level, it all appears to match up, they are both very heavily reliant on verbal communication, and understand each others’ reluctance to being emotive and everything in between. However, looking into the depths of who these signs are and who they’d be together reveals a different truth.
Libra and Gemini are signs that contain multiple contradictions. Libra’s is mainly in that they are introverts, but still require the presence of someone else. They are people-heavy, but in the sense that they only need one person. And with this person, the only thing they’d need is to be home with them all the time. Gemini’s contradictions lie in that they are extroverted and love talking to people, but depending on how they’re feeling that day they may need to completely distance themselves from others without any warning. And Libra can’t handle that. Libra won’t manage Gemini’s flip-flopping, as they constantly need that affection and company. They won’t be able to (or just won’t want to) understand the fact that Gemini needs time to reflect and think introspectively.
This is a strange circumstance in which Libra is a very flirty person who needs everyone’s love, and Gemini understands. It fuels their trust. Libra is very judgmental, so when they pick a partner, they will likely not go back on it or have any doubts. They know what they want and they understand people in a very simple way. Gemini will appreciate and understand Libra’s innocent flirtatious nature, because it in turn gives them the freedom they crave as well.
In their communication, they will run into trouble because Gemini (and Libra too, but not as much) is a sign that does not think before they speak. They come to a rational conclusion after deliberation and logical reasoning and can come out harsh or pretentious in the solutions they present to situations. It is not their intention to appear with an inflated ego, but Libra can sense it and they find it off-putting. They are used to being the most adored thing in the room, so being with someone who hardly gives them the time of day can be annoying.
Being air signs, sometimes they will talk about things like their emotions too often for them to actually stop and feel. Gemini especially, will find themselves dissecting their every reaction and coping mechanism and will not be able to actually react or allow themselves to fall apart. Libra won’t run into that problem so much, as it is ruled by Venus, so they have an understanding for how their emotions work, as that is necessary to understand other people.
This pairing is a very simply easy pairing. Their problems can be easily overcome, as long as they don’t become blown out of proportion or ignored until it becomes something bigger.

Scorpio & Leo Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
The first word that comes to mind when I consider this pairing is: intense. These signs would drive each other crazy trying to love one another. They are both very stubborn and rooted in their ways, so they would have a hard time allowing one another to express themselves how they want.
I think of this relationship as a car crash; both of these signs are going at 90 mph and are facing a head-on collision. They are going in the same lane but in completely different directions. Leo wants to understand Scorpio and to have their complete, undivided attention. But, Scorpio wants to be left alone and will not idolize Leo like they want them to.
They both won’t be able to love each other how they want because they have completely different definitions of what love is. To Scorpio, love is laid-back, love is silent, and love is overwhelming. But to Leo, love has to be the loudest thing in the room at all times. It has to be obvious and glaring, physically present so everyone knows.
There will be a disconnect in their communication. Scorpio feels as though things don’t have to be talked about, they should just be known, while Leo needs the conversations as constant reassurance that everything is fine. None of these two signs will be satisfied in these discussions. Scorpio is aware of their emotions, but they just won’t acknowledge them, while Leo is only capable of feeling one emotion at a time, wholly and completely.
So, they would have an all-consuming, intense relationship that will burn out as strong as it began to flame. These two signs have all the passion in the world but have a hard time directing it to each other.

Taurus & Aquarius Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
Taurus and Aquarius are signs that are on completely different frequencies. They do not synchronize at any moment. Their keys are so far off that they will never harmonize. Taurus is by nature very fixed and rooted in everything they do, while Aquarius cannot handle it. Aquarius is adversed and shies away from anything that slows them down or keeps them tied to something. It’s this reasoning that would fail the relationship once Taurus inevitably searches for a deeper connection that Aquarius isn’t willing to offer them.
Aquarius’s wildest ideas would go through a reality check with Taurus. Their usual, eccentric mindset would be halted by the harsh need to face facts that Taurus has. It’s not a logical way of thinking, but more of a need to rationalize and make sense.
Taurus isn’t necessarily one to speak about their emotions very often. And without this push to delve into this part of themselves, Aquarius will not do it at all. They are already detached, distant, so being paired with someone who is too stubborn to bring it up first is not a good idea.
As people, they place value and emphasis on very different things. Earth signs and air signs have very different mentalities on what they want out of life and how to reach it. Aquarius values all things freedom and change, while Taurus cringes at the very idea of it. Taurus wants stability, needs to know that things won’t just switch out from under their feet. Aquarius will probably look around for a change of scenery and leave Taurus behind.

Leo & Sagittarius Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
There will be nothing but heat being spread between these two fire signs. They both know when to bring in passion and when to back it up with their actions. Their life in the bedroom would be one that bringes great envy to those surrounding them. There is never a dull moment. Leo’s passion and excitable fire mixes with Sagittarius’ playful, light-hearted flames and creates something that can only be described in metaphors.
While Leo can be jealous and possessive, this is only because of their fear of being stolen away from the limelight. They need to know that they are the number one priority for their partner and will always be center-stage (even if it’s not really true). And because Sagittarius is more than ready and willing to complete these tasks, there will be no need for Leo to feel out of place or insecure.
While they aren’t the most communicating of signs, they are extremely aware of themselves and their emotions. They are very introspective, even if it doesn’t seem that way, and it helps them greatly in their relationship. The thing about this pairing and fire signs in general however, is that they feel greatly, but aren’t sensitive per se. They are just aware of the fire burning inside of them.
And, of course, as true to any fire signs, their pairing calls for intense fights, which are quite often, all-or-nothing fights. Leo is afraid that Sagittarius will get bored of them and move on to the next shiny object, and Sagittarius is annoyed that Leo does not share their values.
All in all, this is a pretty good pairing that will lead to a very warm, intense love that will drive them both.

Aquarius & Virgo Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
Virgo and Aquarius represent the same ideas, only in completely different ways. This relationship would likely lack the initial spark required in order to pursue everything, because if they felt any attraction, they would be too busy overthinking every possible outcome in order to try anything. (or enjoy it, for that matter).
Aquarius is, in every sense, a lightning bolt, and Virgo is a large tree. They are not made to last very long. And if lightning strikes, it is too quick for the slow earth to understand, and it will only need to confusion and misunderstanding. Apart from the fact that Aquarius strongly dislikes waiting for Virgo’s thought process.
Virgo must take time to rationalize every decision and weigh the best possible circumstance. Aquarius does something similar, but it happens so quickly that it feels minimal. Virgo’s constant analysis of every event is in no way something Aquarius finds attractive.
The most they have in common is their rational abilities to reason through situations. This makes it unlikely for either of them to lie to each other, because they just won’t see the point. The trust they have in each other might just be the best thing in their relationship.
It’s a terrible thing that these signs usually cannot make things work, because with Virgo’s insane creativity and ability to excel within art and Aquarius’s effortless success in lingual skills, they could take over the world.

Scorpio & Taurus Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
Scorpio and Taurus is a match made in R-Rated heaven. These two signs have more sexual chemistry than they do anything else. Taurus is loaded in the sensual component, while Scorpio takes it to the next level. Scorpio’s passion adds fuel to Taurus’ romantic feelings and in turn it brings the relationship to a whole new level.
Scorpio’s intense jealousy and possessiveness usually scares away a new partner. But Taurus finds it appealing, and even endearing . They see it from the perspective of loving the attention. Besides, most Taurus are already possessive, so they complement each other.
Scorpio’s usual secretive, lack of trusting nature is put to bed in a relationship with Taurus. Taurus is a fiercely loyal sign, and arguably the most trustworthy. They will break through to the bits of Scorpio that finds that they confide and trust in other people. They will get their Scorpio partner to believe them wholeheartedly. Although, that isn’t to say that all the Scorpio’s doubts and fears will go away, because they will b there. However, they will have nothing to worry about.
The biggest issue in making this sign work, I think, will be in the stubbornness. In arguments, neither of them will fold. They will always stick to their own words because these are two signs where they always know that they’re right. As in, Scorpio thinks Scorpio is always right but Taurus thinks Taurus is always right. As long as they find a way to bend but not break in this relationship, then I think it’ll be one for the books.

Scorpio & Libra Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
The first thought that comes to mind with this compatibility is a passion and chemistry that would be undeniable. Libra, in its nature, is a very flirty sign. They love to play with their partners and keep things lighthearted and firey. Scorpio is known for, well -- sex. So Libra talks a big game and Scorpio makes sure they deliver. This pairing would result in some explosions, to say the least.
Loyalty would definitely be called into question. Scorpio is a jealous, possessive sign, and Libra is the complete opposite. Libra is not only an air sign that refuses to be tied down, but many Libras don’t understand the problem with flirting all the time. On several occasions, they probably don’t even notice they’re doing it, because they mean it to be harmless.
Libra is a much more analytical, detached sign. Because they are from the air element, they are less likely to show a lot of physical affection to their partner, which is something Scorpio needs, as a water sign. However, Libra will shower their partner in compliments and verbal displays of how much love they have for Scorpio. Which doesn’t end very well because Scorpio is more body-oriented and silent rather than verbal.
Libra’s initial charm and captive nature to others wouldn’t work on Scorpio as time went on. Scorpios are very intuitive and are able to look past this ruse right away.
This partnership is one that would definitely have arguments over staying in versus going out. Scorpio is a much more reclusive, private person, so they would rather stay in. However, Libra is a social butterfly that relies on social interactions, so Libra would want them to go out.
All in all, Scorpio and Libra would  have a fun, challenging relationship for the both of them, if they learn to trust and compromise.

Capricorn & Cancer Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
As a general rule, the elements that best go with one another are earth & water and air & fire. Earth and water blend well, they use one another to mold into a final masterpiece. Cancer and Capricorn, however are two different ends of the spectrum. Cancer feels like they would be younger, but Capricorn feels more mature, because of their driven need to be successful.
Tumblr media
This would be the type of couple to stay in all the time. Capricorn wouldn’t be bothered to go out and spend time clubbing or wasting money. Capricorn would be completely comfortable doing nothing as long as they were with their significant other. Cancer would go along with Capricorn’s decision, just to keep them happy. Cancer wouldn’t really care about doing anything as long as they’re getting the affection and comfort that they crave. Which isn’t really Capricorn’s speed.
Capricorn is in for a much more long-run kind of relationship. In an argument, Cancer would be blind fury and feelings, most likely crying. But Capricorn would try to find a resolution in order to keep the relationship stable. Capricorn’s calmness and stability in this would likely upset Cancer, because Cancer would feel like Cap doesn’t care about them as much. However, it’s just a different kind of caring.
A problem that would arise in this relationship is one of priorities. Capricorn is likely to put a career and their own benefits above the relationship or a family, while the most important thing to a Cancer is family. Although this seems like a good balance on the surface, Cancer simply wouldn’t understand why Capricorn doesn’t feel the same way. It would lead to resentment and feelings of being held back by one another from what they really want.
In conclusion, if the Cancer is looking to pursue something serious, then I believe this relationship would be worth giving a shot, as long as they make time for what the other needs.

Gemini & Cancer Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
Gemini and Cancer does not flow well. In this case, opposites do not attract. They are different not only in the way they are, but in the way they handle things. Cancer is all emotion and needs to constantly be in touch with how they feel, while Gemini doesn’t necessarily know feelings even exist. There would be clashing between them whenever they had to discuss how something made them feel. Gemini is too logical for Cancer to understand. It’s not that they would have a hard time reaching a consensus, but that it’d be impossible to even get there.
Cancer and Gemini would be amazing if they got their edges to fit. They would be able to mold the worst parts of each other, and bring out the best. Cancer would teach Gemini’s cold and calculated parts what it is to be warm and affectionate. Cancer would bring out the clingy in Gemini and match what Gemini requires in verbal love in physical appreciation as well. Gemini would teach Cancer to think with their head. Gemini would insert a bit of fun into every situation, and lead Cancer away from their usual comfort zone. Cancer would show Gemini what it is to have a love that has no second guesses, a love that remains when everything else doesn’t.

Aries & Pisces Compatibility
*Disclaimer: This is not an exact science and only reflects my opinion based on what I know about the signs. Do not take it to heart.*
Aries and Pisces is the exact definition of trying to mix water and fire. But, instead of canceling each other out, they live leaping from one extreme to another. This couple would be an emotionally aggressive pair of people. Pisces would add fuel to Aries’ fire by being an emotional wreck at the slightest of instances. Aries has a lot of anger, whether they make it obvious or not, it’s there. And when you spend time with someone, it eventually comes out. So, as soon as Aries shows even a bit of aggressive anger, Pisces would crumple.
I think Aries’ more outgoing nature would be good, and the constant adventure would pull Pisces out of their make-believe fantasy, because, for the first time, reality is just as good. I think Aries’ blunt straightforwardness, and their need for that being reciprocated would not be met. Pisces would be too busy trying their best to not hurt Aries that they wouldn’t be capable of being fully and completely honest. Not in a way that Pisces is a liar, but if something would spark sadness, they’d keep it to themselves.
Aries is the type of person that needs fights in relationships. They feel that it’s healthy to have intense conversations about how they feel. Because to them, things are either really good or really bad. That’s where Pisces is similar to them. They, too, only know extremes when it comes to relationships, but in a different way. They want to talk about their feelings and have in-depth conversations, and immediately get defensive just to not become angry.

Compatibility!!
So, seeing as I’ve finished naming a character for each of the signs, I decided to again do something different for this portion. I didn’t want to do the same thing with the shows I was watching, but instead a topic that I feel a bit more interested in. Which is why I decided to write about the compatibility between one sign and the next.
I’m accepting requests for compatibility, I don’t know if that means anyone will send them, but here I am! I’ll try to get to them as soon as possible, but I make no promises. But first, I have to make it incredibly clear that compatibility is not the only or the most important thing in a relationship. You should not decide if you want to be with someone or not just because of this. And if you disagree with me, then you disagree. Astrology is not an exact science. It’s a subjective topic and everyone is influenced by their own biases and previous experiences. I have to make such a big deal out of it because I really don’t want to offend anyone or lead someone to heartbreak when it doesn’t have to be that way.
But, on a lighter note, let’s begin!

Pisces as Brittany
Tumblr media
Caution: Spoilers Ahead
Brittany is, at first glance, a very simple person. The only things she cares about are her cat, and Santana. But then as you continue to see her grow into herself and her destiny, you witness the real her. Her imaginative nature is surprisingly the reason why she began to excel in the first place. She ended up helping out her own future by becoming a mathematician and discovering the fact that her true calling is math.
Brittany had, in few words, so many feelings. She only really dealt with things by talking about them on her show, “Fondue for Two.” She was always more in touch with how she felt about things than the others on the show. When her and Santana were beginning to face the fact that they felt more for each other than just friendship and “lady kisses”, she was the one who knew all along. She was the one who understood that it was more along the lines of love and she dealt with it passively, waiting until Santana caught up with her.
She always kind of lived in her own world. Like many Pisces, she was lost in the reality she created for herself, but not in a bad way. It was an escape, and a way for her to get away from her problems. She very often thought of herself as Britney Spears and had several hallucinative episodes where she became Britney. And the reason why she did that was because she was subconsciously feeling unappreciated. Being Britney Spears gave her the confidence she needed to stand up for her place in the Glee Club and get her solos and importance.

Aquarius as Artie
Tumblr media
Caution: Spoilers Ahead
Artie Abrams is your typical sweet kid. He isn’t shy, but more reserved. He isn’t very big on intense friend groups or fitting in with what’s considered “cool.” At least, not in high school. His being in a wheelchair is already enough to socially isolate him, but even though he also has one of the nicest, smoothest voices in the Glee club, he doesn’t get enough solos. He isn’t the typical “leading man” so he usually gets pushed to the sidelines to roll along with the background swayers. His storyline isn’t major, but that doesn’t keep it from being impactful.
Artie’s intelligence is one of the main reasons why I think of Aquarius as his sign. They’re known for their atypical capabilities for logic and reasoning. Artie has always been the voice of reason in the Glee Club. Realistically, they probably wouldn’t have made half the progress they did without Artie. He led the group without any hesitation. Although Finn was the decided leader of the club, Artie handled things behind the scenes. He was the leader on the low.
Artie isn’t the best at talking about his feelings, like a true air sign. He has a lot of emotions and cares very deeply about things but doesn’t know how to communicate them. He’d rather avoid confrontation than cause things when prompted. For example, when they had to fundraise for the handicap bus to Sectionals, they almost decided not to. Artie was hurt by their decision, but he told them that it was fine. He ended up telling them how he felt after he blew up, because for air signs it’s either you feel everything all at once or not at all.

Capricorn as Quinn
Tumblr media
Caution: Spoilers Ahead
Quinn Fabray is a different person depending on who you ask, really. She is, simply put, extrinsically motivated. She likes the popularity, the respect from all her peers, the good grades, the success. She isn’t one to just like things because they make her feel good. At least, she didn’t really get the concept of what that was until Glee club. She, like most of the other characters on this show, grew as the show progressed. In the first season, she was very clearly the antagonist of the show and Rachel, specifically. She was dating Finn Hudson and was aware of Rachel’s intense crush on him, so she made it her goal to make Rachel’s life a living hell. Quinn later got pregnant and Rachel’s kindness to her throughout the situation made her soften her anger towards Rachel.
Quinn has one of Capricorn’s greatest flaws: ignoring everyone else just to be able to climb the ladder of success. Quinn isn’t selfish per se (she is) but she tends to forget other people have feelings when they get in the way of what she wants. Usually it’s in the context of petty popularity, something like becoming prom queen or simply campaigning for it. She makes up for her shortsightedness by redeeming it at the last minute. She made Rachel suffer by campaigning with Finn but then gifted her the crown in the last second.
But with the Capricorn influence, Quinn has the drive to make it anywhere that she wants. This is seen when she puts her mind to getting into Yale, and does. Simple as that. This is not to say that she hasn’t had hardships in her life, because she is not lacking in those. But she always was able to power through it with a bigger, greater goal in mind. She always remade herself to give out the person she wanted to be, to get what she wants. A bit manipulative? Maybe. But brilliant, nevertheless.

Sagittarius as Rachel
Tumblr media
Caution: Spoilers Ahead
Where do we even begin with Rachel? She is the self-proclaimed “star” of the Glee club, and she just might be right. It’s always begrudgingly that people admit this fact because she is more than a little annoying. Her arrogance makes her difficult to work with, and her ego takes up all available space in a room. It makes being in the same space as her almost suffocating. The only redeeming quality she has is her incredible, dazzling talent, and her ability to be kind once in a while. She did, however get better. The younger she was, the worse she was. When she left to New York, there was improvement --for the most part. Kurt helped guide her in the right direction, but even he can’t work such miracles. From this description it might sound like I dislike her greatly, but that’s not true. She has a special place in my heart and I love her very much. The truth is just the truth. She was also in a passionate, loving on-and-off relationship with Finn Hudson, before he passed. She later went on to marry Jesse St. James, another high school sweetheart--but also antagonist-- turned to real love.
Rachel has the emotions of a fire sign, for sure. She would fall into water sign territory, but her emotions are aroused for a reason. She isn’t just moody, she’s simply amplified. She takes the smallest of occurrences and treats it as if it’s the end of the world. And she’s very effective at believing that even a small hiccup in her plans is the end of her world. At least, closer to the beginning of the show.
Rachel always somehow has the energy for anything and everything. A fact that is shown when we find out that she is the president of almost every single club at McKinley in season 1, She spends all her time practicing, and polishing her resume and herself to better her future. She is driven and motivated, but God I have no idea where she got all the time from. It seems like her day lasts longer than 24 hours.
Rachel was also very bluntly honest, but in a different way than Santana. Santana said it in a way that came off as rude and unforgiving. While Rachel said it more in a condescending “I’m just trying to help you” way.

Scorpio as Santana Lopez
Tumblr media
Santana is, in few words, an intensely fierce bitch. She was only ever really able to cultivate a love-hate relationship with the other Glee club kids because of the way she is. She had a twisted set of morals, but she stood by them to the grave. She valued honesty more than anything else, a fact which she often used an excuse when she said anything she pleased. It was her brutal truth and unchanging loyalties that led people to eventually love her. She’s more of a benign bitch, not so much with a malicious intent.
Scorpios are characterized by their intensity, and Santana fits that profile more than anything. Her intensity is evident in the way she simply carries herself. She is unapologetic in her every action. She says several insulting things that people usually just let slide because it’s Santana, and that’s how she is. Her character growth exists in that at first, she was aware that she was mean and she embraced it wholeheartedly, but throughout the show she makes a conscious effort to break out of that cycle.
Santana displays the usual water cycle traits; crying for almost no reason sometimes (see: missing out on Breadstix deals). She’s also extremely possessive. Whenever anyone so much as looks at someone she is decidedly “dating”, she goes batshit crazy. Especially when Sam started dating Brittany. The poor boy got an enemy the quickest I’ve ever seen happen. No one likes seeing the person they love with someone else, but some are better at controlling it than others. She is... obviously part of the “others.”
And, admittedly, the biggest part of why I chose Scorpio for Santana is her insane sexual nature. No one can ever disagree to the fact that Santana is one of the hottest human beings to ever walk this earth. Not only is she smoking, but she knows it. She uses it to her advantage, and I don’t know if it’s just me, but this mix makes me think she’s so fine. Her self-awareness in her own sexual magnetism is incredible.

Libra as Finn
Tumblr media
Caution: Spoilers Ahead
Finn. There is not one Glee fan who he hasn’t touched. He may be gone, but like Kurt said, how he died doesn’t matter. What matters more is how he lived. Finn was the only one capable of putting his reputation on the line for New Directions. Did he have to be kinda manipulated into it? Sure, but he was just a kid. He decided to stay, to come back to it every time. He was definitely a Big Deal, so when he joined Glee, the balance at McKinley was thrown off kilter. He helped it grow into a better school. He braved every obstacle with the group of people that ultimately became his friends for life.
Finn was always kind of the mediator. His interpersonal skills were incredible, he was usually able to find a compromise that left everyone feeling satisfied. He was able to hone into the Libra justice scales. He knew that things aren’t always black and white, and he looked to find the gray. He almost always ended up volunteering himself to help with whatever the problem is, and taking even more responsibilities to carry on his back.
Trying to name a time when Finn was completely and utterly single is almost impossible. Especially closer to the beginning of the show. If he was, it never really lasted more than a couple of weeks. I don’t think it meant that he couldn’t be alone per say, but that he didn’t want to. He loved having someone else around, loved having just anyone around. He was in love with the act of being in love, I think. In my opinion, that played a big part in why he allowed himself to be with people who weren’t really the best for him--AKA Quinn Fabray.
Although Finn regularly found himself in the midst of the endless drama that surrounds the Glee club, he didn’t always want to be a part of it. In fact, he was pretty avoidant of confrontation. It wasn’t out of fear, just that maybe he didn’t see the necessity in it. He preferred to just have the solution already rather than deal with the process of coming to it. But, don’t we all?
