i love that specific ao3 phenomenon where you get a sudden influx of kudos on a work and it’s clear someone shared your fic but you have no idea who they are or where they shared it. it’s like being a dickensian orphan receiving money from a mysterious benefactor.

its so unfortunate when different peoples neurodivergent traits clash horribly. like yes i totally understand that the man at the other table cant control his stimming and loud vocal tics and i think he deserves to have a nice day out at a restaraunt without judgement. however if i dont remove myself from the audible vicinity in the next 20 seconds i will explode.

attraction vs gender envy will really get you every time. took me a long time to realize I’m a lesbian because I kept mistaking wanting to look like men in my life for attraction.

meanwhile a few years ago before I really realized I’m transmasc I went to the Renn Faire with my brother and my bestie on my birthday and my brother said he’d buy me a whole outfit which is insane economically so I was in the costume booths trying on dresses and corsets and getting closer and closer to a total meltdown bc I hated how I looked in all of them and then my friend gently said hey….do you think you actually want to wear these clothes or do you think maybe you just like the way other women look in them?

and I was like : 0

went to the men’s section and loved the first thing I tried on.

Hey I know you're not a librarian, but you likely know more than I do and all my sources seem way too confusing to me. Does checking out digital books help support and fund public libraries?

I would assume so, I don't really have any sources for it but as far as I'm aware using any service that the library provides shows that there is a demand in the community for it, which would be a net positive for acquiring funding. At the end of the day they put those resources out there for a reason, so don't be shy about using them :D

I swapped out the colloidal silver nasal spray info for xylitol nasal spray info. I originally included colloidal silver spray because of the linked study and recommendation from RTHM, but I don't want to be pointing people toward something with notable health risks. Xylitol spray (Xlear) is also cheaper and more widely available!

saw a tiktok of a mother taking her very tiny daughter to an art museum and she’s just walking around going “whoooa” “woooaah” to everything but then they got to a marble statue of a nude woman lying on her back and the girl points and goes “mommy🫵” and i just immediately welled up with tears and all the comments are just laughing about it and of course it’s funny but how are you not insanely moved by the way art connects everyone on earth from a centuries-old sculptor to a toddler in 2023
