she was planning to train to become a pyrotechnic, but had to put her plans on hold when a sudden accident left her parents gone, and her alone to support her two younger siblings.

she currently works 3 different jobs to support her siblings until they are old enough to be able to support themselves. she may have it rough now, but her love for her siblings keeps her motivated to keep going :)

saint campaign questions i have [spoilers]

since the char-select doesn't turn it into [you know what] until we actually beat the campaign then that means this is the first time it's been through the cycle, so my belief is that it was a slugcat who ascended but had the sacred duty of enlightening everyone else bestowed upon it, doomed to go through the great cycle every single day of its life until everything reached ascension. though this is kind of crazy of me but my mind my headcanon!!!! (/j)

it also ties into its gameplay mechanics because, yes, it was named and presumably designed after the saint passage, but it is also the most karmically far away thing from violence karma! i just thought that was interesting now that i actually thought about the campaign as a whole instead of just the mechanics and how that contributes to the atmosphere.

my thoughts are really disorganized but also makes me think about if the reason it wakes up with karma level 2 was just there as a gameplay decision or if it actually ties into its whole deal being perpetual reincarnation (VERY loose connection to level 2 being procreation, if it IS procreation and not carnal pleasure) and AHHHHH i love the saint sm also it has EYELASHES no one can tell me otherwise

i have a friend whos like really into cyberpunk but then i ask him if he'd be a communist and he says no. would he be punk? who knows. but that's not what pisses me off what actually it's that he thinks night city wasn't originally from neuromancer but i think im just being a little annoying about one of my favorite sci fi books
