Graphic design artist Moataz Abu Sakran has provided extensive documentation of the genocide against Gaza. His photos and videos have been used—often without credit—by major media outlets, and his posts are featured on this blog regularly.

Moataz and his wife and baby girl are trapped in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital complex. The area has been under complete siege for 10 days, and life is extremely difficult and dangerous. In addition to the physical violence of the ongoing siege, the occupation’s famine has made food extremely scarce—Moataz can no longer find milk and nutritious food for baby Maria.

For weeks he has been trying to put together funds to evacuate his family, but donations have stalled, and there is still quite a way to go before they have enough to evacuate.

There was an increase in donations after we initially shared the link on this blog. We are hoping that will happen again. Please support Moataz’s family via this link so that they can reach safety. this drink is gonna be soo tasty, i thought, mixing my coffee (that also contained almond based creamer and caramel syrup) with apple whiskey, not having realised just yet that it had been 3 days since making said Unrefrigerated coffee (i have slept about 6 times in increasingly bizarre bursts at increasingly bizarre times, so time is lost on me). It smells and tastes of rotten fruit and the distinct sensation of this should not be in my body. i still drank about half of the glass because there was still the normal flavours that were Supposed to be there but eventually it tasted too much like i dunked a rotten apple in isopropyl.

Now, if you want to drink a Normal caramel apple, i suggest forgoing the coffee (the bitterness interacts with the apple taste strangely) and just going for whiskey, creamer (a vanilla-y based flavour is preferable), and good old caramel syrup or sauce. add to your liking. if you are drinking it the day you take most of these things out of the fridge you will have a good time!
