Your blog sucks
You seemed to be having a bad day. you know my last couple of weeks haven't been the greatest either.
I'm sorry you're having a bad day maybe even having a bad week, or a month could even be a rough couple of years.
But you know you can always do this magical thing to make it your day better. When you read something or view something you don't like online - you can just exit out of it and go onto something that does make you happy.
for example, I love cats, so I go on and watch cat videos on Tiktok or go watch youtube videos of comedians or things that make me smile.
My blog may suck to you, but to other people, it might not be so bad. I don't think it sucks. But you are entitled to your opinion, doesn't mean I have to take your opinion to heart nor does it mean your opinion gets to ruin my day.
If you would like to send me more messages as to why my blog sucks, which in ways I can approve I will gladly take that constructive criticism.
Till then, you will be ignored.
Tumblr media
Also just letting people know why I haven't been posting, it's mainly because I haven't been writing. I'm back in school right now and haven't gotten any inspiration. My nose has been in history books so writing for fun hasn't been an option. I will hopefully be back soon.

“This is real. You’re real, I’m real. I need you to come back to reality.”

Half the city was on fire. Xiao Nai, covered in blood once more, felt his sword slip in his grip, trying to get himself steady from the exhaustion of battle.  K.O.’s brother had been defeated.  His home city half destroyed, he had made his way to his house only to find it a blaze.  Yu Banshan sat behind him, his sword holding him up, a gash on his arm was deep but not life threatening.
“She’s gone.”  he whispered, looking around to see if anyone or anything could have made it out.  Slamming to the ground, he felt tears fall.  Knowing in that moment he would have traded 10 million lives if it meant she would be in front of him.
Out from behind a house, a man came charging at them, but before Yu Banshan could protect his general, an arrow found its mark in bedded in his chest, making the man fall in front of them.  Both sets of eyes landed on a disheveled women.  Running over, she threw down her bow, placing her hands on Xiao Nai’s face.
“This isn’t real.”  he whispered, whipping some dirt from her face.
“This is real, you’re real, I’m real…”  It was almost like she was saying it to both of them.  “I need you to come back to reality.  I need to come back. You’re here.”  She whispered.  He kissed her forehead, wrapping his arms around her.  His wife, his Weiwei.
“I’m sorry I took so long.”  He kissed both cheeks, his lips finding hers.  She held him tight, feeling safe once more since he left.  Her husband, her Xiao Nai.

“You’re such a needy baby.”
“SISI!”  Yu Banshan called from the bathroom.
“You’re such a  needy baby!”  She called back, walking into the bathroom.  Yu Banshan had his head out from behind the shower curtain.  “What?”  she called.  He motioned for to come forward.  “What?”  the moment she was near, an evil grin spread over his face, pulling her under the water with him. She squealed feeling her clothes begin to stick to her, laughter over taking her.
“Yu Banshan!”  She yelled, laughing.  He tickled her, kissing her neck.
“Help me shower.”  He grinned evilly at his girlfriend.  She slapped his hands away, only to have him pull on her shirt closer to him.
“I’m all wet.”  She complained.
“Well then there’s no reason for you stay in those clothes.”  Yu Banshan and her burst into a fit of laughter.

“Losing you was the most unbearable pain I’ve ever felt.”
Connected to Level’s 2.2 & 2.10
Xiao Nai felt a presence in his room, that woke him with a start.  Sitting up straight, he looked at the corner of his room, where his window to his balcony overlooking the ocean let in a soft breeze.  The wind had knocked his doors open.  Sighing he stood up, locking the glass doors. The feeling of the presence before had moved behind him.  He wasn’t scared, his hand still began to tremble for a different reason.
“If I turn around, will you still be there or am I still dreaming?”
“You still dream about me?”  Her voice soft and melodic, just as he remembered.
“I never stopped.”  Turning he came face to face with his wife, Weiwei. It had been close to 4 years since she had disappeared back into the ocean.  Tears threatened to fall from her eyes.  He took a step toward her, causing her to take a step back.  Reaching out, he wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her into him, his lips finding hers.  Her arms wrapping around his neck holding him tighter to her.
“I missed you.”  She kissed his lips, his nose, his cheeks, any surface she could connect to.
“You’re not leaving me again.  Please.”  He begged, hugging her to himself.  “Losing you was the most unbearable pain, I’ve ever felt.”
“I’m not.  I promise.”   He kissed her again, walking her backwards.  “Xiao Nai-”
“I love you.”  He murmured against her lips, his happiness was back in his life.  He had made a promise to himself that he was going to tell her that as much as he could.  Never letting her forget it.  With each kiss he placed, he imprinted the message on her skin.

“I’ve been calling you. I left voicemails - where were you?”
K.O. walked into his apartment he shared with Hao Mei.  It was one they had gotten together to be closer to work.  One that they both could call their own.  After getting caught in the rain, K.O. was soaked from head to toe.  His shoes sloshed as he walked through the door.  The moment the door closed behind him, a body ran into him, knocking him against it.
“Hao Mei?”  He asked tentatively, hearing his boyfriend crying into his shoulder.  He went to reach for the light but remembered the elevator didn’t work on his way up.  Only the Emergency lights in the hall way.
“I’ve been calling you!  I left voicemails...where were you?”  He asked.  K.O. dropped the bag of food he had gotten from them, wrapping his arms around him.
“My phone died.  It got water in it from the storm.”  He patted his back.  “You know I was just going to get food.”
“Yes, but the news kept saying about an accident where you normally go…”  He pulled his head from his shoulder, whipping his eyes with the palms of his hands.  K.O. titled his head kissing him.
“I’m fine. Okay?  I’m sorry my phone got water damage.  I brought you food, though whether or not the rain ruined it, I still don’t know.”
“There’s no lights.”
“We have candles.”  He gave his shoulder a little tossle, earning a smile from him.

Tian Sisi walked past a door, only to be pulled into a closet with Yu Banshan, holding a hand over her mouth.  She was visiting Weiwei at their office.
“Whatever you do, don’t make a sound.”  He whispered.  They heard footsteps running past the door.  Once they past by quickly enough, Tian Sisi, gave Yu banshan a little shove.
“What is going on?”
“Hide and seek with everyone in the office.”  Yu banshan wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her into him.
“What are you doing?”  She smiled up at him, while he cupped her face bring her lips to meet his.

“My brother will most likely attack, the villages first forcing them to go into the city walls before coming for his true prize.”  K.O. motioned to the area on the map, his hands still bound.  Xiao Nai looked at the city, his bride still waited for him there.
“We need to alert the city.”  Xiao Nai stated quickly.
“The village’s are the first ones that need warning.”  Qiu Yonghou indicated to the surrounding villages.  “They will be the ones first attacked.”
“We need to split up-”
“If the city is alerted before the villages, there will be mass panic.”  Hao Mei added only to receive a shaking head no from  Xiao Nai.
“You would risk the lives of millions for one person?”  Yu Banshan called out his general.  The look that came between them, indicated what he knew he was truly thinking about.
“What is he talking about?”  Hao Mei questioned, looking between the two friends.
“Alerting the city first give them time to amount guards and warriors.”
“It gives the villages no time to do the same.  With the amount of warriors he has, this means millions of lives  You think she would want that.”  Xiao Nai gripped his sword handle tightly, breathing in deeply.
“What is he talking about?”
“You’re wife.”  K.O. spoke, drawing the attention from his captors.  “She’s in the city.”
“They were married right before he left.”  Yu Banshan, pointed to the city.  “His home in located five miles from the palace.  She’s there waiting.”
“Xiao Nai-”
“Alert the villagers first.  I need a falcon.”  He left the tent, knowing Weiwei wouldn’t want him to leave behind millions for her.

Weiwei heard noise coming from below.  Sitting up in bed, the slamming of a body against a wall, drew her from her bed.  Grabbing the baseball bat, she made her way down the stairs wondering where the guards were.  Taking a turn, she saw Xiao Nai’s office door open, his knuckles glinted silver in the light, brass knuckles she knew he kept in his pocket and a man tied to a chair being picked up by his men.  Xiao Nai looked over, seeing her with the bat.  Sliding the brass off, he walked out of the door, closing the scene behind him.
“What are you doing up?”
“I heard movement.”  She tried to peer around his shoulder again.  Tilting her chin to look up at him he nodded to the bat.
“What were you going to do, beat him to death.”
“It wouldn’t be the first person.”
“Your MO is poison, violence was never your thing.”  Weiwei shrugged her shoulders, gleaming up at him.
“Go back to bed.”
“Why are you beating a man?”
“For information.”
“What kind of information.”
“Weiwei-”
“If I’m going to remain here, Boss Xiao, I don’t like to kept in the dark.”  She moved his hand from her face, squaring her shoulders.
“To keep you safe, I would do anything.  Including keeping you in the dark.”  He moved her hair behind her ear.
“Keeping people in the dark never keeps them safe, only keeps them in a cage.”  Turning on her heels, Before she took a step further, Xiao Nai pulled her arm back, grabbing the bat from her.
“Hey!”  She went to reach for it, but he only slide an arm around her waist pulling her flushed against him.
“You’re not in a cage.  You’re free to go whenever you like.”
“You know if I leave, He’ll kill me.”
“Whom do you think I’m getting information about?”  He went to lean down to kiss her lips, but paused.  Changing route, he kissed her forehead, his lips lingering a few seconds longer then usual.  “Go back to bed, I’ll inform you of the progress in the morning.”
“I want my bat back.”  Weiwei, pushed off of him, trying to hid her racing heart.

“You should talk to her.” - “And have her hear me? No thank you.”
Tian Sisi was visiting Weiwei at the office again.  She wasn’t the only one, Er Xi and Xiao Ling were with her but Yu Banshan only had eyes Sisi.  Him and the other guys were looking at the four girls in the small meeting room having a cup of coffee.
“I think she somehow got prettier.”  Yu Banshan muttered to himself.
“You should talk to her.”  Qiu Yonghou nodded to the girls.  He knew which one Yu Banshan had a crush on.
“And have her hear me? No, Thank you.”  He shrugged off his friends hand from his shoulder shaking his head.  “Knowing me, I’ll get a idiom wrong again and lose face.”
“You never had face to begin with.”  Xiao Nai spoke quickly walking over to the meeting room.
“Nice to see he hasn’t lost his touch.”  Hao Mei gave Yu Banshan a pat on the back.  The girls attention were all drawn to him, their eyes looking past to see the men in the office watching them.
“They can see us.”  Qiu Younghou, walked away first, everyone else scattering like chickens.  Yu Banshan turned to leave, but realized they were all at his desk.  He called over to someone, walking over to a confused looking intern.

“Sounds good.”  His mind focused solely on the code, giving a vague answer.
“It sounds good that my childhood dog died?”
“What?  Sorry I didn’t hear a word you just said.”  K.O. half spoke.  Hao Mei pulled on his chair twirling him to face him.
“I have been pouring my heart out for you for the past half hour and you telling you about my dog Snickers and you haven’t even been listening?”  He yelled.

“I can braid your hair for you…if you’d like.”
Weiwei sat at the computer, her hair down around her shoulders.  She found a place to work in Xiao Nai’s office, comfortable on the floor.   Computer running the latest update of a Chinese Ghost Story, testing out the site to make sure the update had been perfect.  She chewed on a twizzler, pulling her hair to the side.  Finally done with the struggles of her long hair she pulled at her wrists, she realizing that once more she had forgotten a hair tie.  Sighing, she brushed her hair behind her ear one more time, hoping it wouldn’t annoy her too much.
“I can braid your hair for you...if you’d like.”  Xiao Nai offered, sliding in behind her.  “Why are you sitting on the ground again?”  He asked, pulling her hair back from her face.  She felt his fingers skim under her hairline.
“It’s comfy and my back was bothering me earlier.”  He made a humming noise, his fingers sliding through her hair softly.  The gentle tug comforting.
“Where did you learn to braid hair?”  She asked, drumming against the table.  She felt the strands being interlocked in three different places, until he tied it at the back.
“My mother used to have really long hair.  She would forget to tie it up when she came home to work.  She would be cooking and my dad would do a quick braid while she kept preparing the meal.  Always in a rush, the both of them.  I noticed you would forget your hair ties or they would break often, so I got a pack.  Their in my desk when you need them.”  Weiwei ran a hand over the single strand in the back, feeling a sense of love. A tenderness of care she longed for.
“Thank you.”  She smiled when he leaned down kissing her forehead.

It had been a month since Bei Weiwei had been home.  Their two sons were standing up closer to land watching their father pace back and forth on the sand.
“He’s finally lost it hasn’t he?”  Ming Yue whispered to his brother.  The two teenagers saw their father pause catching something in the waters.  To them, it looked like a really big fish tail.
“I know your there!”  Their father yelled out at the water.
“Now he’s talking to fish… Mom leaving him really has made him lose his marbles hasn’t it.”  Ming Yue joked.  He turned to see how serious his older brother’s face had turned.  “Cong Cong?”
“Shut up.”  He whispered, gripping his knee tightly.  Xiao Nai grabbed a rock throwing it at the fish which quickly bee line for the shore.
“What is that?”  Ming Yue went to run towards their father who stood perfectly still but Cong Cong held him back.
“Remember dad said not to step on the sand.” Suddenly a person’s top half emerged from the water, a woman with long black hair similar to their mothers.   Slowly she moved out of the ocean, the water foam forming into almost a silk like material dress.  A spear of bone in her hand long and ready to kill.
“You got my attention Land Dweller.”
“I want my wife.”
“She’s not your wife.  I never gave my blessing.  She’s not your kind, so she doesn’t abide by your peoples rule.”  The women’s eyes looked behind Xiao Nai meeting the two boys who took a step back from the power in her gaze.  Xiao Nai stepped in front grabbing her attention once more.
“You take me instead.”  The women seemed to ignore him, stepping to look once more at his sons.  “Do you hear me? Give her back and take me instead.”
“The only thing that would happen is I would drown you.  My daughter’s foolish to think any life with you is a life at all.”
“Give her back!”  The end of the jagged bone ended up pointing directly at his throat.
“You have no power to command me, Land Dweller!”  Her voice vibrating through his system. Xiao Nai did not flinch, he merely glared at her.
“You won’t be able to hide them from us forever.  You and Weiwei were naive to think we didn’t know.”
“You will not take them.”  He stepped closer, a small trickle of blood coming from his neck.
“They will seek us out. Once they finally touch the water.”  He felt her remove the bone from his neck turning with a smile.
“Whatever deal she made with you, undo it!”
“The deal means I can not kill you or have you killed and that I do not take your sons from you until they wish it to be.”  She turned back, the end of her gown turning back into foam with every brush of the wave.
“What do you get?”  Xiao Nai took a step closer, feeling the edge of the water brush his feet.
“My heir to my throne.”  With that she walked back into the water disappearing completely.  Cong Cong and Ming Yue raced towards their father.  Cong Cong grabbed a cloth from his pocket pressing it against the wound on his neck.
“Dad who was that?”
“What is that?”
“That is your grandmother.  Queen Chen Fang of the Eastern Seas.”
“Mom’s a princess? And a fish?”  Ming Yue looked shocked at both of them.  “You knew didn’t you?”  He yelled at Cong Cong.
“Dad?”  Cong Cong ignored his brother.  “Mom’s not coming back is she?”  Xiao Nai’s eyes filled with sadness looking out at the water.  His eyes scanning the ocean top like he had since he found her after a hurricane 15 years ago.
“She will.  Your mother never breaks a promise.”

“I told you that I’d never leave you; I’m not going anywhere.”
The last thing Tian Sisi remembered had been yelling at Yu Banshan that she was better off dead then being a burden his life anymore.  A splitting headache and the glare of bright lights greeted her the next second she opened her eyes.  Despite the lights being bright, the room was actually dim when her eyes adjusted.  Weiwei had her eyes closed sleeping on Xiao Nai’s shoulder, while he typed away on his laptop.   Hao Mei had draped himself over a chair a blanket covering him.   Her eyes scanning to find him, the one person she wanted most.  The ache in her chest ceased the moment she found him squeezing her hand on her right.  His head braced against the bed, while both hands were holding on to her for dear life.  Yu Banshan had fallen asleep holding her.
K.O. came into the room with Qiu Yonghou carrying food and coffee.  He noticed her awake, gently nudging Yu Banshan.  He sat up opening his eyes to find her eyes starring into his.
“Sisi.”  He sat up, kissing her forehead.
“What happened?”  She spoke, only voice came out hoarse and quiet.  She lifted her let hand only to see it wrapped in a cast.
“After you ran out, I found you in the street.  Someone ran over you with their car and fled.  I was only a second or two after you, but your faster than you think you are when your mad.”  He kissed her knuckles holding her good hand close to his heart.  It beat rapidly, under her touch.  Sisi began to cry, Weiwei came over quickly wiping them away.
“Hey-”
“My parents?”  She asked her friend.
“On their way.  The storm is causing some issues but they’ll be here soon.”
“I’ll go let go get the doctor.”  Qiu Yonghou ventured.  Turning back to Yu Banshan, she squeezed his hand tightly.
“I thought-I said horrible things… I-”
“I told you that I’d never leave you; I’m not going anywhere.  Didn’t I promise you that?”
“I’m sorry.”
“There is nothing to apologize for.  I haven’t been the best boyfriend.  Choosing work over you too many times.  It won’t happen again.  I love you Sisi.”  His kissed her knuckles wiping a tear from her eye.  Sisi, raised her hand, running her thumb over his own.
“I love you too.”

“Wait! Something doesn't feel right.”  Hao mei held his arms out, his robot waiting at the ready behind him.
“Why do you always do this?”  Yu Banshan yelled at him over their computers breaking their concentration from the game.  Qiu Yonghou sat opposite of Hao Mei glaring at him over his own screen.
“Something doesn’t feel right! I think we are about to encounter one of the biggest bosses roaming the world yet!”  He exclaimed happily.  Suddenly their attention went back to their screens.  A new boss did not emerge, yet a hoard of 2 point mini demons swarmed around them blocking their path.
“Way to go, you summoned the hoard of annoyance.”  Yu Banshan shook his head.  Both Qiu Yonghou and himself watched Hao Mei take care of the hoard only venturing out to keep them from loosing any points themselves.

 “Did you hear that?”
Xiao Nai stood behind his wife, while she brushed out her hair from her shower.  Her red fluffy robe he had gotten for her birthday wound tightly around herself.
“I’ll be by the office no later than two, to process payroll.”  Weiwei confirmed to her husband.  She wondered what he was thinking under that facade of his.  “Xiao Nai?”  She asked.  Xiao Nai took this as a que to take her hair brush from her, spinning her around.  Weiwei gazed up at him shocked, while he smiled at her.  Lips connecting with hers.
Xiao Nai gripped his wife’s waist tightly, lifting her up onto the counter.  His hands cupping her face before slowly moving down her throat.  Kissing her deeply, Xiao Nai gripped the string of her robe tightly in his hand, pulling it slowly.
“Did you hear that?”  Weiwei asked, once his lips moved from her mouth.  Traveling down her jaw to that spot on her neck he knew she loved.
“I didn’t hear anything.”  His hands sliding the robe down her shoulders, her legs wrapped around his waist.  Xiao Nai kissed down to her collar bone.
“Xiao Nai-” Weiwei gripped the robe to herself keeping it from dropping off.
“Dad! Mama!”  A loud voice rang out, halting Xiao Nai’s movements.  “Dad? Mama?”  The voice spoke again, causing Xiao Nai to pinch the bridge of his nose before unwrapping her from around him and standing next to the closed bathroom door.
“Cong Cong is there an issue?”  Xiao Nai called while Weiwei pulled her robe back up tying it.  He gave her a look, which she only smiled back.
“You remember you promised to take Ming Yue and myself to school right?” the 14 year old ventured out.  His voice know unsure.
“It’s Thursday…” Wewiei reminded her husband.
“I’ll be right out, go wait with your brother in the living room.”  Xiao Nai walked back over to his wife, kissing her one more time.  “I’ll be back in 30 minutes. Don’t move, don’t get dressed, just stay exactly like this.”
“Honey, It’s Beijing, you won’t be back for another two hours with the morning traffic.  I have brunch plans with the girls and you have to go to work.  I’ll be at work later anyway.  I’m processing the new app program and payroll. Remember?”
“Fine...but tonight-”
“I’ll wear the red silk night dress.”  Weiwei cut him off, kissing him a blush on her cheeks.  Xiao Nai went to intensify the kiss once more but his other son called out.
“Dad We’re going to be late.” Ming Yue’s frantic voice echoed throughout the room.
“I should have sent them to boarding school…”  Xiao Nai muttered earning a giggle from his wife.

“You broke me and now you expect me to follow you out onto the battlefield? No. The answer is no.”
Hao Mei threw down his sword drenched in blood, armour coated in the horror of war.  Yu Banshan and Qiu Yonghou sat exhausted from the battle.  They had just managed to escape from an ambush with their lives with their general Xiao Nai.  The general himself sat by the river, washing his hands trying to get them clean.  Images of what happened followed his mind, screams of their comrades who will never scream again.
Their own spoil of battle sat bound to a tree.  The Man they only knew as K.O., one they once called friend and ally, is the enemies brother.  His armour laid a pile, sword thrown into the ground.  Hao Mei knelt in front of him, hands tightening ones bounding his.
“I don’t want to fight against you.  I want to fight with you.”  He gripped his one free hand, pleading.  Hao Mei tore it out, shaking his head.
“You broke me…”  Hao Mei placed a hand over his heart.  There in the moment of silence between them, something unspoken that they weren’t allowed to voice echoed loud between the two.  “And now you expect me to follow you into the battlefield.”
“Not follow-”
“No.  The answer is no.”
“I just want to fight with you.  I don’t want to be on his side, I don’t have to be.”  This time it grabbed the attention of the other three men.  Their focus on their captive.
“You gave them our location, men died!”  Hao Mei yelled.
“They were going to kill you! They already had your location, I gave nothing away.  Hao Mei… I am not your enemy.”  He pleaded once more with the one who knew him the best.  Xiao Nai returned from the river, red water dripping from his hands.
“He stays tied until we are back at camp.”  The General gave the final verdict.  He would not die right now.
“If there’s a camp to return to…” Yu Banshan threw a knife into the ground, picking it back up.
“I’m not dying here.  I’m dying in my bed next to my wife.”  Xiao Nai, turned to his three friends and captive.  “Where do you want to die?”  He looked K.O. directly, a test.  His eyes briefly flashing to Hao mei, but chose to remain silence.  Hao Mei, he wanted to die with Hao Mei next to him.

"You'll catch me, right?" - "Always."
Yu Banshan held his skateboard out to Tian Sisi to take. She had on elbow and knee pads, her helmet on tightly. The image reminded him of his high school days when he first learned to skate. Her big brown eyes glanced up at him, hypnotizing. It had been moments like this that the knew he could never deny her anything.
"You said you wanted to try." Yu Banshan reminded her, his tone teasing. They were at a skate park on a small ramp while younger kids were flying by without any extra padding.
"I did." The image of him riding the board had been enough to entice her to learn with another vision of them riding side by side in the sunset made her yearn to learn faster. Tian Sisi took the board, dropping it at her feet. She took one step on it, feeling it rock back and forth trying to understand her balance. Yu banshan held onto her hands, steadying her until she fully jumped on.
"You'll catch me, right?" Tians Sisi had a death grip on his hands. Panic slowly coming once she realized she had left solid ground.
"Always." He smiled at his girlfriend walking a few steps with her. Her smile and confidence on the board grew with each passing second. Moments like these were ones Yu Banshan never wanted to give back or lose.
