As Tink reached the tree, she called out. "Peter?!" Even with them both being in relatively the same place, this whole invisible to each other thing was pretty difficult. But suddenly she got an idea! And this time she was sure it'd work! The tinker fairy fluttered over to a leaf filled branch and plucked one off. Carrying it back to mid tree trunk, she spoke. "Do ya see the floating leaf?"
The mermaids were never good sports when she messed with them, and Hook was always great fun to play tricks on, so she figured he was as good as anyone to start off with. Plus, she knew how much joy Peter got from pulling a good prank on that smelly old pirate. "Hook it is!" As Peter listed off his ideas, Tink took each suggestion into consideration. "Hmm... what if we spill honey on him first to get him good and sticky, then drop the flowers?!"

With pixie dust falling beneath her, Tink leaned back into the air getting a good laugh in over Tim's threat.

"Okay, whatever ya say, Tim. I guess we'll just have to see." The tiny pixie pulled out the last of her pixie dust and sprinkled in onto her mouse friend. "Alright, first one to the water's edge wins!"
Almost Perfect || Tink & Timothy Mouse
The mouse went back to standing as still as was natural to him, his ears perking up as he listened to the fairy’s proposition. “Too afraid? Ta race you?” He made a dismissive noise, crossed his arms and smirked. “With an even playin’ field now, I have a feelin’ that yer gonna eat yer own woirds, Tink.” Holding his hand out and motioning to her, Tim added, “If you may do the honors, we’ll begin on your call.”

The tinker fairy's rambling continued on until Tim began talking about someplace called New York. "What's that?" She asked full of curiosity. "Are there human people there?!" It wasn't so much the humans that fascinated her, as it was their stuff. In her experience.... not that she had too much of it... wherever there were humans, there was also tons and tons of lost things!
Mainland Lessons || Tinkerbell & Timothy Mouse
"An’ I can show ya all around, too!" he continued to ramble on, almost under the fairy’s sudden chattering. The mouse’s thoughts were going a mile a minute, though time would tell if it was going nearly the speed that Tink’s was going. "I’ll take ya ta New York, show ya around the city, we could all go flyin’, an’ it’ll be great!"
Timothy paused to take a few breaths. “Pixie dust?” he repeated, tilting his head. “Is that how we’ll get outta here? We both need it. Right?”

Tink was listening as best she could in all her excitement, but she soon zoned out. It wasn't until Tim mentioned the Mainland that she snapped out her own little world. She grinned over at him. "Yep, sure do!" Nodded the pixie, as she thought to herself -- what else would I call it?
The wheels in her head began to turn. Maybe if she could save up enough pixie dust this month, she could collect enough to get both her and Timothy to the mainland! It would be difficult, but she was convinced she could do it. Skipping entirely over everything he'd just said, she began rambling at an impressive pace. ".... And if I got us the pixie dust, we could both go! .... You cold take me ....  and show me.... and...." When she got an idea planted in her head like this, it was almost impossible to get her to stop.
Mainland Lessons || Tinkerbell & Timothy Mouse
Tinkerbell’s expression and excitement just about made Timothy’s entire day. She seemed to take everything he was saying with wide eyes and an open mind. It was endearing, in a way, and seemed to strike the mouse as a will to explore, much like he wanted to do back when he was still confined to the alleyways and streets of Brooklyn when he was younger.
A smile soon formed when he heard the fairy’s question. “Well, if I can find a way ta get back to…” He paused. “… you call it the Mainland, right? Anyway, if I can find a way to get back there, I can arrange for you to meet a very good friend of mine, who just so happens ta be an elephant!” Timothy chuckled a bit. “Funny, most elephants are afraid of mice, but me ‘n Dumbo seem ta be the exception. You’re gonna love ‘im, Tink!”

Tink lifted her hand over her mouth with a giggle. "Alight, Tim." She paused for a moment, realizing that today was the last day before she'd be due for another allotment of pixie dust. "Actually, I do have a little extra dust this week." A smirk came over her face. "What do ya say? Are you up for it, or are you still too afraid to race me?"
Almost Perfect || Tink & Timothy Mouse
He slowed to a stop, trying to catch his breath. “Tink?” he started, panting with a huge grin on his face. “Reminde me ta never do that again. Or, if I do an’ ya do wanna race, pixie dust. Pixie dust ta level ev’rything out.” Smiling up at her, Timothy nodded at her. “Lead the way,” the mouse said with an outstretched hand, almost taking a step forward.

While continuing to flutter forward, TInk turned her head back around with a glare. "Just hold on a minute." This dog was without a doubt the most pretentious, impatient animal she'd ever met.
Upon arriving back, she replied. "Just trust me." The tinker fairy then took the stems that had been assembled into a rope and tied one end to the canine's collar and wrapped the other around the trunk of a nearby tree. "Alright. On the count of three I'm going to pull and you try to flip yourself upright." She exhaled deeply, mumbling under her breath. "I hope this works."
The pug continued to sniff at the fairy. He started to chase Tink when she fluttered off and barked at her. "Hey! Don't run from me you, Whatever-you-are!" he told her through growls and yips. When she stopped he felt triumphant for a moment.
For several moments Tink just hovered there, trying to decide whether the annoying creature was done yapping. Once she decided that he was finished, the tiny fairy fluttered up to him shaking her finger at him, jingling furiously.

For a moment she just kept going, but it soon sunk in that Timothy was right. There was no way that she could lose, and in the interest of avoiding whatever conversation might follow if she didn't, the tinker fairy turned back to meet her friend, rolling her eyes ever so slightly. In her head, she thought to herself. He shouldn't have proposed a race, if he knew it was going to be unfair. But for once she kept it to herself. "All right. All right. It's not much further anyway. Just past the rest of the Summerglade meadow."
Almost Perfect || Tink & Timothy Mouse
In retrospect, Timothy should’ve asked for some pixie dust to level the field out for this little race. The only reason that had crossed his mind now was that he soon saw Tinkerbell in front of him, fluttering away like it was nothing. “Come on!” he called out, sprinting to try and catch up with her. “You have an unfair advantage!”

The tiny fairy didn't object to the proposal of a race, but all the while knew she had a bit of an unfair advantage having wings and all.  "Are you sure you wanna...." She started, but it was too late. Timothy was already off. Tink flittered out as quick as her wings would carry her, and in no time at all pulled ahead of her little mouse friend. "Last one there's a stale sunflower seed!"

He was glad that the fairy was taking the offer well. “All roight, then!” Timothy said, sharing her enthusiasm. “Race ya down to the beach, then! Onyermark, getset,GO!” The mouse sprinted out ahead, having no idea where he was going (at least, he thought he saw Tink flutter in this direction) but laughing all the same.

Tink was far past aggravated with the pug, but something in her was pushing her to help. Sometimes she hated when her conscious insisted on interfering like this.  "Ugh." The pixie let out a sigh and crossed her arms. For a few moments she just stared at the canine. Then, an idea finally came to her. "I'll be right back." She fluttered off, returning with a rope made from flower stems all tied together. "Now, just hold still, okay?"
The pug continued to sniff at the fairy. He started to chase Tink when she fluttered off and barked at her. "Hey! Don't run from me you, Whatever-you-are!" he told her through growls and yips. When she stopped he felt triumphant for a moment.

It only took about a split second for Tink to get defensive again. “And you think I’M dirty? Hmph.” She turned her back to him and crossed her arms in frustration, pretending not to listen to a word he barked. After he’d stopped his yapping, she stubbornly turned back around. “And just how do you think I’m going to help you without touching your precious fur?”
The pug continued to sniff at the fairy. He started to chase Tink when she fluttered off and barked at her. "Hey! Don't run from me you, Whatever-you-are!" he told her through growls and yips. When she stopped he felt triumphant for a moment.

Tink hadn't encountered many dogs before, in fact, this one was the first. She had heard many stories about them though, and was not aware that they were so particular about their fur. It seemed a little strange to her, but she shrugged it off figuring that Fawn had forgotten to mention this detail about them.
Tink backed away from the dog after he'd barked at her, not that she'd even been that close to him anyway. "Geez, alright, alright. I didn't realize dog's were so particular about their fur."
The pug continued to sniff at the fairy. He started to chase Tink when she fluttered off and barked at her. "Hey! Don't run from me you, Whatever-you-are!" he told her through growls and yips. When she stopped he felt triumphant for a moment.

Satisfied that Tim was at least going to help her look for another lost thing, Tink was quick to suggest her favourite spot to find human treasures. "The beach always has the best stuff! Come on!" Exclaimed the tiny tinker fairy already flittering into the air.

"Tink, calm yer wings, ya didn’t know," the mouse reassured her, storing the pin back away in his coat. "I’ll help ya find more things, sure." Tapping his chin, Timothy looked around. "Now, where’d be a good place ta start lookin’?"

Tink continued to turn in circles searching for Peter, before realizing that their wish must have been granted! "Right here!" She exclaimed with a slight giggle, as she slowly began to grasp what had happened. "Maybe we should uh... both fly over to the trunk of that big tree right there, so we can find each other?"
"Guess so! This is pretty cool!" Quick as could be to agree to Peter's suggestion, Tink asked with excitement. "Definitely! Who do want to play tricks on first? Hook? Smee? The mermaids?"

Tink felt the warmth on her hands as they wished together. Reluctantly, she slowly opened one eye to see what had happened. Once she realized nothing seemed to be too different, she let both eyes open fully. "Not sure." She replied as she looked around.
"Peter?" she said softly. After a few moments and still no sign of him she repeated herself, but in a much higher volume."PETER?!"

Tink took a second look at her new lost thing and realized that Tim was probably right. She had seen it before. "Yeah." She replied as she handed it back to her friend. "I guess I'll just have to keep looking then."

After she took a moment to calm herself down, she asked. "Will you help me, Tim?"

"Yeah, sure." She jingled back in relief. The tiny tinker hovered above him for a second, debating on the best plan of action. Only a few moments proceeding, the balls of her feet came in contact with the ground. "Maybe I can just give you a push from back here." Walking around to the dogs backside, she gave him a good push.
The pug continued to sniff at the fairy. He started to chase Tink when she fluttered off and barked at her. "Hey! Don't run from me you, Whatever-you-are!" he told her through growls and yips. When she stopped he felt triumphant for a moment.
