In other news, we're finally live with #AcureWorld. Still slowly piecing together our first print issue. The first of a series, 'Why you need…' is live with my article on film cameras. #filmisnotdead and we're trying to show that over @acureworld Also I changed my tumblr URL from jamel-alatise to jamelalatise so check that out and hmu with feedback if you would because opinions are always welcome even if they aren't well-received.

Last night I had the pleasure to shoot Polaroid for an event unveiling and promoting Dior's latest fragrance 'Poison girl', a reimagined, modern day twist on a classic scent. Lately, it's been really interesting connecting with the tools and processes my parents would have used before the arrival and dominance of digital. I really encourage people to stray away from this fast-culture we've cultivated and to connect with something much slower, much more authentic, and richer in experience. It's great for the soul. I've also got a bunch of Polaroids, so if you haven't done your #AcureWorld analog photo to accommodate your written interview, holla at me. #Polaroid #Dior

Rikuro Miyai's screening of 1967, 16mm, b&w multiple projection of Phenomenology of Zeitgeist which featured accommodating live music, overlaying colours and lasers… it was extraordinary in of its expression of an angst that is still relevant today.
