TURNING off her camera and immediately proceeding to take her make up off, Mali had successfully completed her weekly vlog. Well… it still had to be edited and all, but thankfully that was up to another person to do in the postproduction area. There was a time in her life that she used to upload three videos per week but now her whole world revolved around a little someone so priorities had changed. She quietly entered the room where she knew Max was taking care of Hana while she recorded. Melting at the scene of her baby girl peacefully sleeping on her daddy’s chest… oh, and he had followed her too. 

OF course Mali took her phone to share the adorable scene on her Instagram… everyone deserved to melt along with her. Not wanting to wake them up, she entered the bathroom to wash her face and finish her skincare routine as silently as she could. When she was finished, she returned to the room and approached them, placing a loving kiss on Max’s forehead to wake him up. “Good evening, sleepy head” she giggled as she softly caressed his cheek. “Now your next task is helping me figure out what we are gonna have for dinner”

Stirring awake, being careful not to wake his daughter on his bare chest. He heard that skin to skin bonding was important, so the streamer decided that’s what he was going to do as his girlfriend filmed in the room next to him. Max didn’t intend to fall asleep with his daughter, however, it was so peaceful that he couldn’t help but close his eyes listening to the two-month-old snore.

“Sorry...” a mumble from his lips, holding his daughter as he sat up. They were lucky that she was such a good baby, went to bed easily and never woke during the night except for when she had an issue. “I’m never going to sleep tonight... after that nap.” A soft giggle, maybe he would stream tonight to pass the time. “Do you want takeout? My treat?”

» • * — ( kim taehyung , cis male , he him ) . i think i hear dream state by son lux coming from apartment 2712. doesn’t maxwell “max” nam live there ?? i heard they are a twenty-four year old twitch streamer from montpelier, vt, but they’ve been living in the apartments for two years . they come across a bit - brash and - loud, but they also seem like they could be + charismatic and + entertaining . whenever i see them , i think of a dark office full of neon lights, strained eyes from staring at a computer screen, and deflated curse under their breath after losing a match. oh , and don’t forget to follow them on instagram at maxtothemax !

it is i.... cho. i bring you... gamer boy supreme! mr. maxwell nam. he’s okay i guess, cool enough for @itsmali​ to like him... so SICK. please like this for plots and i will come to you! under the cut will be a quick breakdown of his history!

Maxwell Christopher Nam was born and raised in Montpelier, VT on January 5th, 1996 his whole life. To be honest, he really did have a boring life. His parents were first-generation immigrants from South Korea, with his maternal/paternal grandparents moving here before his mother was born. As the least populous state capital in the entire country, growing up in Montpelier lead to a quiet, relaxed small-town feel to his life. 

As did most children, Max grew up enjoying video games more than he enjoyed schoolwork. And of course, like most parents, it was his mother and father’s nightmare when his grades were less than satisfactory. The two of them comparing his lack of study time to his gaming habits being the reason why.

Jokes on them though, Max ended up being able to make a career out of it! You know, considering everyone and anyone could get famous on YouTube these days. The boy started out primarily as a gaming YouTuber who did variety and comedy content on the side before moving his platform over to Twitch.tv. 

He got popularized for playing games such as Mortal Kombat, CS:GO, and Final Fantasy among others... soon to be most popular for Overwatch, but that’s released in 2016 so... not for a long time.

However, this channel and internet fame lead him to meet his girlfriend @itsmali​ ! They didn’t date right away tragically, Max was stuck in a bit of a pickle for two years... Good old friendzone, truly. But! After a visit to her in Minnesota, they kind of realized that they loved each other (well... he already knew that, but she had a boyfriend so he waited patiently until the day he could tell her). 

They have been dating since 2014... Alexa, please play 18 by One Direction... and were LDR for a while before finally moving to these apartments at the end of 2017. The pair just recently welcomed their daughter into the world on March 6th, 2020 after living in the apartments for just over two years. You may ask... four years... with a baby?! Where’s the ring, Maxwell?! Well... he’s working on. Be patient.

Their subscribers/shippers went WILD!! They are your typical online celebrity couple goals... posting vlogs and challenges, sometimes he brings her onto his stream. You get the gist.

Also... he’s very much a gamer, so much so that he named his daughter after his Overwatch main. No, not D.VA directly, but Hana Robyn Nam. With her middle name coming from Mali’s input, her love for Rihanna. Honestly, it’s a strange name... But it wouldn’t be their child without it.

Some plots I would love.... is a babysitter friend (so cute), gaming buddies, a fan of theirs or him separately, uhh best friends obviously... that one neighbour he chats with while getting the mail. You know, apartment things.
