Asher had expected to feel a sense of freedom after having urged himself from the clutches of the OEA, but instead that couldn’t have been further from the truth. " as amazing as that sounds , i'm craving some gelato right about now . " maybe she should start selling more than baked goods . would cure their constant cravings and bring in more customers while at it , not that the bakery ever seems to be struggling . life has changed around new orleans for whichever way you could see it . they were still at odds with the oea , but some have started to fight back .

It was hard to imagine that just a few weeks prior they had all attended a gala that ended in a bloodbath. The normalcy of life currently made it seem like it was a lifetime ago and honestly, all Skyla wanted to do was hold on to that for as long as she possibly could.
