“Hm. Very well, then I think I would pick my father. He has many of the same qualities as Nerdanel, we get along well, and he’s also very intimidating so the maze might just release us at his say-so.”

Tyelpë let the first pancake sizzle away while he cupped his partner’s face comfortingly. “Fuck mighty warriors. They screwed up more of the wolrd than they did good to it. I am glad to have you. Tell me, love, is your father still around? And others? Shall I meet them?”
Thief Part 4: The Morning After
Morhien was slow to wake- comfy bed and soft sheets and warmth and the steady heartbeat beneath his ear such a pleasant way to wake- wait. Where was he? Startled, the ex-thief jolted back to wakefulness, rising just enough to take in the vaguely-familiar surroundings, much more spacious and elegant than anywhere Morhien frequented- and Tyelperinqar. Oh. That explained it. Memories of the previous night drifted through the lifting fog of sleep, and Morhien felt his cheeks heating up.  Rather than try and get up, the wood elf snuggled back down under the covers and wound himself around Tyelpe again. The Noldo looked so peaceful, so content- all his cares forgotten for just a little while. It would be shame to wake him. @tyelp-with-a-spear

Morhien’s lovely humming seemed familiar. “I thought you were a Second Ager, darling,” Tyelpë smiled to him. “Were you around before?”

“O-oh right. Well.” Tyelpë turned back to the counter, his head full of romantic thoughts. “So, you just mix all the ingredients like this. It’s easy. Do it for me, and I’ll heat up the pan.”

“Ah! How fascinating! I shall ask the gardener about the shells.” Tyelpë’s ears twitched in response to the question. “Oh, oh! Kiss me?”

“The shells? What do you do with the shells besides throwing them to trash?” Tyelpë blinked at him, a little puzzled, and opened a cabinet from which sprang forth a garbage can. “Right here sweetie.”

“Any way besides burnt. Blueberries are nice, though. But you don’t have to. Don’t want to put you out of your way or anything.” If he was’t careful Morhien may well get used to regular meals and Tyelpe’s kind indulgence. Not that any of it was bad, just... can’t let himself get too comfortable or when something inevitably throws a wrench into all the pleasantness he won’t be able to adjust back. More pressingly, Morhien didn’t want to be a burden- the less difficult he made everything for Tyelpe, the longer Tyelp would want him nearby. “I. I’m not very good in the kitchen but if you tell me what to do, I could help?”
“Besides burnt!” Tyelpë laughed out and pecked Morhien on the cheek lightly. “Yes, I do have blueberries. “I can let you beat the eggs, sweetie?”
In the kitchen, Tyelpë indeed handed Morhien a couple eggs, a whisk, and a bowl. “Do you know how to do this?”

Tyelpë looked at that poor new boyfriend of his, almost tearing up. “Not yet, but I am about to make some. How do you like them, my love?”

“Made by me, yes.” Tyelpë’s look saddened, but soon gave way to a smile as he pulled out an ear cuff shaped like a dragon crawling around the earlobe, with green stones for eyes. “Here. This does not require piercing. I want you to have it. Wear it some other time. And, heh, guess I’ll dress more plainly than usual then.” He close straight grey pants and a black sweater with a white shirt. These thingns still probably looked too classy for Morhien’s neighborhood, but it was the best (or, worst) Tyelpë could do.

“Absolutely Erudamn beautiful,” Tyelpë approved. He turned on a light above some kind of display that held his jewelry. There, he selected lovely gold and green earrings, dangly teardrop-shaped ones, and offered them to Morhien.

Tyelpë produced a flowy green shirt, long sleeves but slightly open on the chest. To do with it, he found light brown pants. “I think these will match your lovely eyes so well. Try them on, lovely?”
