Love is a large word with lots of meaning in it. It can make you do crazy things that you may enjoy so much then later realize that you we're getting too ahead of yourself. "Footnote to Youth" was something that can prove that love may let you think of doing something so daring. When Dodong said "I am going to marry Teang." to his Dad, all I can think of was Wow, he seemed so sure of his decision. Later on, when Teang gave birth to so many children, she had wished that she hadn't married so early. She realized that there were dreams that she hadn't fulfilled because of loving so early. On "When I Was One-and-Twenty", the line "And I am two-and-twenty, and oh, 'tis true, 'tis true." proved that she got too much ahead of herself. It didn't clearly said that it was because of love but let's assume that it is.
Both pieces convey one idea: Regret is  always an exchange for the temporary happiness that you're feeling. One cannot just simply change the past to fix the mistake. All you can do is suck it up and wished that you didn't have done it. Both pieces served as a lesson that one musn't be careless and in a hurry in things. One must think it thoroughly before doing something that may affect everything.
The ideas were expressed in a clear manner. The authors chose an idea wherein regrets can be easily found. In the "Footnote to Youth", early marriage and having tons of kids while in "When I Was One-and-Twenty" is losing too much of yourself. The authors ended both pieces in a way where a subjective lesson can be seen and can mark in the minds of everyone.

Poem Analysis: I do not love you except because I love you
This poem is about someone who foolishly loved a girl so much that he forgot to think of himself. Although at some part, he knew that he was the only one who will be hurt. Still, he chose to pretend that he didn't know and love her for all that he can. The persona's trying to let us seen how much a person could go and sacrifice everything for love. And by reading this poem, you can imagine yourself slowly letting go of the rope that's causing you to be bruised and hurt even though it's hard.
While reading this poem, one can identify that the poem's theme is being sad yet still in love. Being sad that he gave all that he could, did all that he can, but still being utterly in love with someone who doesn't feel the same. Which is a result of being hopelessly in love. "I do not see you but love you blindly" is the only imagine that can be seen in the poem. The sense of sight is present and it simply implies that being able to see someone everyday isn't the true meaning of being in love. Although he doesn't see her that often, he still loves her nonetheless.
The poem doesn't have a rhyming scheme, maybe the author's simply letting out the thoughts that's capturing his heart and mind. It also has an iambic sound pattern.
Pablo Neruda caught my attention in this poem. It just proves that people can be crazy in love. Up to the point where it's okay that you'll be in so much pain in the end. I've once felt this before, being too foolish that I'm covering up the fact that I'm the only one who's being in love. Believing that we could be together someday, and reality hits you hard that you realize and slowly knew that you were holding onto something that wasn't really yours. Pablo Neruda punched me right to the feels and brought back the pain that molded me into what I am now. This poem made me think on how grateful I am for the pain that I've once felt.

Hunger.  One of the main problems that our world faces.  Many people don't even eat three times a day and surely there are people who doesn't eat at all.  According to the article "World Hunger" by Masonz, York,  PA, there are currently 925 million people that are starving in the world today.  Just by seeing this article, all I could think and feel of is conscience and pity for that 925 million people.   In this article the author used persuasion and conviction by stating facts about the article that gives us a lot of ideas on what is happening around the world because of hunger.  There are about 925 million people who's stomach is starving and there are 19 million people who are comfortable with their living. In the use of persuasion the author used to have an emotional feelings and comments about it because in the article about hunger it does not only involve adult but also kids that can persuade the people who will read the article. And the author states the fact that 925 million people are starving as a form of evidence that persuades people to help this certain number.

The Torre de Manila controversy is one of the issues Filipino's react negatively to.  This is not the first time it happened to Rizal's Monument. Late 50's, there are  theater, cultural center and national library to be build behind the Rizal's Monument. People are against this, that's why the plan stops.  Another issue is redecorating the monument.  They would add a pylon to the monument so its height will increase.  Peoples reaction here are mostly negative such as calling it "monstrous", "hideous", and "carnivalistic", according to the article written by Ambeth Ocampo.  These issues about the changes been made concerning Rizal's Monument are a sign of some Filipinos disrespecting not only our national hero but also the other heroes who have died and been executed there. And its not mindful of us to know that we also disrespect the ones who created the monument itself.

Forever’s not enough
There was once a boy named Kim who foolishly fell in love with a boy named Joseph. Then one day, Joseph got jealous over Kim’s friend, Ray just because he saw a letter saying “Thank you ;)” for no particular reason. It turns out, Joseph misunderstood the meaning of the letter and took it as a form of flirting. After that, Joseph reported Ray to the school administrators accusing him for making a hate account on social media. And so, Kim decided to end the relationship without an actual discussion about the incident resulting to years or regretting for decision.

A place full of History
An interesting place you want to be? Or a place that holds an intriguing history? One country I know that can definitely answer your whereabouts – Greece. A country that holds information and explains why or how their culture, literature and music are known by people. A country that has a great contribution in world’s history.
First thing to know about Greece is their culture decades or centuries ago. Their ways of living and their four cardinal virtues that should be applied to a Greek. Greeks have a competitive personality. They won wars they thought that they had no chance of winning. But because of their competitive side, they won the battle. And of course they’ll loose the battle if they don’t have great soldiers that are trained at a very young age. These soldiers have been through a lot of sacrifices, pain and hard work to become a fully skilled soldier. They somehow apply their four cardinal virtues which is, by the way, effective in some points.
Greek arts and literature are also one of the enthralling things about Greece. If you love reading books, great artists of Greece have made many fascinating books that you’ll really appreciate. If you’re an artist like a painter or sculptor, great artists of Greece have made beautiful and breathtaking masterpieces or artworks. Based on my understanding, Greek literature is one of the most influential things that Greece has contributed to the world.
Here in Greece, there are many riveting things that you’ll learn while you are exploring those historical places that hold much information. It is also a place where somehow magic or fantasies exist. A place full of inspirational artists from the past till now. And a place that holds an intriguing history.
